They call me a couple times a week  on my cell phone, which I also believe I must pay long distance charges for. There is always an automated message about winning trips from Aeromiles.
I am on the do not call list and still receive numerous calls from this group, which sounds fraudulent.

Continually describing your received phone call here won't help much. Instead, I suggest save the number as a contact (filed under Loser Telemarketer or whatever) on your cell, then change the contact options to a silent ring/ignore, dependent upon your type of phone.

Been calling for over 6 months never anyone there, if I don't answer the long distance now in 5 or 6 rings they change to local calling.  Used to be they would let it ring up to 20 times. Wish whoever it is would stop the calling.  I'm not answering anymore when I see the number I just let it ring.

This number calls me continuously and leaves a vm saying I've won 2500 air miles travel rewards, but it has nothing to do with Air Miles card.  I am tired of these calls.

providers supplying all your personal information.( information age). The bigger the company the better the exposure.all about "competition"amongst these hipacrates bottom feeders. Making money through advertising enables them to reduce there  over head and  remain competitive. Some of the telemarkaters numbers are impossible to trace. the company phone your house  traced to Toronto. Third party from some communication tower in a obscure town in the states from there who knows, the companies run random numbers live or other wise. because the amount of revenue that comes in and the technology that manage to skirt around the law and  we  just a casualty . that bites sign up for the CRTC state your complaint in CANADA

I just got a call from that number. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize or ones that say "Unknown Name or Number.  I definitely consider them scam artists.

I have  my number on a "do not call list", but it appears a few of these pond scum telemarketers slip through the cracks.  I have a list of 15 different telemarketers who have been harassing me, and was getting approximately 6 calls a day from 9 am to 9 pm.  Extremely annoying!!  Surely there is somewhere or someone you can complain to about this.  It's definitely a form of harassment, and an invasion of privacy!

I just got a call from them saying "if you are a user of airmiles points...." robocall dicks!
Hung up on them arsholes.  My phone is shaw internet phone with call blocking, kicks azz! :)
next time they call it will go to a dead end.

Definitely airmiles scam crap....you get a (sur)prise for.....guess what?? Yes, you have to give them your credit card info. The surprise will come when you get your CC statement.

Called 'em back and got a recorded message, how important my call is, because of my Air Miles (which I don't collect), I have won a $2500 credit toward my next vacation.  Hung up before I had to listen to any more crap.
Wish they'd call and stay on the line for a while.  I have some time on my hands and love to talk to them about my broken glasses, pending personal bankruptcy, my resume, how to apply for job with the company they work for.  Some of the younger ones you can get to stay on the line for quite a while.  Serves 'em right.

Can someone make them stop calling.  Fed up!!!!!

It was a company for airmiles selling a trip. in regards to the number 647-847-4837

I received that call and nobody at the other end, hang up...

I called back to see if I could be removed from their call list.
Instead I got a recording saying I was being offered a $2500 credit on
my air miles, and to press 1 to get the credit.
Of course I didn't press 1.    I will block this number.

i had a call from Brittany she claimed to be.  She was calling about my Airmiles account and wanted to offer me a special trip to Florida, sounds like the other comment here!  She was very rude and hung up when i started asking questions

just got one of these calls.  Not sure what it is all about but is maddening as hell!

Called me on Feb 28 at 1:50, 1:49, 10:31 and 10:31 immediately again. Now isn't that harassment? When those calls didn't produce a victim for them, they called me using another number (647-495-9954) on Mar 1 at 1:59.
Still can't tell what the scam is from the postings here...but surely something most of us won't fall for.

Called today st 10:38 pacific, I do not answer what I do not recognize, then check here to see which of the Scum dialing robo calling b*****d tried to call!

SEEMS to be associated with 1-289-434-0718 as they call one after the other - total pain in the a** - and why do i have my reject list more full than my friends list???
the cell phone companies need to pool together or the CRTC and stop these harrassing calls from total jerks who want to steal your money or scam you. I doubt we would let them stand on the corner of Yonge and Dundas and scam us for this long???

I'm up to the 4th call from these scumbags and I've *57'd each time.  On the fifth call I'll call the RCMP and report them as harassing phone calls and see what falls out of the tree from that little exercise.
