I know everyone here is smart and not falling for this, but just to add to the posts here, this group has already been researched on CTV's W5 ... and you know its bad if you are on W5..... http://www.ctvnews.ca/the-shady-business-of-vacation-clubs-1.786686

These people have been CONVICTED IN CRIMINAL COURTS previously and are able to operate by changing the names of their companies. Watch the W5, but share this around too. Apparently the government isn't doing much proactively to stop them because they need people to give them evidence (rather than investigating...). Part of the scam is the financial lending companies that will come after people for monies owed, and there is very little protection in Canada against that. B*****ds.

They invited me to go to the Monte Carlo Inn in Vaughan. I wonder if we could sue the hotel for facilitating fraud....

My friend and I entered a few contests at the Outdoor Adventure show from legitimate companies.  We may have slipped and entered a draw with these fools somehow...

I received a call the week after telling me about being selected as a finalist and being guaranteed to win one of the prizes with no financial obligation. I was then directed to attend a presentation in Woodbridge.  I told them that I had an appointment the next day and that I would not be able to make it (which was true).  When I told them the appt. was in Mississauga and that it was at 18h15, they were adamant that I can make it to Woodbridge by 19h00. She then put her manager on the phone who also tried to convince me to come out but I would have no part in this.

They have since been phoning every day and not leaving a message.  I wonder if telling them the police will be involved will get them off my back...

They are calling regularly. I told them I'm self-employed don't know exactly how much I'm making. I don't have a girlfriend  but they still want me to come for a presentation. 6175 Hwy 7, Unit #6. They didn't say anything about fees but mentioned that I will need to be able to make a financial decision.

I find it funny because I got a call from them as well once at 8:29pm and again at 8:46pm. Now my thoughts were when I answered the phone was, who is calling me after 6pm... when working hours are done. Now they had told me the same thing that I was a finalist for a draw from a bridal show. Now I was like ok because the weekend just passed and I know i just went to one recently this could be legit, but if i registered for a draw at the bridal show then why are they asking me for my name and email address, and phone number when I had provided that info from before. And ontop of this lady asked me if I was 25 years old and if I wasn't they asked how old my fiace was... I just don't get it... what does our age have to do with anything. Also when they asked if my fiance would be coming with me to the banquet January 26,  i told them I would have to talk to him and let them know tomorrow, then she adviced that I spoke to her manager who then came on the phone and didn't sound to pleasant at all... and told me she was giving me 15 minutes to call my fiance and find out and i should let them know. obviously his phone  is off because he works out of the city and will cost him long distant charges for roaming so i knew not to call. So anyways 2 hrs and 20 mins later still no call back from these ppl.... if they call tomorrow I will just tell them no we can't make it.

Bunch of frauds smh some ppl have nothing better to do with their lives its soo sad.

I just got a call tonight from a lady and same as above from what u all are talking about as i went to the motorcycle show last month and was trying to get me to come down to claim prizes over $800 and I told her I didn't have a way there and passed. They caked back and left no message and looked  online for the number as its a scam.

I received a call from than as well. As I did recently go to the motorcycle show, I let my guard down and talked to the lady. It was the same as above. She was adimant that I bring only my wife, as it's an intimate buffet setting. I asked about the sales pitch and they would not tell me the membership fee. They did ask me to bring 2 pieces of ID as well. Blocked the number.
Be warned.

Same message from PBC Discounts. The first time they called, the girl said I was a finalist for some contest I had entered. After confirming my name she said she would have to call me back in a minute. They called back  two days later, I didn't answer my cell, no message. I blocked the number.

NO idea how these goofs got my cell number.  Only family know my number, and rarely use it.  None of us has entered anything with this number, and that is for certain.  Did not pick up.  Wish they would not pester ANYone with this nonsense.

Total scam. Do not go. Membership costs $12,000 and you get nothing out of it. The prize you win would be tri to Florida, no airfare, only hotel accommodation with so much restrictions. So you will end up not using it.

If they got your name from a bridal show, they will try to hard sell you VERY expensive cookware in that sales presentation. I'm only surprised they did not demand that you bring a credit card as well (that's why you need 2 photo IDs, they want to make sure that YOU don't scam THEM with a bad credit card when they talk you into buying).

These people call themselves the "PBC Discounts" and called to inform me that I was a finalist for a draw from a home show in August in Orangeville.  They had my name, home number, and email address and told me I was guaranteed to win one of five prizes if I showed up at 6175 HWY 7 West Unit 6 Woodbridge ON. On Saturday Dec 1st at noon.  They said I was getting a buffet dinner for two and wanted my partner's personal info.  They gave me a prize number and wanted me to bring two peices of photo I.D.   They said they were going to call back the next day to give me directions.  After calling my parents to confirm they didn't enter me in a draw, my husband called them back to get more details.  This time they said they got my info from a bridal show.  They could not give the name of the show, the address, or even the exact date of the show they said they got the info from.  I told them to destroy all my information, not to use it and not to contact me again.  They had an accent I couldn't place
