They keep calling us as well (GTA,  do not call list). It shows "private number". They do not leave messages.

This number just called me again twice and I ignored it so they left 2 voicemail's and all they were was people faintly talking in the background..like seriously this person needs to get a life and stop calling random numbers to harass people.

A guy called me by this number 6479309148 I could barely hear him..he said he was from wind mobile and that the number in their file was mine but the person they were looking for was Steve . Then he started asking how old I was and said he loved talking to me and that i had a lovely voice...like what a creep! I hope he never calls my number again :(

I am fed up with this nut also get 3 - 4 calls a DAY. So I called Bell and spoke to customer service rep, very nice guy.
Told me it's FREE and he put me on a International do not call list.  Suppose to be good for 5 years.
Your only suppose to get calls from political parties or charities.
He says it takes 3 weeks to process and be added to the list, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and by the end of the month I should be free of this #@%*%%#
If not Bell Cda is going to start getting muliple calls per DAY from me harrasing them until they take
responsiblity and track this nut down after all he's using their service to harrass me they should be able
to trace this nut and cut of his service.

Damned AUTODIALERS!  They are rigged for outgoing calls only.  Some have a phoney header so that arbitrary phone number appears.  They are  normally contracted out to different customers.

The dead air is due to not enough agents for the computer to hand a live answered call over to a live agent.

The slow answer is an overloaded system that the database and program cannot handle their call volume.

It is relatively cheap to setup.  It would cost only a few thousand to set one up to harass several thousand people a day.

I apologize if it is the one I setup.  I regret ever building such a system.

They claim they're from Bell, but wouldn't they know my details if they were really from Bell?
I ask why they keep calling me then they hung up.
I tried to call them back and the call could not be completed.

Selling some phone service from Bell.  Not really sure if legit and left him on phone.

Just hung up on this guy. He asked for "the owner of the telephone line." I said, "There's no one here by that name." He hung up

Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. It went to the answering machine and all I heard was a loud HELLOOOOO!! And then he hung up. I tried dialling the number back but the call couldn't be competed as dialed.

this number cannot be reached if you try to call them.  How is it that in Canada people can contract a line, and block it to conduct criminal activity? Ok, so if it's not criminal, what are you hiding for? My concern is that they call and sometimes your kids pick up the phone, they remain silent, and hang up.  That is a coward act, because you might even be recording people's voices to determine who or how many people live in a home.  Where is the police in all this?  Treat others with the same measure you'd like to be treated back, if you've got the time, do the crime coward!

Idiotic Indian person demanding we speak clearly.  He was angry for wasting his time and eventually hung up.

Got a call today from "Bell Canada" offering me the world for $51.00! when I asked for his employee id number he put me on hold (shortly followed by me being disconnected). This guy is good - It looks like he cycles the calling numbers.

This number called several time and I didn't pick up.
Then - he changed the display as"'Private" caller.
We are not answering the phone to "Private caqller"s.
I try to call back - to the original number - C=not connected, try your call again".
It looks to me - there are people that they have NOTHING TO DO.
Why these numbers can't be BLOCKED???????????????????????

This number has called the home phone several times and no one on other end. If you call it back the message says the number is out of service. Use the Bell Can block number service.

A man called my number many times 3 or 4 times a week, he said : may he speak to my husband ( my husband name on the bill ) ? I asked: " may I ask who is speaking " He told that he calls from Bell Canada.... . I always cut that call by saying to him I don't need any promotions from Bell. But he keeps calling my number to look for my husband . The last time just 5 minutes ago , he just laughed when I asked who are you ? This man is so sick : although he definitely know that we have never needed any offer from him why he lost so much time " keep calling " to disturb us ??? Then he feel happy ?
I try to phone back them 6479309148 many times but I only heard that :" we're sorry you call can not be completely to dial Please check the number & dial again or call the operator to help you . This is a recording" . I think that number was blocked for nobody can call him back .

yeah it called around 9pm just to hang-up in my ear,called back and the call cannot be completed as dialed....

Then they ask are you with Bell?
Really?? If you guys are legit you would know if we are with Bell or not and know what services we have.
They sound like they are calling from a call center with a poor connection from a far and distant land.
They call about once a month and every time I tell them no I do not want any changes.
Enough already!
