Called asking for the "owner" even though we are a non-profit society.  I told them there's no "owner" (we are run by a volunteer board) to which they asked to speak with the "Manager in charge of the MasterCard Account".  We don't have a MasterCard Account either (everything is paid by cheque), so I asked who was speaking and they hung up.

I doubt this is a legit business, it seems more like they're trying to fish for credit card information for fraudulent purposes.

Number lists to "Iristel Inc" as a provider.

The company is called EMS and they are calling about the merchant services account.  So if you have a debit/credit machine, they want your business.  They are extremely rude and must be told in their training to be as obnoxious as possible because they won't even listen to the owner of the company I work for when they say no.

called 2 times in a row with about 15 seconds difference, no message left.

Keeps calling our company no one ever talks just hangs up when i answer very annoying...

Has called my times and has been told to stop calling they have not and are very disrespectful. leaving hangup messages with call centre noise in back ground. Not sure what company this is but it is becoming very irritating

There was a woman who was very aggressive and insisted on speaking with a manager/owner but wouldn't tell me what the call was concerning. And when I tried to ask multiple times she hung up on me. What a waste of time.

They Called me 3 times in the last 2 days. Trying to sell or switch your merchant account (Visa, Mastercard)
Does not matter what you say they keep calling. Maybe I should set up appoitment with them and when the person shows up , kick him out. You do it once, twice they might understand.

This company calls weekly asking for the person in charge of payment services.

Canadian Payment. They call non-stop from various numbers. Nothing works. They know my first name and they are getting more and more aggressive. I've reported them to the CRTC. I am beyond frustrated and starting to become a little alarmed.

What can we do to make them stop?

Just called 1-866-525-0717 (Canadian Payment) to have my number added to their "do not call" list. These little b*****ds are relentless and unprofessional!! The agent I spoke with... I requested to be put on "do not call" & the t**t hung up the phone. (Her name was felicity, I ask who they are, who they represent,  a phone number to call back before I advise im not interested.  If you feign interest, they answer questions- THEN tell them to beat it!!!)

Wouldn't hurt to let them know if there's another call (6 times a day is beyond harassment,  and these agents are rude idiots), their info will be sent to the proper government agebcies based on your location-(Mine is service Alberta) if they refuse to com9ly with the law, they'll be contacted by federal government

This number has called on behalf of Electronic Marketing systems and Canadian Payments. Very aggressive / annoying.

These c*** suckers call 6 times a f****ng day. I don't answer but will next time. I'm going to tell the c**** to go f*** themselves!

Woman calls from company called Canadian Payment Services.  She guarantees she can save me 40-50% off of my merchant bill and that I'm currently getting ripped off.  Not booking an immediate appointment with one of her reps would be a big mistake.  Tell her I just shopped my account and was not interested at this time.  Keeps nagging and then finally says that I obviously have no authority to make any decisions and hangs up!  I get cold called frequently but this woman was the worst I've seen in a while.

This woman spoke so quickly I missed the name of her company but she is working from a very old list, she asked for the former owner of the company by name and he has been deceased for almost 15 years.

Called my business and no one said anything.

Same message was used on our business.  Also asked who handles the merchant accounts etc.
She said she was from Star????  did not catch the rest of the words,as she spoke very fast and was very rude.

Very rude woman calls NON-STOP about "speaking to someone who handles our merchant account".  I tell her we're no interested, she repeats herself, then  i tell her we don't take solicitation calls and she tries (i say *tries*) to make me feel bad.  whoever this company is are ignorant morons, and since we repeatedly tell them we're not interested and take us off their list they call back.

if it's not a scam then i don't see how these idiots make money by being rude to "potential customers"

Repeated calls with no one there. I have had 4 such calls within a 5 minute span.

Lady tried to tell me they can find ways to save money on my credit card. Some kind of consulting company. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
