I am sick and tired of these stupid calls.

Do not, under any circumstances, answer a call before checking your call display. If you do not recognize the name or the phone number, just ignore it. As simple as that. If it is an important call, they will leave a message. If you answer these calls, they will keep trying and also sell your number to other crooks so that they can call you as well. If they keep trying and no one answers, they'll give up.

They have called twice wanting to fix our computer. Always suspicious of this thing so I looked into it with my computer company and they said it is definitely a scam. They are calling my cell phone. Don't know how they got it.

I make a habit of checking my call display before answering any calls. If no name or some name I do not recognize appears, I leave it for the answering machine. If the message is important (and there usually isn't one), I will call back. The No-Call list seems to be a government boon-doggle. The present on-going robo-call scandal shows how ineffective it is. Political calls, charity calls, newspaper calls are all exempt and shouldn't be. Calls from USA sites are not covered either. Telemarketing calls should be considered as invasions of privacy and made illegal under both Canadian and American constitutions.

I screen my calls and ignore this one  They call once a day but do not leave a message.  It is annoying.

Called my cell @6:40pm PT did not answer. No message left.

Asked to participate in 30 second survey on national debt and they would give me a free cruise.  Really!  Really?  I hung up.

Just got a call from this number also 713pm MST on 3/7/12.  I didn't answer because I don't know anyone in Canada.  No message left and I didn't call back because I don't believe I can call Canada on the plan I have.  Glad I googled to find this site.  Tom, where do you go to report these calls?

My mom got a call from this number at 7:16 pm and offered her a trip or something.

Received call Mar 7 12 was asked to participate in survey on national debt. Press 1 to participate or 9 to decline. I have heard this is a scam to get control of your phone line. I simply hung up you probably should too.

Received call from 647-931-7616 at 16:39 on 7th March 2012 caller hung-up on 4th ring, before our answer-phone had a chance to answer on 6th ring. Having read these messages, we will not be calling them back. Thanks for the tip.

Yep me too.  Screen calls, did not answer. If it is the computer fix crooks I ask for their number in order to report them to O.P.P. fraud squad. They hang up.
It is a shame these calls are being made from The Toronto area. They are crooks, beware.
Whatever happened to the  "do not call " list. Be sure you report this number so it gets shut down.

Person call and asked to fix my computer problems which I don't have... asked his name which company and to give me his number so I can return his call.  He hang up;

they called did not say a thing then hung up.  Tried looking up number and it does not exist.  Tried calling number back and get busy signal
