Several calls from this number. I didn't call back.

got a call from this # at 6:10am, no voice mail left.  I called back and heard some garbled message.  googled the number and found this site with a bunch of identical reports.

I have the same problem like you,my code is 917,it keep calling me in the past 3 monthes.

each call costs $1.50! according to my cell phone provider, it's an international number. i have a 917 as well, and started receiving calls from this number a few days ago. and they call every hour. i've stopped picking my phone up but it's very annoying and disruptive. at&t is unable to block calls. how do we get this to stop????

I've gotten these calls all week as well.  I'm a 917 area code.
I was thinking about calling my provider to see if I can block it or if there are some charges on my bill that I should know about.  Has anyone checked with their provider?

649 area code is the Turks and Cacos Islands...

I just recieved my fifth one from this number.  Each on successive days and the call is getting later in the day each time.  One ring, no VM

I have a 917 number as well and I got a call from this number. I missed it and I tried calling it back, but the ringing sounded strange, so I figured it was costing me extra.

Keep getting the same calls as all of you and when you call the # back its some XXX talk line, have received several calls from this # all different times of the day

I've gotten 3 of these (all missed, no voicemail), including one 30 seconds ago. I have a 917 number. Should we be worried about this nuisance?

Is there any way to make this number stop calling? The same thing is happening to me. They call multiple times a day and it rings once and hangs up. My area code is 916. Is this happening to all 916 numbers or all different area codes?

I've received three calls from this number to my cell phone in the past week, and they are getting progressively later in the day.  The first call was at 10:10AM, the second at 12:52PM, and the final at 4:01PM.  The phone always just rings once - so even if I wanted to answer ? which I don?t ? they don't give me the opportunity to do so.  Quite frankly, it's just annoying.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list, but obviously that doesn't stop people from calling.

Same here -- several calls over the past week or so, to my cell phone.  The call is always interrupted at the calling end. I tried to call back once, and listened to a very distorted and difficult to understand recording as described by Sarah (March 4). I assumed it was a scam of some sort and haven't answered again.

I've gotten calls from this number for the past week.  I have never been able to answer it because of the times of the calls.  Very annoying, they are using up my minutes.  My husband is getting the same calls and just as often.
