I received thses calls today, one at work and two on my cell. All three wer from "Nancy Jones". When I called back I was connected to David Carrick the Sr Attorney telling me that I could avoid the court fees of $5484 by paying today 758.87 for a payday loan that he said I took in November. He wouldn't tell me the date that I took the loan or the date that it was presented and bounced. I told him that I needed more information because of the scams that are out there. He became very defensive and asked me if I was accusing him "on a recorded call". He then said that he would not discuss this any further and "Good luck in court"!

i got a call from some "attorney's" office saying that i owed them $5,484 and i don't know what for.

The same thing happened to me today!  they called my work and cell and told me that the irs or fbi would be at my house tomorrow at 11am to arrest me and transport me to clearwater california where i would be held until trial for a 300 dollar payday loan which i never received!  david clarke was the guys "name".

I recieved a call at work from "David Parker" on 03/08/10. When I told him I can't talk there, he called my home the next morning from a PA cell number. I know for a fact it's a cell ,because my carrier uses the same prefix. Anyway, he gave me a number to call with my $500 payment 310-974-8960, which comes back with nothing if you search it. I called him and he told me to google his name instead of the company...guess how many David Parkers there are out there! I'm glad I found all this info on this, because I do owe on a cash advance, he knew at least part of my ssn, and he knew my references! I almost bought into it! Anyway, watch for the 310 number, the area code is out around LA, but who knows what the number really is.

They called me today, and they called from a 760-923-1724...be ware all!!!! This is really a scam! I never took out a pay day loan via the internet. Be careful. Dont waste as much energy on them as I did today.

I got a call today, and they left a message telling me to call back or they will see me in court and good luck to me & my kids. I wish I could find out who they are, I tried to call back for the hell of it but no answer. Then looked up the number and got this scam. Thank you

just received back-to-back calls and voicemail messages from this number with a "Jim _____" (VERY broken English, called me "Mr. K____") telling me or my attorney to call him immediately or else.  He wished me "good luck with my case." 650-239-4649.  I have saved the e-mail notifications of the calls, and the fact that two voice messages were left; also saved the voicemails.  People are unbelievable, aren't they!

They way you get them to stop calling is to call them out on the scam.  I told "jacob" a few weeks ago when he was calling me that I knew it was a scam and I already reported the numerous calls to state and local authorites.  I told him he can keep calling and I will just keep adding the calls to my numerous complaint reports.  He told me good luck in court and hung up.  I have not heard from them since.  Just hanging up on them doesn't usually work because they will just call back.  Calling them out on it and telling them I reported them is what worked for me.

how do you get them to stop calling.  i have sent a message to my attorneys generals office.

Got the same call last Friday- hung up on Mike whatever his name was- he calls back (on my work phone) and left me a voicemail SCREAMING about me hanging up on him. Told me "God can't help you now?"
Three phone calls since then, just let 'em go straight to voicemail, and sit around and let my friends listen to them-- highly amusing.

I am so happy that I am not alone I have been so scared cause the person saying that his name is david clark and boss named jacob saying that I owe all this money and that I could go to jail for al thwse charges against me. I am a amoth rof two and don't have a criminal recoerd. These people are rude and jerks and I even called the cops about it. They called me today. cathy Martin from 650-239-4649. What a scam? They must pf Phished my info online. i have changed my bank account number and called FBI and local police. it will teach me to be more careful with my info. If they call mess with them! They are in India and hangup on you when you tell them you know it is a scam!

It's a scam that's run out of Milbrea California they are either Korean or Tiwaunees They set up a phoney cash advance website and also get your numbers off the net or anything you possibly signed up for on the web. Disregard and contact your local police department to report them. Thier # is 650-239-4649 they are con artist.

Got a call on Feb. 2,2010 and AGAIN this morning...this time they blocked the phone number.Which i still have in my phone!! Along with the threat "NANCY JONES" left me...they threatened me and said tat i would be arrested at work and my employer would be served and have to go to court saying i committed bank fraud and check fraud. From a company called quickcashnet never used them, i will admitt i have a payday loan but have been with the same people for over a year. And it is not the one they said i owed money too. $501.00 had to be paid they said or i would be brought to court. Then he couldnt gaurentee me it was just that amount said i might have to pay $5000.00 fee as well. I am soooo glad i have a BRAIN!!! Anyway what the freaky part is, is that they had my refrences information. My friend and cousin...hoping they dont try any thing with them so i am going to call and explain the situation. HOW COULD PEOPLE DO THIS!!!

I received a call from this company last night saying that I owe for a payday loan that came from Quik Cash.Net.  They wanted me to fax them a letter giving them authorization to deduct $524.00 from my account.  Of course it sounded suspicious because if they were going to prosecute me, I most certainly would have been notified before now.  They gave me a number of 650-239-4649 and a fax number of 323-739-3335 and told me to ask for a David Parker.  I hope that you catch these Bastards. Times are to hard for them to be trying to rip people off.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one receiving these calls..I was really scared when I started getting them. They also told me I had defaulted on some loan...and had bad checks, etc.  He told me that if I paid $523 that the so-called charges would go away....I got a bogus address...actually it is someones personal address and the crime center of america law firm...looked that up also...not real. The calls usually come from David Jones...I asked him what lawyers work there and he said "You don't know the famous Lawyer David Walker"...I was like whatever...they won't give you any information about who is the person that are making these charges....or any information...I asked if this is real how come I haven't been notified that I defaulted, how come I haven't received anything in the mail about court or anything...he didn't have an answer....These people are irritating...It is unsettling that they know my cell number and where I work....Any suggestions on what to do......I'll take it

I got a call from this number yesterday on my cell and my work number.  The person with an extremely heavy indian accent said his name was Jacob and he was calling from the Crime Center of America (there is no such place) and if I didn't return the call ASAP all he could do is wish me luck on my court case.  I called them this morning and they told me that I was being investigated for bad check writing.  When I asked what the hell he was talking about he said I owed a payday loan to CashNet USA (which I don't) and if I didn't pay immediately  they would have a police officer come to my job and arrest me.  I told him I didn't have any payday loan and to never call me again and I hung up.  I started to do some research and I found out this is a scam where the scam artist is trying to scare people in to giving them money.  Lo and behold 2 hours later my cell rings and it is them calling back with the same spiel. This time I told "Jacob" I knew this was a scam and that I reported this fake company and obvious phantom phone number to The U.S. Secret Service, the FBI, the FTC, my state's attorney general as well as my local police department.  When I told him that he said "uh, well good luck in court" and hung up.  This is a straight scam from start to finish.  Anyone out there who has a payday loan and you get a call like this, please know that you can not be prosecuted for not paying it back.  They can possibly file a civil case against you, but not a criminal one.  In fact it is criminal for THEM to threaten you with criminal charges.

I received a phone call on 11 Feb at my work number for an individual who spoke broken english. There was a lot of background noise and he told me he was representing a legal office, but wouldn't give the name...after a while he states it was Landfill Associates. He proceeded to tell me there would be legal action taken against me due to failure to pay back a cash advance loan.  After going back and forth with him and telling him I did not know what he was talking about, he finally hung up.  It is quite scary because he had a lot of my personal information.  Watch out for Davy Jones!!!!!!!

Received the same call last night. Spoke to someone with broken english this am, and he states 3 cases from quick cash net from oct 2009. needless to say, i Never took out a loan. how do I stop them?

I recvd a call today from this fraudulent company. It was a Doug Brown who left this message stating that I need to follow-up today or legal action was going to be taken the man spoke so fast that I was alerted and called back immediately I recognized that everyone had an Indian accent. I spoke with "Douglas Brown" and he gave me all of my info and states that I owe this money I proceeded to tell him that I had no clue of what he was talking about and he said I will send you all of the info necessary for the proceedings. He even verified my home address SCARY, we somehow were disconnected so I immediately called my bank and had them look into my account Ms Clark we see nothing on or in your account from Quick cash net  WHEW I didn't think so I do call back and speak with another Rep by name of "David Clark" (Really) and I tell him there is no transaction on my account and they need to give me a print out on what he apparently sees. Miraculously we are disconnected again. So I do my research and see all of these posts sure enough I knew it was a HOAX and Fraud so I call back and tell the rep that I want to pay my balance but I need the address she refuses and says basically I need to get a prepaid credit card and then call in my reference number. I replied so that there is no paper trail she tells me that I am wasting her time and mines and disconnected the call I then in return call back and I kept calling until "Doug" answered the phone I told him I very unhappy on how I was treated and he needed to give me an address that I could send a formal complaint he gave me an address 1432 Huffman Ln Campbell Ca 95008 I Google it of course and at no surprise it was to a another business (Locks Smiths Shop) . I called him back and of course no answer. I called the Attorney Generals office and filed a complaint I am waiting for correspondence. I will not stop at this they have harassed the wrong WOMAN and I will not stop at the end they may owe me $400 B*****ds.

Received a call at my job on my supervisors phone saying that it was in my best interest to give them a call asap. befor I even got to my desk they were calling again. Some guy named Andy Young said that i had a past due bill that was going to court, but that i had the option to pay the fees up front and out of court. Said he was calling on the befalf of Crime center America. Told me I need to write an authorization letter and sidn it and send it to his fax number 3237393335 or 5623723325. Couldn't understand a word that he was saying and was very rude.

Received a telephone call from 650-239-4649 at work from a lady professing to be Nancy Jones.  Stated that they had a legal case against me.  These calls need to stop immediately.  I know that they are a scam.  Very broken English.  Do they think we are stupid??? Please stop calling me at work!  Or, send the authorities like you have threatened to do - we'll see where this goes if they do.

I just got a call on my cell phone from an Andy Young (case worker) (phone 714-006-6000), who tried to transfer me to his supervisor Mr. Jackson.  The person with an extremely heavy indian accent and there was alot of noise in the back ground. I couldn't understand them, and I hung up.  They mentioned that there was a claim against me for bank fraud and two other counts.  After I hung up, they called right back and left a voicemail to call 650-239-4649.  I googled this information and found out that it was a scam.  Within 10 minutes, Andy Young called my phone at work! Andy asked me why I hung up and tried to transfer me to Mr. Jackson again.  Since I knew what I was getting into, I told him that I new my legal rights and that I was going to report him to the local police.

I have had several calls from these people...i finally got the name of the "company": Crime Center of America.  They have very strong forgien accients with very common fake names: Alex Smith (attorney); David Clark (case worker); Nancy Jones (case worker) and Natasha (supervising attorney for Alex Smith)  i am glad that i had the internet to prove that they were indeed a scam.  when asking for documentation i was hung up on.  they knew way to much personal information about me: address, last 4 of my social; bank account.  they even tried to debt my bank account last night.  i have since called my bank and let them know the situation.

I received a call today from a guy named David Clark and said he was with the Crime Center of America
and that he was an attorney and I was going to be taken to court for a crime of non payment of loan.
Loan was suppose to be in Nov 2009 direct deposit to my bank, I did not have a deposit from any
loan company during Nov.  I told him this and ask for documents, he said he was not there to give
out documents , but to collect a debt.  I called my bank and put a hold on my account, because
he has all my information, I did do a payday loan back a few months ago, but this was paid out.
I call the company and they told me it was a fraud and to call my bank.  I am going to report this over
to the FBI and the Attorney General's Office.  When they found out had a law background, they would
answer any of my calls.
