Found two charges on my Chase Visa account by IP-SALESBYWEB.com with the same phone number.  Chase restored my funds and is researching.  I urged them to bump this up to a higher level since I've found dozens of Chase customers this has happened to.

I got the same $220.00 scam twice on my credit card bill. I called 650-249-5269 and someone actually answered ! He said he was from i-pay-options and they process payments. He said the merchant was "Diamond Cash Club" (they have a website) for a "gemstone voucher". Said he would reverse the charges. We'll see. Be careful.

I did not receive a call, but my credit card was charged for 220 twice on 11/5 and 11/6.  I have not used that credit card recently.  I hope my credit card company will take care of it.

I didn't receive a call from these guys but discovered 4 charges from IP-salesbyweb.com with the phone number 650-249-5269.  One was on 10/25/07 for $440 then 3 more on 10/29/07 for $440 and 2 for $660.  I immediately reported it to my credit card company who reissued me a new card and will reverse the charges within 10 days.  This happened around 3 months ago on my debit card, where you go to the website and they ask for you name and creditcard number before you even get anywhere on the site.  i just checked my credit report online and its fine as of now, but this is very disturbing. the only thing i can think of is that within the last two weeks i set up my online banking account for the specific card that was charged, maybe an online purchase at red envelope, but thats about it.

just noted on my online banking a charge of $220 dollars by ip-salesbyweb.com.  I have no idea who this company is or represents, but I didn't authorize the charge.  Only thing out of the ordinary that I have used my debit card for lately is for a down payment on an automobile warranty(us fidelis)which seems legititmate. My bank froze my account and is issuing another card.

I WAS GETTING SEVERAL MESSAGES ON MY HOME ANSWERING MACHINE ABOUT BEING OK'D FOR A LINE OF CREDIT. I DON'T HAVE THE NUMBER, BUT AROUND THE SAME TIME MY CHECKING ACCOUNT ( VIA MY VISA DEBIT CARD NUMBER) WAS DEBITTED 3 TIMES IN ONE DAY IN THE AMOUNT $220 EACH. A NETZERO ACCOUNT WAS ALSO OPENED AT THE SAME TIME. TWO DAYS LATER A PAYPAL ACC'T WAS OPENED AND THERE WERE OVERSEAS PURCHASES MADE.

Two minutes after I made a purchase from cyberguys.com I got billed twice for 220 bucks from this ip salesbyweb, and also got a computer phone call claiming to be from some supposed 'bank fraud department' at 888-6445575 asking me to speak my zip code and other information, I hung up, called the bank, they are issuing a new card and will investigate and return my 440 bucks. Strange.

We were scammed too.
Luckily our credit card company caught it and put a hold on our card.  They hit us up at the beginning of the month and tried again a couple weeks later.
My wife just called the CC company and I did a google search of the number and came to this site.

Update-!
I repeatedly contacted live-operator.com and hounded them to death and finally got my money back because salesbyweb.com would not respond to their efforts. I have to applaud them for actually coming through. I threatened them with a police report and contacting the FBI, I don't know that the threat is what came through, or that they were just being honest.....????
But the bottom line is..... I got my money back! You can too!

On 10/17/2007 a charge was posted to my account in the amount of $220 by IP-SALESBYWEB.COM. I contacted my bank the the afternoon following my discovery-10/19/07 and they advised me of the phone number to contact and it is 650-249-5269. I called it and got a recording from a male Australian fellow saying to leave a message because their regular business hours were ?-? Central Australian Time. I then called my bank and cancelled my card. They advised me to notify the police and file a report, which I have not yet done. I left a message with this Live-Operator.com before I even thought this through. They have not called me back as of yet. I use paypal on rare occasions but haven't lately. I do pay my mortgage online as well as my phone and cable bill. I recently bought a monitor for my computer from BestBuy.com but other than that, I have no idea where they got my debit card number. Live- Operator.com has emailed me and stated that they are just a billing service, but they have not remedied this yet. I also looked up that phone number and found other complaints for the same amount of money on 800notes.com along with other numbers that are one digit off with the same result. I never visited the site before they took my money and I never authorized anything other than what I mentioned before. The charge on my card showed up and then I started researching the information.

I was never called by these people.... but MY debit card was charged $220.00 as well! I've never been to heir website until now, and never entered my card info into their "help" center. I am disputing the charge, and am getting a new bank card issued. I think my local Chinese restaurant delivery guy may have copied my info, since that is the only place who writes down the number ON the receipt (in triplicate). I'm not sure how this website figures into this, but they are scamming or helping scammers somehow.

My charge card is on hold because there is a charge for $220. Their contact info goes to a support website that you have to enter your credit card info into. The phone number goes to an answering machine. Odd that the other person who logged this phone number has the exact same charge listed. HUGE FRAUD
