According to my wife, after the phone woke her from a nap the recorded message started by saying "Don't hang up - this is not a sales call." When she learned the call was from AARP, she hung up anyway.

Called at 5 pm edt today. Caller ID said "Cell Phone CA" - did not leave message. Looked it up, as per what was said above--Redwood City, CA and appears to be a scammer.

I got a call on my registered landline at 3:52 PM. I don't a answer callers I don't know. They didn't leave a message. It was a scammer from Redwood City, CA.
