I just received a call from American Law Associates from a Miami, FL number of 305-357-4256 claiming that I was being sued for not paying back a payday loan. I have reported them.

Just received a call from 305-507-4760 American Law Associates threatening me to return her call or else. Read all your posts thank you very much. Reported them to the local District Attorney's Office and FBI. Called that number back told him that I reported them and whatever his name is begged me not to do that. Repeatedly. Also told him their company was all over the Internet is scam artist. All he could do was beg me not to report them. Everyone needs to do this

A man named Jason Smith left a message on my phone about some fictional payday loan I was going to be sued over.  When I called back, he said his name was Kevin something.  He had a foreign accent, such as Pakistani, etc.  The number he used was 786-507-5838.  This is the second time in a little over a year they have tried this mess with me.  They never did call my employer the first time, and I went through the whole process of contacting my local police and the FTC.  They did what they could, but all these jerks do is get different numbers and start all over again.

its all a scam. theyve been calling me and i just started calling them back and they get upset when i call them and start cursing and telling me they're gonna call me. dont even worry about them.their idiots call them back and tell them u thing its a scam and see how they flip out.

I HAVE BEEN KEEP GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM A ALEX BARONE(INDAIN ACCENT) , FROM 626-802-5001 / VERY RUDE AND THREATNING/ SAYING ITS AMERICAN LAW ASSOCIATES OF CALIFORNIA AND THAT IF I DONT CALL HIM BACK IMMEDITEALY, I MIGHT GO TO JAIL OR PAY PENALTIES/ THANKFULLY, I CAME TO THIS SITE, AND REALIZED THAT IT WAS A SCAM. BUT THE BAD THING IS THAT THEY'VE CALLING MY WORK AS WELL. AND THEY WONT HANG UP , OR CALLS BACK ..CAN'T WE DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT?

These people, micheal fuller, has been trying to scam me for weeks. Always different number several times a week even a day,always changing name etc anyways I've decided to have a little fun by flirting with him and it's pretty freaking funny! I'm try and get more info outta him but we see, it's a prob now cuz he calls even more "missing" me hahahah I can't even understand him! Awesome fun I suggest everyone do it!

beware this micheal fuller dude is also calling from 282-726-2524 and 424-345-3304. threatening, got mad when i said i needed to make sure this was legit, also said id go to jail etc  also a guy named mark brown, who by the way sound exactly like micheal fuller lol it was actually kinda funny im pretty sure he just hit some numbers and said this is mark brown lol just beware they wanted all bank info even told me i had to fax it, i said i wouldn't fax my info and he got pissed lol, what a joke!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMING ! I JUST RECEIVED A CALLED AND I TOLD THEM I KNEW WHO THE WERE AND THE GUY EVEN STARTED YELLING AT ME WHAT PROFESSIONAL WOULD DO THAT? DONT FALL FOR IT!

I too keep receiving these calls- Multiple times a day, cell- home and work. Today -they called my work; my employer told them I was off today- This man Frank Lawrence (not) from American Law Firm; said that I owed several debts and that there was a legal matter of high importance - I needed to call right away or face the consenquences! My employer said she would not take the message as she felt it was illegal to peronal-private matters to another person not involved; it was a right to privacy law- the man was so angry and upset- he hung up and called back 10 more times to which she didn't answer- What a joke - If this was real - collection agencies or law office do no conduct themselves in this matter and it's actually illegal for them to make threats of jail or anyother kind; for a debt owed.
I hope they get caught.- Soon very annoyed!

Got a call from 650-288-0525 stating there is a legal matter and I'm being sued for something.  I have no idea what he was talking about because I'm not overdue with any of my payments and I never heard of their company.  He stated not to ignore the message or I will suffer legal consequences.  You can smell it a mile away it is a scam.

I just recieved a call this morning stating the samething from this number 619-567-3335

i talked with the da and the fbi, to my understanding from them is that they can"t do anything about this cituation because they are not in the united states and the country has different laws, just thought you"d like to know. received the same call today from Alvin who transfered me to his supervisor Mike Anderson. I have reported this call as well to the FTC and FBI as well as my attorney

this twerp first called me three months ago and accused me of murdering his sister! He told me to get my lead attorney to call him and that I would be arrested etcc.  I changed my number for a while but returned to the original two weeks ago and the calls started again. Today he cited the last 4 digits of my SSN, This leads me to believe that he has access to potential lenders because I was trying to get a short loan. In his calls today, he used an apparent cell phone (662 159-8080) and a landline (650 288-0525) in California. Depending on what info comes up, this number could be in one community or another. Since I do not live in California, I do not know if they are adjacent, connected etc

I work in an office at a hospital. A Harry Lawrence from the American Law Associates called my office and said he was looking for what I can best make out was "Danzello Sabertooth." They called once yesterday and talked to my officemate, who said there was no one there by that name. Then they called today and left a message. Then I called them and said that no one named  Danzello Sabertooth had ever worked here. Later we figured it was a prank and my officemate and I prank called them a couple times. Too weird!

Received a voice mail from 650-288-0525.  Gentlemen claimed that he was Hugh Matthews.  Spoke in broken English.  Called for one of our employees-threatening her that she needed to get a lawyer and wishing her a happy life.  Previous calls have been threatening, filthy language, calling our secretary nasty names.

"Michael Fuller" called our business, looking for a particular employee. I hung up on him the first time- he called back to berate me in his broken English. Very pushy person.

"Alex Brown" and two others  from AMERICAN LAW ASSOCIATES representing CASH ADVANCE, (who ever they are) have called my home and workplace. They were extremely rude to my coworkers.They  swore and call me names. Statements like "Who the hell are you to ask me if this is a legitimate law firm, we represent over 500 lawyers". I demanded that They send the request for money in writing, at which point Mr. Brown went Ape Sh-t on me screaming something I couldn't understand because his accent was so thick. I know times are hard for alot of people including myself.  But this is outrageous.
I am very concerned about my personal information being sold to anyone on the internet.
Are there any laws to protect consumers against such travesties?

These people have been calling me all day and will not stop they burpt in my ear and when I asked to speak to a supervisor he said oh are you going to fire me!!! Does anyone know who they are??? I filed bankrupcy so I know I dont owe anyone s***!!!

This caller (Heavy mid eastern accent) calls my employer multiple times a day. Threatening that I will be arrested from home or work. They have my banking information, social security numbers and address. This should be illegal. It's truely a scam and I'm sure they've received large amounts of money preying on people's fears. I've contacted my local police - the fbi- and FTC. I  hope these men/ women are caught and they go to jail. The threats are what bothers me- what kind legal office threatens people? Beware and watch your bank account and all actions. But don't give them any money- if they can't email or fax over proff of debt most likely it's fraud!

This is a scam and unfortunately it's happened to me many times- They seem to circulate about every 3-6 mths. The same foreign speaking man- who called himself Henry, said I would be arrested at work or at home. They needed my attorney on record or I needed to pay this money. Redicculous! They are rude and threatening. Real collection companies do not threaten you and when questioned they are more than willign to provide you with information- this man can not and will not produce anything that proves I owe this. Real collectors or agencies have to first disclose "That is an attempt to collect a debt..." I have reported them to the local police dept and the FTC. I just wish that somehow they could be arrested and go to jail. The threatening phone calls have got to stop and "wishing me the best of luck" if I chose not to call back"- really and they think that's how a real business is run. Beware- watch your bank account and debit transactions.

I just answered a call on my cellular phone from some man with a foreign accent from American Law Associates (ALC) claiming that there was some lawsuit against me for some money that I had borrowed.  He asked me to hold on to speak with his manager. Of course, I knew I hadn't borrowed any money, so I didn't bother to hold on!  I hung up my cell phone!  I then looked up the number on the Internet and came upon this thread of information about these ridiculous phone calls.  Meanwhile, the same man or someone from the same number, phoned my office line five times!!  On the fifth ring, I picked up my office line and told the person I knew who the hell they were and that I knew this was a damn scam.  Before he had an opportunity to breathe, I let him know that I had contacted the FTC and FBI, and alerted security in the Federal sector in the work in.  I told him not to call my FU*K#!G office again.  The phone calls stopped!  I believe that this should be brought to the attention of local media outlets.

They just left a message calling my and im pissed what is the info i need to repost them . with the same story but it sounded like a computer voice .
