Man called my cell phone 11/22 from a 408-580-1107 number with an Indian accent identifying himself as Either Devin or Kevin ( accent was bad ) Jackson. Left a voice mail message saying he needed me me or my Attorney of Record to return the call as this was an important matter, if I didn't return the call then all he could do was " Wish me good luck at the matter unfolds against me"  the number heft to call back was 650-360-4629. Phone numbers are not even the same area code.  They always call a few days before payday, after finding out that these type of calls are a scam and the callers are of Indian decent I started to recall all the other calls I had recieved in the past, they were all of Indian decent with anerican names, All of them.  How i found out that it was a scam is in a previous call the manmade a mistake and mentioned a payday loan company that I had used in the past but knew I had paid back.  When I called the Payday loan company to inquire that is when they filled me in on what was happening.  It's a shame that people are out there scaming, they will even go so far as to provided you with legitimate Law firms in their area.  If they would only use that brain power towards good instead of trying to get over on others, what a better world we might have.  I would like to catch these guys

You can probably block all calls from this number.  Ask your provider how.  

Or put the caller in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

b*****ds keep calling me from different numbers. In 4 days i got 2 seperate calls about 2 different amounts i hope they get caught its a real pain when ur at work and ur cell rings 5 or 6 6 times in a row and its something a stupid and wrong as this. the sherifs dept said they were probably in a foriegn country useing a US # and there was nothing they could do to them i would luv to

THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY YOU CAN'T BE ARRESTED FOR A DEBT.

They have called me twice and they tell me the same thing. I can't get any information from them. Just that the sheriff's office will be coming after me. Well I am working at the sheriffs office so maybe they won't have to go. This is a SCAM beware!

This number called me stating that I had an unpaid payday loan.  They were threatening that I was going to be arressted supposedly the sheriff is coming to bring papers to my house.  I called the sheriff and they have no record.

This is crazy!  I just received the same call and when I asked them to verify my social and give me the information to contact the court he hung up on me.  I know I never received that money as I have had the same account for years and searched my deposit history. I did try to fill out for a loan online, but never actually received the money.  He stated the same thing that the police were coming in the morning to serve papers for a court date tomorrow.  There must be something that can be done to stop this.

Same and above. If I owe money I would pay.  Payday Loan companies say they would not notify anyone this way.  SCAM

I got a call at work.Name my dearest friend and other confidential information. They said they were going to arrest me at home or at work...they had Mid Eastern accents and were very rude. I asked if I could put them on speaker phone and they tryed to intimidate me by trying to say that they were not affraid and go ahead. I then asked them to repeat what they had told me and they replied, "look we are not customer service this is a very important thing!" and I mentioned that I did not know what they were talking about. I then asked them to repeat wha they had told me and they said you had you chance.
I called my local police and sherrif and they gave me the number of the attorney general and all of the parties reported that this is a very large scarm and at one point or another they have hacked into or purchased a list from a data base for payday loans and gotten information from them. I am so angry and feel violated and just plain pissed!!!! Hope they catch the b*****ds!!!!

I got a call from a man names "Tom Reed" saying that I was going to get arrested but wouldn't tell me why. When i asked he would just say, "Don't act like you don't know." He said that I needed to confirm my address because I was going to be arrested. He told me I was a person of interest in my state but wouldn't tell me for what. I told him I was going to contact the police and he said that's fine because they know about the situation. When I called the police said there was no such warrant or investigation. i then got a know call that came up on my caller id as "911". It was someone claiming to be an Officer with the Mason County Police department named James Miller. I called the lawyer "Tom Reed" back and he said that it wasn't fraud and that I was going to be arrested. When my husband spoke to him he told him that I had taken out a loan with Cash Net and did not pay it back. I work for another payday loan company and know that we can not have anyone arrested for not paying us back. When my husband asked for his address so that our attorney could send him information, "Mr. Reed" said no. He then said f you to my husband and hung up. Both the "officer" and "lawyer" had indian accents.

they called me claiming to be a law firm saying that the police were coming to my house and my job in the morning to arrest me for not paying back a payday loan thru Cash Net. i have never taken out a payday loan in my life. applied once with my information. put a friend as reference that i met in january 2011 they said that name was on the app and i got the loan in the begginning of 2010. i didn't even know this friend then. i was told i could not pay it that it was too late then they changed to ok you have to pay RIGHT NOW not even 15 could pass before i paid. i went to the police because they said i had a warrant. they adviced me that there was no such warrant and that there could not be as it was a civil matter not a criminal matter. really pissed me off cause they called me AT MY JOB and said they would be serving them papers in the morning as well to let them know of my criminal charges. called them back and they didn't answer then they called me from a blocked number and i told them i spoke with the police and and that i was going to press charges for harrassment they told me "do what you want" and said to never call that number again. but whats even funnier was the names the gave were Eric Foster and Jeffery Anderson. They were of foreign decent from their accent sounded indian.
