This IS NetGear. They are shady and do business in an unprofessional manner. Have told them to place me on Do Not Call list but they keep calling. I'm calling the FCC to report them.

speak softly and say your volume must be messed up. they will turn up vol on their headset and then whistle blow their ears off.  scam saying he would sell me a very valuable anti hackgn service for my netgear modem .....dont even have one.

Keeps calling but no answer. Try calling back and it's disconnected.

If you don't stop calling this number I am going to report you to the phone company and the police for harassment .

I had same situation.....multiple calls/hang-ups per day.  I even tried to have my phone company block the number, but to no avail.  Finally spoke with customer service/tech support at Netgear and had them remove my number from their files.  Fingers crossed that this will work.

Netgear customer support calling to request service contract extension. I was so mad about them calling me every day and hanging up after I answered that I refused to renew & urged them to correct this automatic phone dialing service they use. But guess what? Another hang up call from them again today! They said various companies could also use this same auto dialing service.

So, I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks now, and they're increasing in frequency. Today they called me about 8 times, on the hour, if not half-hour. Same thing here, if you do pick up the other line just clicks.. Haven't tried calling back because of what others say. Usually I just ignore the call but today after 8 freaking calls I became really frustrated and was answering cussing just to hear the other line hang up immediately. I don't get it.. What's the scam/point?? How are they benefiting in anyway by just hanging up. So confused!

It is in fact Netgear - I called Netgear and they connected me to customer care and the supervisor (Edrienne Ching) in that department admitted it was Netgear.  I reamed her and Netgear out.  Wow - what a stupid company.

This number is a fax machine.  I can't get it to stop.  Ridiculous.

it's an international call being made via computer and using a forwarding system in CA.      my sister who lives outside of the US calls me this way often.

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM 650 385 0058.  NO ANSWER.  NON WORKING NUMBER.
IF IT IS NET GEAR I WILL NO LONGER BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THAT COMPANY.

It seems to be that this company keeps changing location in Northern California. Their location varies from time to time. I have received phone calls from this number from San Francisco, San Jose, Redwood City, San Mateo. Today I received 2 phone calls from them a minute apart. The first one, no one answered. The second time, it was someone from Netgear. This person was trying to convey me to renew my service contract with Netgear. I have told Netgear in the past that I would not renew my contract. Netgear would not take no for an answer. This time I told the Netgear representative to stop making harassing phone call. By the way, shortly after I hang up the phone someone called me again. This time it was an unlisted number. I  bet you it was Netgear again. What can we do to make Netgear from calling us?

OMG! I get calls from this number every day. Is it from Netgear? the number doesn't work. I tried your tech support number but it is constantly busy. does anyone know how to block it from verizon or iphone?

Stop calling. I have had 7 caalls in the last hour.

Same problem- repeated calls from 650 385 0058 after completing one year of Netgear Tech support. Not able to call back, number not in use. ANSWER:  CALL 800 448 1698 TECH SUPPORT. Tell them your issue once you get to a tech support guy and he will remove your number so that their outgoing sales team will cease calling !

I had a NetGear router and a 2 year unlimited service agreement with NetGear for all of my electronic devices (tech support). I no longer need the tech service and told the person who called from this number, but s/he keeps calling back and hanging up - if it's not NetGear direct employee, it is at least someone soliciting people to buy their tech service.

Key - apparently you did feel a need to get on this site and mouth off - you're way is just to be hateful and rude; they at least tried to let people know who called and yes it is NETGEAR. AND NO I did not get assistance, instead I keep getting calls every 2 hours, then they hang up. I know because I have dealt with them before. Drie and Karen - thank you for being kind - Key shove your hateful attitude where the sun don't shine. There jerk - how does that feel - now shut up.

For the last two weeks i have been getting at least 4 phone calls a day from this number. When I look at the caller ID, it just says "CA." I do not know if this telephone number is business or personal. All I know is that it irritates me. Who can we report this number so that the responsible party would stop making annoying phone calls?

I get the hang ups too. I'm betting its Netgeat gear head support. I used them once and they have been telamarketing me ever since then. Same San Fran area code anyway. I'm on the other side of the country so that is a pretty strong coincidence.

Today is 8-29-13, My answering machine with caller ID received a call from phone number 650-385-0058 and caller ID reads CA. Area code 650 is California - Pacific Time Zone.  They didn't leave a message.  This is a new caller to me.  People who do this need to get a life and do something usefull, like put out fires in Yosemite.

This number is calling me all the time, no voice when I pick up. "Not a working number" when I call it back.

We have received several calls from this same phone number.  Caller ID only shows "CA"' never a voice and the call simple hangs up after approximately 30 seconds.  Anyone figure out a way to get these to stop?

This number calls me sometimes daily - they never leave a message, and when I call back I get a recording, "you have reaching a non-working number."

Why would WebEx use this, and why wouldn't they leave a message?  I don't think it's WebEx.

I would imagine that both of these kind folks came here and were gracious enough to provide a report on this phone number in the hope that it would help others. I would also imagine that they did so without seeking your permission because it is not required. Frankly, Key, I'll come here every five minutes during the day and night, say whatever I wish to say and there is nothing you can do about it.

We continue to receive calls from this number and there is no one there.  I just tried calling this number and the auto response came on saying that the number cannot be completed as dialed.  Very annoying.  I want to block this number.
