I just got a text from one of my good friends that said, "Dial this # 650-388-1117 and tell me what u think".  I'm used to her forwarding texts, but this seemed bogus.  I didn't want to attempt calling and get charged with anything.

got a text saying "iheard you were having troubles.You should call this # 650-388-1117 theysaid they can help you asap!"  well i guess looking before calling is a wise thing today. surpisingly it was from a friend that i haven't talked to for like a year.

Has anyone called this number yet? I got a text message from my fiance that said, "Call me at this number 650 388 1117 love you". I would have called if I had not gotten the text when I was with her.

I just got it right now. So I always look up random stuff like this online & I'm so glad I did, I almost called.

Go to the website that K suggested. It lists all of these prank numbers. This text is actually sent by someone you know for fun. My sister just sent it to me as an April Fools Joke. These numbers don't just dial out and it's not a scam. Guaranteed that it's being sent to you by someone you know.

So think about this...your HOME# can get hijacked by some f*cking dirtbad and used as their caller I.D.

I responded to an AD for working from home at google.com...The lady called me 2-3 weeks after...I was at work...I told her to call me monday evening and she did but I was busy and no message was left, which I thought was unprofessional.  She then called after 9pm est, again no message left.  Finally I went to bed and low and behold she called again at 11:15pm est.  Telemarketers, collectors are not allowed to call past 9pm est, why would I want information at that late hour...She advised that I asked her to call me, and she was from UTAH when I became irate and asked where she was located.  I told her it was after 11PM and should not have called this late or left a message.  Her response: She hung up on me.  The call display number I called back was for a company Pyschriatic Hotline--humourous hotline--assuming there may be a charge to your phone..Sad in this economy that this has to be so untrustworthy and shady...

I didn't call since I was fortunate enough to come across this webpage.

Just spoke to a person that called from this phone number who said he was from Google responding to my interest in working from home by placing ad's for Google.  While I did look into this, I didn't understand why it would be from this phone number so went with the cautious side and said no.

The caller mentioned that he is calling from Google and I signed for making money from home. This was completely wrong and i never signed for such thing. When I asked not to call me, he simply disconnected the phone. It looks like the call was from some other country, possibly from India.

I too have started getting calls. It stems from the help wanted/earn mponey at home ad from a GOOGLE like company NOT Google.Anice trick is if you can get them to talk, blow a popilce whistle into the fone, then the joke is on them!

I have been getting 2 or 3 calls a day from this number, but never get to answer it.
When I tried to call it back, I received a message that said that it is an invalid number?

NUMBER CALLS EVERY  4DAYS I ANSWER AND THE "MYSTERY CALLER" HANGS UP.
RETURNT THE CALL, AND OF COURSE, THE LINE IS ALWAYS BUSY.

its a gag get over it jeeze. yeah its the funnyest one i have heard in a while so what jut call the number from a pay phone (i mean one of those things they use to have at gasstations) if your worried bout it

some chick called asking for my spouse saying they saw an ad on some singles website with this number a few months back. i just got my number about a month ago. weird.
