You reported them? 2 thumbs up for Janie! I have a list, & am reporting it--because these ppl are dangerous, vicious, & callous--& their victims tend to be either under-insured or undermedicated due to our hysterical legal system. If the cons were scaring folks off from bona fide illicit stuff that's life-threatening, I wouldn't care so much. But they're fave targets are professionals already in fear of being laid off.  I'm surprised to hear of only one suicide resulting from this blackmail/con ploy.

The outfits working a few years ago were much more polished, but the scam's all over the place now. Everyone's trying to cash in--from slick pros, to folks who can scarcely speak English. These posting sites are great, but try to fight back, & turn in these leeches!

Yep. At my last corp job (oh they LOVE us!), I wigged completely, & learned even w/a 150 IQ you'll wire $. Was only saved by a dear ex-boyfriend/turned friend who got me to calm down & analyze the con. Fear, not greed--is a far better way to milk cash than the old Nigerian Spams. If the cons hit folks using stuff that was deadly, I'd say, 'fine, scare 'em straight'--but they are not. They're taking advantage of our messed-up healthcare system. Report them! You should be pleasantly surprised.

don't feel like a fool.  I almost wired money to them and was also crying the first time it happened.  Over the last several years various people have called with the same scam and I reported the number to the real DEA.

I got the same call today. It was very convincing till I thought. The DEA doesn't warn you about arresting you. They just bust down your door and take you away. So as soon as I told her I have a friend who is a poice captain, she hurried off the phone.

Got the same call saying she had an arrest warrant but I could pay a fine.  I asked her to repeat her name and number then she hung up.  Wow, that was pretty brazen.

I received a call from a Lt. Martinez also a DEA agent, today. I also bought diet pills about 4 or 5 years ago online. I am calling the local police to find out what can be done to stop these people.

I received a call today.  They told my daughter it was the police.  The lady told me that if I did not get them $4500.00 dollars that I was going to jail.  I was not fooled, but it did upset me.

2 days ago I received the same call from a so called DEA agent. Same set up. I had ordered a sleeping pill 7 years ago, (it was fake too) This was a nightmare scam, money or go to jail asap. I have never even had a traffic ticket. We must stop these crooks, as they continue to ruin peoples lives. What is the real DEA doing about this? I am contacting every public news outlet I know to inform them of this scam. And they continue to use the same 650 telephone number? NEVER NEVER NEVER pay up front to anyone, no matter who they claim to be. I called our Sheriff (who came out) & the real DEA. They both said scam. It doesn't matter what info they have on you, they pray on your fear..and they sound so real, even a return call to this telephone number answers DEA. They wait until you are so scared, according to this crook, agents were blocks away, awaiting her call to arrest me for a felony. My only opition to not going to prison was paying $7000. (bail) now. When I calmed down, it started smelling like a fish when she changed the amount to $3000. I am heartbroken for those of you who have been taken by these crooks. Call any agency first, get the number out of the book, or on line, it would have saved me 2 hours of HELL.

Yesterday, I too got the same call from Lt. Lynn Taylor saying that they had intercepted a package that was to my name and address and that a warrant for my arrest and a warrant to search my house has been issued.  She said I must return her call immediately and the number she gave was 650-492-6088 Ext. 1824.
I was freaking out and crying not knowing what this was all about.  Nonetheless, based on information that the caller (criminal) had on me, I agreed to pay the fine to stay out of prision because back in 2003 I purchased pills over the internet. My case is a little different as I actually spoke to a "doctor" back then that did take my history, and I had to fill out paperwork regarding the history of my health.
In the end, I was scammed and paid $2000.00 with money being wired to Dominican Republic. The caller said the DEA had shut down their operations and that is the arrangement the DEA made with their country. I was informed to wire the money to the Clerk of the Deputy Officer named Maciela Reynoso Guzman who was in the Dominican Republic, the city of Puntacana.
I feel like a complete fool and victim.  Those reading this probably are saying "she got what she deserved". I can see why, but in my defense she was more than convincing.  See the attached link as one poor woman actually shot herself due to these criminals.
Don't be fooled by these criminals!

Received a voice mail today from woman named Lt. Lynn Taylor telling me she has a warrant for my arrest and warrant to search my home due to a package I received in the past and that I must call her back as soon as possible.  She was actually quite convincing- but it didn't make any sense to me so I went to google and found multiple scam alerts of imposters claiming to be DEA agents.  They harass people who have previously ordered diet pills online or by phone and extort money for supposed "fines".  The number she called me from is 650-492-6088, which is different from the phone numbers most people have reported her calls from.  Beware... its a scam! And be careful not to order diet suppliments online!!
