Automated call saying press 1 if you want your carpet cleaned.  I pressed 1, and a broad answered "Hello?" as if I called her -- you know these are set to ring some private person's phone that they hire to take the calls.  I asked her the name of the business, and she said Sunny's Carpet Cleaning.  I said I was on the Do Not Call list and this is an illegal call.  She promptly hung up.

They called, did not leave a message, hung up.

I get these calls constantly, and got one from these guys.  Instead of telling them it's illegal, I make an appointment to get my carpets cleaned, except I give them the address of some really out of the way address - way out in the boonies - that I get from Google Maps.

One guy called from his cell phone saying he couldn't find the house I sent hm too. I gave him fake directions for about 40 minutes - again from Google Maps - until he gave up and I told him I'd scammed him!  Only way to stop these guys.

They called me and after looking up you guys, I added them to my blocked callers list using my handy Panasonic KX-TGA931T phone that allows you to add phone numbers to a BLOCKED list.  (Also, I have hardwoods throughout.  Duh.)

And if you try to call that number anyway, you get the "de de de" beep followed by "we're sorry, the number you have called ....." So they MUST BE  a scam artist "business" or they wouldn't be hiding.
