Keep getting calls from this number, but they do not leave a message.  When I called back I get a recording that this number is no longer in service, or just leave a message.  No one every picks up.

THIS NUMBER CALLS US EVERYDAY SOMETIMES TWICE. . IT IS ANNOYING.  I NEVER ANSWER AND THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.  IF I WANT TO DONATE I WILL CALL THE CHARITY MYSELF.  LEAVE US ALONE.

Oh, another thing I like to do is fill out a s*** ton of credit card applications stating I have no job and put this telephone (or any annoying calls) number as my contact info. Since I state I have no job, I will not get approved for the credit card, and they can't say it's a fraudulent application (because I state I have no job). This will add the telephone number to the credit bureau's database, driving collections (if you have any) to this number and a variety of other sleezeball organizations to begin calling and harassing them. Evil genius at work!

This jack*** actually answers the phone when you call back. Must be an amateur. Anyways, called him back about a dozen times and just didn't say anything. After the second time, you could hear extreme irritation. I suggest calling him back a bunch of times and wasting his f****ng day. Fun stuff!

This is a scam caller. On my call they claimed to be some ficticious veterans group raising money. Like someone already stated, they use some guy's pre-recorded voice to begin talking to you. As soon as you start speaking back, the recording stops and that individual's voice recording stops... but that person quickly starts talking to you.

I challenged the guy on all of his b.s. and he hung up promptly.

I strongly suggest you keep him occupied with stupid questions or just threaten to murder him using your own imagination. That usually begins to affect their mind after a few days.

Same info as other folks reporting.  I am on DNC list.  Fed up with companies violating DNC.

No message, they chickened out and didn't leave one.  I did not pick up the phone to answer.

Received call at 4:06PM CST today.  caller id lists SSNFRNCSCO CA # 650-670-9952.  No message was left.  I am also on the do not call registry.  I am going to submit a complaint to them too.

I used to keep a whistle by the phone and blow it in their ears until someone said that if I damaged their hearing, I could be sued. Why are these scammers protected, but not us nice people who only want the phone for our personal use, not for idiots?

I got call but do not answer from calls I do not know. I never purchase any products or services from someone that calls me over the phone, and I only donate to a couple charities that I have supported for years. Period.

Recorded message (male) ID'ing  self as calling for some veterans organization I believe is bogus.Hung up on him  .

This number is one of the ONLY number that calls that I don't know.  As others have posted, I don't answer if I do not know the number and there is an answering machine.  If it's important, they'll leave a message....

They call at least twice a week....sometimes twice a day, but since they don't leave a message, I don't know if they have called unless checking caller ID.

At 2:12 pm 7/6/2013, received a call displaying SSNFRNCSCO CA, number  870-9952.  No one on the other end when answered.  It is always annoying getting calls like this.  I don't understand why the phone company can't stop callers like this.  I am listed in the no-call list.  It just doesn't seem to do any good to be on the list.

answered the phone and no answer. Could be test call (by computer software) to find out who is home and who is not for follow up telemarketing call.

Caller ID says San Francisco - 650-870-9952 They are "officially" blocked! Done!
Someone did say "hello" and I hung up on them. They are calling from the DNC List!

I've gotten two calls from this number, labeled on CallerID as SSNFRNCSCO CA.....I don't answer what I don't recognize, and they left no message.

If I'm expecting a call and  don't let the machine pick up an dI pick up before the machine comes on a ;lot of times I say hello and there's just dead air on the other end

Today I called star 69 and this 650-870-9952 came up.

I've had a new number for almost 2 years now and I'm on the national do not call list.

Caller ID just shows  the number.  I did not recognize the number, so I  let the answering system pick up.  No message was  left.

I never answer out-of-state calls that I don't recognize and this phone number has been calling me for at least three weeks, every day.  It automatically hangs up after 2 rings.  It's not fair that the general law- abiding public should have to endure these endless calls.

Received a call on  06/25 at 5:00 pm. After answering with Hello, I heard a click, and a Hello back. I instantly screamed as loud as I could, hoping to break this annoying habit of them calling over and over. If that doesn't work, I am sure I ruined his ear drums!

I received a call from 650-870-99he much went 2 a tele-marketer who solicited money for American Veterans Support Foundation. I told him that I would allow him to send me information, but I would not commit to a donation until I checked out what percentage of donations AVSF spent on administrative cost. The caller said that the amount for administrative cost was over 10 percent. He gave me phone number 800-270-0018 and said I could learn how much the of the donation is kept as administrative expense. He said the  donations are deductible (any donation with administrative cost up to 95% is deductible) He continued to press for a donation and after several times of my reply that I would not commit until I learned about where the money went, I hung up. I will contact the Better Business Bureau and Illinois Attorney Generals Office as to look at AVSF.

This number calls every day.  The caller ID shows SSNFRNCSCO CA.  They hang up as soon as a voice says hello.  Today, someone said they were collecting for veterans.  I told him to remove my number and hung up.  The number called 20 minutes later and hung up.

Called on 06/18/2013 at 7:21 PM.  Left no message.  Caller ID says, "SSNFRNCSCO CA."  Received a call from (650) 870-9954 on 06.14.2013 with the same caller ID.
