10am : they called a few times this week in the morning.  They never leave a message when I have the answering machine on.  When I call back I get "All circuts are busy now"!

Turns out they are a carpet cleaning service.  I made a mistake in calling them. Once they got my number on their caller ID. They never give-up!!

they have called several times a day with various different numbers on caller id the last was 650-711-0000  listed as xxxxxx I hit one to speak to a rep and told them to take me off their list and she hung up on me.  They  called themselves the carpet cleaning company.  Oh I too am on the don not call list.

These folks are related to the mortgage spam and 'Obama' spam calls being placed by dialers which are illegal to cell phones which are also illegal.  Only a matter of time before these folks are arrested and charged criminally.  They probably think this is a civil matter and they will pay a fine.  I think they will go to jail based on what I have heard.

Got a call from a foreign country for Best Carpet Cleaning and they refused to give me a US phone number. They hung up.  Got another call from and international phone number for carpet care.  So I made an appointment.  A van pulls up to my driveway with no signage. A guy steps out with a contract DANIEL CARPET CLEANING at 1888.229.9830.  I ask for the company phone number and he points to the contract. The contract has no business address. The phone number is no good.  His boss called to notify me he was going to be late, with an anonymous number.  The carpet cleaning equipment was shaky at best.  The Marin County DA office is investigating.  If you have any info on any of the companies listed here contact me.  I believe they are one and the same.  Oh, yea, in case Daniel Carpet Cleaning is reading this, I got his license plate number and so does the DA office.

Pretty much the same scenario as "Jim" describes.  Numerous calls.  If you wait for the prompt and immediately ask for their name, they hang up.  Then, I made an appointment.  The guy showed up on the wrong day and put his boss on the phone.  They spoke in what sounded like Hebrew to me, so I assume they are Israelis.

I scheduled a time for them to come out so I could tell them not to call. The original call said they would come 12-2 and call first. They showed up about 4:30. I asked for a business card. It showed Daniel Carpet Cleaning.

I then called this number. A women answered "Best Carpet". I asked to be put on their do not call list. The women who answered said she would put us on the exclusion list

Just got a call from 650-898-0321. Didn't catch name of the company. While on the call I have pressed 1 to scheule an appointment, after 10-15 rings I got someone on the other end of the line. When I asked to speak with someone responsible for these phone calls they just hanged up. I guess I should've tried to get some more information from that guy, but I was sleepy as this call woke us up. I have tried to call back on this number but it just clicks off. Our phone number was on the Do-Not-Call list for a long time, this is one of the very rare telemarketer calls that we got. I find this number on my caller ID constantly - at least 2-3 times per week.  I have tried to call the number back, but it just clicks off. We are on the National Do Not Call list, but, as others here have said, it doesn't seem to do much good.  I have read on several sites that this number belongs to Premier Carpet Care and I have read reviews of Premier that specifically point to the idea that they target their telemarketing to seniors - and that the actual service they provide is a rip-off. In my humble opinion, any company that does business in this manner should be investigated by the D.A.'s Fraud Unit.

I've had at least 4 prerecorded calls from the same carpet cleaning service. Googling the number shows this is not limited to the local area.  

They have given at least 4 names (at different times in the same call). I actually had somebody come out to
try to find out who they were.  The person came in an unmarked Ford Taurus
station wagon.  His estimate sheet said "Daniel Carpet Cleaning", with no
address and the same toll-free number in the pre-recorded message.  I asked
for an address, but he refused to give it to me.  Daniel Carpet Cleaning
does not show up in any local searches as being a real business.  The CID on
the prerecord is spoofed.

He called his boss and had me speak with the boss.  Both the boss and the
worker had heavy accents (Eastern European??).  The boss essentially
threatened me, stating that, "What you are doing is dangerous," and, "we
know where you live."

I keep finding this number on my answering machine without message. It is really annoying.

They called six times. Three of the times I pressed "1" and successfully set them up with bogus appointments at various addresses in my neighborhood. They're using the 888-279-6050 number these days.

I just got their call again at my home phone - recorded female voice from a carpet cleaning company. When I dialed the number, there's no ring and the line eventually clicks off. So much for the Do Not Call list.

My husband and I have received about 10 automated calls in the last 2 weeks from Premier Carpet Care trying to sell us carpet cleaning services.  
I just called the company to complain about this, as my husband and I are on the "do not call" registry.  The person who answered the phone denied that Premier Carpet Care is making these automated calls.
He suggested that I call the San Mateo District Attorney as someone is making these calls against Premier Carpet Care's wishes.  I just left a message for Chuck Finney, the San Mateo County Deputy District Attorney at (650) 363-4097.

They call repeatedly. I've asked to be removed from the list, but it doesn't seem to matter.

This company calls 2-7 times per week.  I am on the Do Not Call list, but this appears not to make a difference.

I've been getting called from"Best Carpet" for the last three months. Of course I am on the Do Not Call registry, but it doesn't seem to do much good.

You should go on to donotcall.gov and register your number.  You can then report them and if you follow through they will get fined.

I am getting tired of these calls. They call to sell their carpet cleaning service. I asked several times to be removed. They call twice as much since then.
