I'd tell them send me a copy for proof via us mail.. of course the mo is pretty clear with these scammers anyway  *laughs* Forgery doesn't go over very well MO.. and I'm sure the authority's would love to hear about it..

Extortion scamming is on so many of the threads now, its downright crazy! The burden of proof is on them regardless. And they break the laws all the way around.  FDCPA laws are pretty clear..

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

And yet, the FDCPA is the law and if you can't live with that,  then you shouldn't be in the fleecing  business.

It's difficult to claim the moral high ground when you have to crawl on your slime-oozing belly to get there.

We have a support organization in my town for the mentally disabled which, among other services, performs job placement. Often it's a menial but decent job like bagging groceries or washing cars. Evidently where you live you can all skip the outreach program and go straight to work for an illegal debt collection agency after a ten minute interview.

Ya can't fix stupid. People like Thia learn their rights so they don't get taken advantage of by people who lack morals.

Do you really think you're the first person we've seen that spouts off about how we need to pay our bills without knowing a blasted thing about any of our financial situations? Move it along.

"Regardless of improper grammar, which I'm entirely too stupid to care about using, it's SO sad that I am SO broke that I have to go online and shill to further my fraudulent activity in which I steal money from people by scaring them.

Also, I really hate when you all bring up the FDCPA, because, damn it, I count on people not knowing their rights so it's easier to scam them. Seriously, y'all, stop. It's making my scamming harder. Also: wah."

There, fixed that for you. You're welcome.

Surly, you were calling everyone a  *deadbeat* yesterday!

Can you imagine a boiler-room full of perched pigeons, taking like 7 year old delinquents, all day long?  Who?s letting these grammar challenged morons use a phone and go online?

Bullstuffing.
First of all, prove anyone here has taken out an online loan or owes one. You can't. For me, you certainly can't because mine went through legitimate lenders. I believe they're called BANKS.

Secondly, they're all paid off, some before they matured.

Third, you just admitted you had no intention of paying it back by accusing others of that intent then saying they probably had the same intent you did.

Stick that in your little pipe and smoke it, twit.

Have you ever heard of a period, a comma, a question mark, or an exclamation point ?

No. They don't have the right to be aggressive. The vast majority do NOT refuse to pay their bills.

No, of course you're not a shill. You're just a person who was SO HAPPY with the way this company illegally harassed you into paying back a loan that you didn't have verified that you searched for them online to share your fantastic experience.

I have no loans, no outstanding debt, no dog in this fight other than I hate seeing morons like you trying to defraud people. No stolen money or scumminess here. Too bad you can't say the same.

Shills REALLY DON'T think this crap through before letting their fingers and keyboards run away from them, lol.

I repeat: back to the boiler room with you.

(Oh, and as an aside? You may want to learn to correctly spell "thief," seeing as you are one.)

I can't understand how someone could write such a weird message with so much incorrect grammar and expect us to believe it!  Go back to your little cubicle in the boiler room!  AND it's a sad world we live in when pathetic shills try to blame someone for a situation that does not exist!!

Does the weird way of collecting involve calling people who don't have any debt?

Does it involve making threats to have them served or arrested? (A violation of the FDCPA)

You are accusing people of having their "bs catch up to them", what bs is that, not having any debt?

And finally, you call people here thieves for applying for loans they didn't pay back, yet you can't prove they even borrowed the money.  Now who sounds like the thief here?

the only thing you right about is the scare tactics but if you have a debt you need to pay it borrowing money and not paying it bck is wrong like i told the agent who called me i understand your motive but im not one of the ones trying to rip you off but there are people who get thiese loans with no intentions on paying them bck then play stupid when they get a phne call so they have a right to be aggressive in reality you stole money good or bad tactics if someone borrowed money from you and never paid it bck youd be upset too ...its a sad world we live in people have all type of excuses to justify what they do but you just as big scum as them ....

Yes, we - especially those of us without debt - shouldn't be mad about lowlife scum using illegal tactics to collect on alleged debts that a company refuses to validate). SILLY US.

(In other words: stupid shill, shush. :D)

What practices are off limits for debt collectors?

Harassment. Debt collectors may not harass, oppress, or abuse you or any third parties they contact. For example, they may not:

use threats of violence or harm;
publish a list of names of people who refuse to pay their debts (but they can give this information to the credit reporting companies);
use obscene or profane language; or
repeatedly use the phone to annoy someone.

False statements. Debt collectors may not lie when they are trying to collect a debt. For example, they may not:

falsely claim that they are attorneys or government representatives;
falsely claim that you have committed a crime;
falsely represent that they operate or work for a credit reporting company;
misrepresent the amount you owe;
indicate that papers they send you are legal forms if they aren?t; or
indicate that papers they send to you aren?t legal forms if they are.

Debt collectors also are prohibited from saying that:

you will be arrested if you don?t pay your debt;
they?ll seize, garnish, attach, or sell your property or wages unless they are permitted by law to take the action and intend to do so; or
legal action will be taken against you, if doing so would be illegal or if they don?t intend to take the action.
