never leaves a message try to call it back just rings asks a name and then hangs up

Received a call from this nbr earlier today ... they did not leave any message.
per notes seen elsewhere this is a MAGAZINE SCAM...

" This is a magazine telemarketing scam. Be careful. They will try to convince innocent people that they have an out standing balance on magazine subscriptions or that they provide you with magazines and had some kind of computer problem so they need to confirm you billing information. "

We get a call from 1-651-251-0286 almost everyday,
Sometimes they call and hang up, sometimes they call and there is background noise and they dont even hear that I picked up.

All I know is that they're "trying" to sell Magazine subscriptions, from a company called YMP from MN, (Minnesota)

They said that the "shipping rates" for our magazine subscription had dropped from 4.95 to 2.99, and if we would like to use their services to get the cheaper shipping rates.
B-S! they are a total scam, and NOT affiliated with the magazine subscriber in ANY way. And when we pry'd for more information they hang up.

They call every day, and every day I go thru the same thing with a different person, and they have no freaking Idea that I just Cussed out the person that had just called the day prior and told them to take me off the list.

We already get a 1 year subscription for FREE!! why would we need anything from them?!

they call for my husband and if i pick MY cellphone up they don't answer when I pick up only when he does.  651 251 0286  they are annoying and i have gotten calls at like 1 am and they call me like 5 times a day.

Called me while I was on the phone with a friend, didn't leave a message so I tried calling back... it rang and rang with no answer.

for the last 3 days this number is calling me and wont say any thing i called my phone company

That´s true, when I got charged on my statement it said the number you are supposed to call, they don´t even have a website. The number that shows on the statement is not even valid. I would like to know which magazines they say they have been sending?No contract no number..I think it is very misleading that they say they will reduce "your current subscription" and it is totally a new company SCAM I would like to see the legal statutes where is says that question category, plus you ask them so are you X your current company and they say YES!

They tricked me too.. They said they wanted to lower my magazine subscription , which I have I asked them, are you PG which is my magazine publisher. They actually took my credit card number, I changed since I lost it, and then they called me Sunday now 5 pm, and tell me that I owe them $400, and I don´t even know what´magazines they say are they really sending, haven´t seen one yet!

Your magazine usually calls you when you buy or do surveys online. Ive' been re'cving the magazines but i didn't know how i got it in the first place. I have been trying to call customer service to cancel and it just keeps ringing.

lol ya he told me that my subscription would be lowered and i asked for wut magazine and he said "the one u r reciveing" and i asked wut one is that and he told me to stop playin raindeer games with him and hung up....lol

A WOMAN CALLED AND ASKED IF I WAS RECEIVEING MY MAGAZINES, I TOLD HER I HAD NOT PLACED SUCH ORDER AND SHE HUNG UP.  I WISH THEY WOULD GROW UP AND QUIT BOTHERING OTHERS.  SERIOUSLY PEOPLE GET A LIFE!

started getting calls from this number yesterday.  Have gotten 3 already.  they never leave a message and i don't answer.  very annoying.

I just got a call from that number and it sounded like a kid,She said that she was calling about my magizine subscription.After I asked how she got my number she hung up.How do you block these numbers,because there are 4 or 5 of them.I have not given my number to anyone so how are they getting it?

Got calls from this number 3 times today.  Twice while I was in a meeting at work.  The third time I was driving home.  A female voice asked to speak to *my name* and not recognizing the voice and since they never left a phone number I began whispering.  "Oh my God, there are four of them and they are threatening us.  They have about 15 of us hostage" At this point is when I think they hung up.

I have receive a couple of calls from this number, once I answer and they told me something about a magazine and I told i didnt know what they were talking about and hung up. they called again i didnt answer so i decided to block them. people are such idiots they need to get a life. I already called the FBI on them for spam calls

The name of the company attached to this number is OVATIONS COMMUNICATION OF MINNESOTA.

I got 4 calls from this number today, after I got calls from a 215-383-5651 number for weeks numerous times a day. I finally picked up a call and acted interested, which turned out to be some "Budget Savers" company trying to get me to sign up for their savings coupons. I asked them to remove my name and number, but they asked for my "address confirmation" to do that, which I declined. Then today, I am getting calls from the 651-251-0286. I am suspecting they have referred my info. to this new line. They have many new numbers to go by. Here is the complaint web report on them:

Yeah I got a call from this number. When she pronounced my name wrong I asked who was calling. Then she said "your magazine" and I said which one and she nervously said that was the name of the company. She asked if I was still getting magazines, so I asked for which magazine and she was hesitating so I hung up on her.

Called while I was in class, left no message.  I called back over and over and there was no answer.  They called five hours later, I answered (cussed them out after no answer) and they hung up...... What the h-e double hockey sticks is wrong with these people?!

I have received a phone call from this number and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was hung up on. when I tried to call back no one answered. after 10 rings it hangs up on you. I am thinking that this my have something to do with a book I recently ordered from kevin treaudeau or however you spell it. I have been receiving many phone calls from solicitors since this purchase.

Calls at lest 15 times a month.says its a magazine publisher and they want to decrease the cost of my current subscriptions with them.  Wont tell me company name, who subscription is through, or anything.  they just keep fishing for my info and try to get me to agree to pay them with credit card.  What a joke.  Shouldn't someone be doing something about a***oles like this?

I get a call from this number every now and then now. In the past, however, I got a called at least twice of three times a day but when I called back no answer - IDIOTS.

Jordan just called me from this number asking about magazines, very unprofessional though.  Has anyone figured this out yet?
