Caller ID just shows : MINNESOTA CALL

 could be a telemarketer - could be someone looking for the previous user of my new phone number.  Either way: they are trying to hide who they are, so I won't be answering.  My phone - I use it according to MY rules.

I picked up and i heard someone, but then they hung up. They are calling twice a day now and it's annoying.

I got a phone call from these people trying to tell me that I had an outstanding bill for the journal.  They are scammers trying to get your info.  Don't give them any information no matter how legit they sound.

I have been getting a call from this number everyday and then they ask for Betty.  And then they say do you get the MIlwaukee jounral.  And it's a Minnesota phone number.  I'm getting very tired of these person.

Will someone take care of this phone number please.

This number calls 3 times a day.  I tried returning and no answer or machine picks up the call.

My complaints about this number are the same as - All of the above!

This person calls me sometimes 10 times a day.... im so annoyed! I answered in the beginning and no one responded when I said hello! I am so sick of this number...is there anyway to block a number on your cell phone?

Calling me more than twice a day, when I answer I get nothing but silence from the other end of the line.  I added the number to my phonebook as SPAM and no longer pick up, but they still continue calling.

I receive a Missed Call from this number 2-3 times a day; no one's there and they don't leave a message. Annoying that I have to take the time to delete all of these calls from my Received Calls list.

they call me at least three times a day everyday,and when i pick up the are machine noises, never picked up, and never do they leave a message! ANOYING

this number, sometime calls 8 times a day. ive picked up and its never a person its like a machine, but there is no recording. its almost like when you call a place and they are faxing something and you get that dial up noise. theyve been calling for almost a year now.

This is a telemarketer based out of St Paul Minnesota calling for the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel.

Someone from this number is calling me.  I do not answer and they do not leave a message.

Calling 2 times a day within an hour.  I never answer.

They continually call me. I just moved from Nevada to Elkhorn WI. I did a "change of address" with the post office - and since then I receive call after call from the Journal, from the DISH network and every other service you can imagine.I'm trying to figure out if they got my details from the postal service, or local phone company (once I got a number here) or both. Any thoughts? I will file a complaint with the FTC because they will not stop calling me and it is really disrupting my work day.

I also live in Milwaukee and I am plagued by these phone calls.  It is Milwaukee Journal Sentinal.  I cancelled my subscription over a year ago and they still call really frequently.  I have asked them to stop calling politely and they wont.....

Just got the call, didn't answer, but I think they called me a few months back already (and I told them to keep their useless paper).
Canceled my JS subscription 7 months ago.

How about everybody who tells them not to call anymore and still gets calls, or in any form believe this is harassment, complain with the FCC:

I get called everyday by this number for the last few months, I too canceled my journal sentinel subscription and live in Milwaukee. Ive told them numerous times im going to iraq and wont need their paper but they still call.

I answer the phone , and within seconds the caller hangs up.  I get these calls about four times daily

It's the same for me as all these other posts.  I live in Milwaukee.

ATTN MILWAUKEE, there was another number , same area code, it's possible that it's the jounral sentinal's marketing department which is apparently in MN, call their local number and ask  they stop calling

I'm in Milwaukee and received calls from the number three times today...each time with no voicemail message left.  I've tried calling back, but no response!

Same here. Live in Milwaukee area. This number calls me at least once per day, every day, without a message being left. I called back today and it rang for about 12 times then disconnected me. I also had a Milw. Journal subscription and have cancelled it about 3-4 months ago and that was around when these calls started. Thinking about answering it next time. Getting sick of all the BS calls.

I just googled it and it says St. Paul, MN. hmm, you say the Milwaukee Jounral Sentinel. I wouldn't be surprised since I just cancelled my subscription.

Yes, I am in Milwaukee and yes it is the Milwaukee Jornal and I have spoken with them and they try to push a bit hard I just tell them I don't wish them to call me and they do.  Fuc k em

I'm near Milwaukee as well.  Someone else reported this # in the past and said it's the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal calling.  Not sure, since I never answer.

I get the same thing, their calling my cell phone number 3-4 times daily, very annoying and sick of it.  When i answer "Hello", i get dead silence.   very annoying.  searing the area code on the computer it told me that the calls is coming from shoreview MN.
