Caller id 651-288-2880 (recently rec'd 3 calls from this number) however this time left a voice mail message automated voice message if want to be placed on do not call list press 1 or call 866-616-5069 if I wish to speak with someone.

I received a call from 651-288-2880.  I answered the call but they didn't say anything.  I kept saying "hello, hello," and after about a minute of silence, they hung up.  Totally annoying!!!

i get calls from here they know my full name and act professinal but you can hear talking i the backround and the women is very rude

That's exactly what happened to me too!, cancelled my subscripion to Pioneer Press because of lousy service and started getting these calls almost immediatly, I will never give them my business again.

Really.  St. Paul, Pioneer Press?  They would call 2 - 3 times a day at multiple times? I did call it back, and it said it was a utility company, and that not to worry, they would try me back in the future. ARGH!  This just started Monday 07/23.

two missed calls each day last 3 days. Called back, and receive some VM that it is a public utility. I have no idea, but just started this week.

I put these kinds of numbers in my phone book and put the call block on. That way my phone never rings and they get the vm right away.. mwahahahaha
Yes it is a marketing agency trying to sell you a pioneer press subscription. I already get the pioneer press. But they keep calling....

I keep getting heavy breathing calls from 651-288-2880. They never say anything, just breathe. I did some research and it comes up as a cell phone in the Saint Paul, MN area. If it is a business maybe they should call from a legit business land line and use their grown up words.

Just missed a phone call and called back twice, on the second call, I left a voicemail for them to never call me again. Same thing. A Marketing Resource.

I live in Minnesota...DID (just recently) cancel a newspaper subscription...so these goons must handle accounts for various newspapers.  Next time a call comes in from their number I'll punch in my (phone company) code to block their calls!

I recently canceled my St Paul Pioneer Press newspaper.....

Ist been almost a year now and i am sick of getting calls from this number. at this pint i willing to take the time and file a compliant. I have gotten 6 call in the last 24hrs, Ridiculous

It is the St. Paul Pioneer Press or the Star Trubune if you live in Twin Cities.  I have asked to be removed and the calls only get more often.  1 - 2 times a day now.  And most times they never answer if you pick it up.   I really don't think I should have to invest extra on my phone bill for call blocking - but it looks like the only alternative....

I get a phone call from this number a few times a week.  Today, they've called me 3 times.  After finding these messages, I called the number back out of curiousity.  At first I thought no one would answer but then an automated message about it being a marketing company picked up.  I have no subscriptions to any magazines anywhere.

Tired of receiving calls from 651-288-2880 at all times of the day. Am on "No call list" and don't live anywhere near AZ.  Whoever is calling me from 651-288-2880, you must stop your annoying calls.

Call #18 - 30 minutes after I tell them DO NOT CALL they call again.

And then 30 minutes later I get another call toll free from unknown number (877-944-9744) who I suspect is PIONEER PRESS LOCATED IN ST. PAUL MINNESOTA.

288-2880 is a call center located in South St. Paul, MN.

Call #17 -  Hides behind UNKNOWN CALLER on ID.   I picked up and a person asked for me by first name.  Revealed they are from Pioneer Press calling about my subscription.  Informed them to remove this number and I will be filing a formal report with DNC and Attorney General.  They have been calling twice a day for a month and have not left a message.  Why hide your identity?  Had issues with my newspaper delivery and due to several errors.  Cancelled the delivery and happy to be divorced from any relationship with Pioneer Press.  Their policies and procedures are unprofessional.  Phone harassment is terrible.

WHats the deal?  You call my number, but then don't leave a message.  I guess it can't be that important.   DON'T CALL AGAIN!!!!!

I received this call a number of times and nobody was there.  I never subscribed to AZ paper, I live in WI.  I would love to know who sold my number!  Getting crap calls all the time lately!  I keep blocking them.

We are receiving one or two calls  a day. We have told them to quit calling. We cancelled our St Paul Pioneer Press delivery and that is when these started.  Very maddening!

After all the phone calls I called the AZ Republic and was able to speak to a manager (Jim). He indicated to me that the paper has a contract with a Minnesota company (651), that markets the paper to previous newspaper readers. He could not tell me why the robo calls are directed to people that are not in Arizona or do not have previous business with the paper. I think that the marketing company is doing a diservice to the newspaper by all the unsolicited calls to folks that have no relation to the paper, but that is for them to resolve. The manager told me that they would not call my number any more. We will see.

They have been calling my work, I called and left a message that I would like them to take us of there calling list because they call us like 5 times a day... Annoying...
