Person was rude, forceful. Stated it was a tax deductable donation.
I looked it up and this is what I found...
Some new calls are making the rounds raising money for charity, but before you donate, a warning from a Channel 6 News viewer who did some digging on the organization and was shocked by what she found.
Judy Janing of Omaha was soaking up the beautiful morning with her grandson Carter. Recently, some phone calls have been interrupting their time together. She's been getting two to three calls a day. ?It came up as a telemarketing firm that was listed as Breast Cancer Relief Foundation.?

Judy looked up the company's number on the Internet and found pages and pages of consumer complaints. ?People who offered to donate $10 were told they didn't accept less than $50."
Judy kept digging and even pulled the charity's 2008 tax return and was shocked at what she found. "Of the $38 million they raised, they donated $211,000 to institutes in the U.S., everything else went overseas as non-cash donation."
Channel 6 News contacted the Breast Cancer Relief Foundation, based in Louisiana. It said it shares some of Judy's frustrations. It does contract out to a telemarketing firm, which can take 60-90 percent of your donation as a fee and there's nothing illegal about it.
The Better Business Bureau recommends you donate to charities that spend no more than 35 percent of their resources on fundraising. Judy says she's changing the way she donates and hopes others will, too. "They need to check things out before they donate since maybe six percent of what they're giving is actually going to the charity."
The Breast Cancer Relief Foundation admits telemarketers take 60-90 percent of your donation as a fee, but if you donate by mail or online, 80 percent of your donation goes to breast cancer research.

RESIDENCE. WHAT A WASTE OF THERE AND MY TIME. APPARENTLY THEY
ARE ON THE RECEIVING AS SOME FININCIAL GAIN..WHETHER THEY ARE
SUCCESSFUL OR NOT. WHAT A LOUSY WAY TO SPEND YOUR LIFE SITTING
IN A BOX TALKING BASICALLY TO YOURSELF. THEN GO HOME AND YOUR
