Karen...how about acting human.the tens unit requires leads to stick on your injured place(s) for some pain relief.computers arent toys.the empi folks were truing to send you supplies.somebody in your family gave the numbers for them to call.with your attitude i hope you hurt like hell and empi wont send you supplies.

I get supplies from them also. I have never had any problems. Very nice people. I usually don't answer my phone if I don't know the number; they usually leave a message but not always

Sent my EMPI unit back and they still call, New Year's eve yet!!! How would I need supplies if I don't have it anymore! It has been a curse getting that TENS unit with their phone calls. Lose my number!!!

This number is from EMPI, who calls about replenishing supplies for a electronic sequential stimulator that I had been given after Ortho surgery.  They usually send me an pre-competed order form every month that requires my signature and to be sent back before try send me the supplies.  If I don't send it back, I usually get a call.  They don't leave messages until it has been a few months since I received supplies.  They send so much at a time that I don't go through all of the supplies sent in a month!  

I'm not sure if they provide any other medical equipment for people, but the above is just my experience with them.  They are never rude, and honestly I'm glad that they don't leave messages every time they call.  It's likely some poor bloke who is just given a list of phone numbers to attempt to contact to have people get more supplies, but thankfully isn't obligated to leave messages.  My suggestion is that if the frequency of the phone calls annoys you, just call them and tell them to stop calling, and that you want to stick to the mail-order method of obtaining your supplies.  It doesn't bother me so much because they don't clog up my voicemail, and at least someone out there has a job at a legitimate company that provides a valuable service to people that have received medical equipment from them.  They thankfully aren't your run-of-the-mill telemarketers!

They are probably calling your phone because you put it down on your medical form for them.  Your daughter may be the back up phone # listed with your medical records.  

I have had a call from them before and it's just about your supplies.  If the insurance purchased the unit, then you are able to get supplies.  

Call 800-328-2536 ext 8455 and ask to be removed from the call list of you don't want any supplies for your unit.  That might help.

The caller is EMPI. They are a medical supplier for the replacement pads for the TENS unit. Unfortunately they never leave a message and called frequently. I only figured out who they were when I found 800 Notes. I asked that they stop calling and that I would call them when necessary. They honored my request. This is the first call in year or so. I'm not complaining. The TENS unit provides a lot of relief.
I'm listing this as a event reminder rather than a sales call because the pads do need to be replaced at a regular interval.

this company has called my cell phone several times not sure what the name of the company is but after reading some of these replies now realize that I too have gotten a TENS unit through Physical Therapy, they left a message once but the message accidentally got deleted as I thought from hearing the message it was some type of marketing company..I am glad I looked this up and am going to call them to try and get to the bottom of this as they have called in the middle of my sleep time as I work nights, so hopefully my sleep wont be disturbed again....will keep yall posted.....

I just got a call from that number, called back using the info they gave me. They called to see if I had any questions about the tens unit I received, to let me know that the cost is subject to my insurance copay & deductible, and asked me to call if I need supplies or have any addition questions. Jamie was very pleasant to talk to & did answer my questions promptly.

Wow.  Let's not jump to conclusions that they're malicious.   These folks are EMPI.  They're a good company, trying to help people that might not get out of the house regularly (those with physical disabilities/illnesses.)  Customer Service people for legitimate companies work hard and do not have a personal vendetta against you, nor should you against them.  

Sounds like you chose to do business with them, so they have a legal right to call you.  Consider as well that these folks might work different hours than when you called and/or they may have been having telephone and/or voicemail issues.  Plus, they're employees are probably like all of the rest of us with jobs, who are expected to do the job of 2-3 people at once.  A good way to get to speak to someone would be to answer when they call.

Yep.  That's why they are calling me. Funny thing is, I did NOT buy the TENS unit and it was the PT group encouraging me to buy it.     They left a HUGE "case" number for me to write down.

Yes, this is a medical supply company for EMPI. I too have a TENS Unit. I called them, and they were just returning my call. Very nice person that called me.

Harassing or unwelcome phone calls from 651-415-9000?
My insurance purchased for me a tens unit and cervical traction unit.  They paid for it.  Now, for no reason they call both my cell and my daughters cell phone.  (one right after another)?we answer, and nobody replies??.this happens every day.
I attempted to call them back at the 651 # and their EMPI web site 800 number.  No manned  phones, circular queuing system without a pick up!!!!!

Follow up:  Yes, it is certain ally  EMPI.  I tried to call them back and was chased round and round with their automated circular never ending, for lack of real people, "customer service" queuing system.  Nobody picked up.   I searched them and found another number 1-800-328-2536......Still another "unmanned" circular, never ending queuing without a pick up.

I am not certain who they are as they have not answered either phone when we answer.  However, as above,  I am familiar with EMPI (so it must be them) and about 60 days ago, through my insurance I received a tens unit as well as a cervical traction unit.  They have all insurance information, and I have been told by my insurance that they have been paid.  They call both cell phones in the house (I don't give out our home phone), one right after another, and they do not answer when you pick up.  Not sure how to get rid of them.

EMPI medical suppliers. Didn't pick it but she left a message explaining who it was and what it was for. If you requested or you Doctor requested for you a medical eq. like a Tens Unit they will cal you to make sure you got the equipment and they are not charging you for something you didn't received.

Company is EMPI; found out they have been calling to set up monthly deliver of medical supplies a family member.

They make medical devices.  If they call you you probably have one of their products and their following up with it.
Called today,  Left message at first.  When answered they stated who they were who they were looking for some information about insurance payoff, and made sure it was working and were happy with its use.

Call type leaves no option for this kind of call, therefore left as unknown.
I would consider this type of call to be very valuable customer service, and greatly appreciate it.

Called my cell around 10 times in a row.  I have never done any buiseness with them before and really not sure  what they sell. Called the 800 number on their website and talked with someone in their IT department.  The 615 number called while i was talking to her  so she took my number out of their list and was very pleasant to deal with.   So far no more calls.
