I spoke with a John Black regarding an unpaid auto loan.  I called the credit union to discuss this, but they told me I have to speak with CU Recovery (john black).  They also said if I don't pay the bill they are going to sue me.  After looking into it further I found out I would be responsible for their attorney's fees and court fees.  Only because i didn't want to pay for THEIR attorney to sue me, I decided to pay the bill.  John was okay to deal with, but i can see where someone might have a problem with him.

Agree.  I made arrangements to pay off a second mortgage I know I owe and they have been nothing but courteous.

This is a Credit Union Collection Agency. Curtis Oswald is the caller I'm getting. Has called twice so far, both times I was at work. Haven't yet spoken with anyone.

This is CU Recovery.  I rec'd an anomymous handwritten letter asking me to call a toll free number and to enter a code with a very important message.  I thought it was some sweepstakes thing so I did.  When I entered the code, all I got was 2 minutes of music and no message.  Clearly, they were simply lifting my telephone information.  Sure enough, 2 days later, I started receiving calls from a Rick Malone who did not identify what company he was working with. Had to trace his numbers to figure out in was CU Recovery.  Don't fall for the same trap!  If you owe a debt, pay it, but you don't deserve to be hunted down this way.

This man, John Black was completely nice at first, but then turned abusive and talked to me like I am an idiot low life. I realize they're legitimite, but please. Being abusive isn't going to help.

CU Recovery can kiss my a** and get in line like everyone else I'm broke.  I haven't work in over  7 months I lost my job due after a layoff of 1000 of us at one time. I lost my apartment because unemployment  it's just enough to eat ones a day for gas for job hunting car insurance  and a room on the seedy side of town. Get in line losers you don't scare me with your scare tactics my life sucks so much that I hope your threats are real so I can tell the judge to put me in Jail because I can't pay, at least that way I'll have 3 meals a day vs 1 meal now full medicar coverage  and a place to live for free. you want money? well find another way to make money stop buying accounts from credit unions that you know you'll never gonna recover. This is CU Recovery...a ligitimate collection agency that collects for Credit Unions.  My daughter had a car repossessed and they took over the collection.  They have always been accomodating and friendly to us, as we have tried to work with them.  She knows she owes the money, it's just taking her a while to pay it all off. As long as she keeps making payments and talking to them, they have never been high pressure or mean.  If you owe something...you need to pay it!  If you don't owe them, ask them to quit calling you.

Just recieved a call from a belligerent collector - told him it was a wrong number- and he questioned my voicemail message as being for someone named Brittany...  he would not believe that the number was my personal cellphone.

The person name who keeps calling is Jack Mitchell. Beware sometime they call with a privite number (*69). This company collects for credit unions, I think we need to send a strong message to this number or Just call the police to have the calls stop coming.

this number keeps calling me and never leaves a msg and there is no id except for the number so much for being on the no call list.  No answer when I try to call it back.
