Multiple calls each day, doesn't leave a message, doesn't respond when you pick up. We called the number back and told him to stop calling us.

Hi people! If they continue to call us we should report to FBI? we should get a lawyer to sue the company or whoever that person is ?

651-538-4128 This phone number called me at least 5 times a day. They are very bothering me! Why don't the police stop them? Sometimes I need to keep my phone on to know time but they keep calling. They are stupid people!

Pioneer Press trying to obtain customers
Les 2012-02-21 22:05:26 Unknown
Yes - Pioneer press - you answer and nobody is there - I made a HUGE mistake a few years ago buying a subscription which I cancelled - they have called from this # and others for the last two years now....they ALWAYS hang up whenb I pick up the phone - it is getting to the point I may call the state Attorney General to see if there is anything that can be done.

I have been receiving calls from this number regularly, despite my continual asking of them to stop calling my cell phone. I've told them how I sue companies for doing exactly what they are doing (which I do), but they continue to call. I am currently looking into bringing legal action against this company. If you are interested in joining, leave a message with your contact information at 612.223.6767.

I just received a bunch of calls from them tonight so I called them back. It's a call center in Las Vegas for the Pioneer Press. My paper service stopped recently so I started it up again. Thursday, Friday, Sunday for 1 year. $13. Yup, $0.25/week. Nice deal. I've been getting this deal for the last three years now. They seem to call right after my subscription expires which is nice as to take advantage of this deal, you can't be a current customer of PP. Good Luck!

My father in law gets calls from this number constantly. No one there when you answer. I called back and got a recording about a local newspaper. I waited for the next available agent. When they answered I told them I wanted our number taken off of their list. The agent immediately took out number and said he would take it off their list. Unsolicited telemarketers have to do take your number off their list if you request recieve no more calls from them. If they call again we can report them. I also put our number on the national do not call registry. If you get a call from these people you can call them back and let them know you want off their list.

Got a call, answered, they hung up. Called them back, it's Pioneer Press, told them to take my name off. Hopefully it stays off.

If you call the number back, at first you will be put on hold. Then a recording will come on and give you the option of being put on their do not call list. If they have done business with you, "technically" they can keep calling until you tell them not to. Getting on their do not call list is actually pretty simple. It's a matter of pressing one, waiting a couple seconds while they register your number, and that's it. You never even have to speak to anyone.

It is the Pioneer Press' marketing group. They call me all the time when I stop the paper. They are relentless.
ccm 2012-01-18 21:08:46 Unknown
I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer, no one says anything. Upon calling back I get an automated recording saying that I can select "1" to be placed on the "do not call list". That doesn't work....still getting calls.

Same number calling today a couple times. No name or ID. My newspaper subscription recently ended. Guessing it is same as callers above identified. Does not leave a messsage.

They have been calling me everyday for 1.5 weeks, sometimes 2-3 times a day, very annoying
katie 2012-01-15 17:21:14 Unknown
Thank you for letting me know this is the pioneer press calling. I never answer calls I don't recognize and this number never leaves messages so it was getting annoying.

I have received at least 1/2 dozen phone calls from this number. Shows up as "Marine On Sa MN" on caller ID. Man calling from the Pioneer Press newspaper about a special new years special. I told him one of the first phone calls that I wasn't interested. He kept calling. I answered the phone again today and told him to take me off of the list. We'll see.

They call constantly! Finally called back and they answered as Crossfire Newspaper Group. The operator said she would take me off the list but then started her sales pitch. I apologized for speaking over her and said I knew her manager might be listening in and that it was her job to keep trying to sell to me, but that she and her supervisor should rest assured that it would save them time and money to put our number on their no-call list. .. We were nice to one another, but I got the feeling she could neither add me to their company's do not call list nor tell me that she couldn't. So I called Crossfire directly -- (888) 852-7923 -- the woman who answered didn't seem to be a regular sales person and at least gave me the impression that she took us off the list. We'll see.

Keep getting calls from this number and they leave no message. I get calls at odd times for a telemarketer. Got one today @ 3pm, New Year's Eve!
Mad as hell 2011-12-30 21:07:42 Telemarketer
The do not call list is a sham. I have reported this number a number of times and nothing ever get done. I think the telemarketers are paying off the government and we are led to believe the government is trying to stop the harassment This time I demanded that they send me verification of disciplinary action taken against this caller. We need legislation making it a law that telemarketers must pay a fee of over a dollar a call that is credited to the number they are calling. That is the only way this will be stopped..

They get my vm and hang up. Sounds like telemarketing in the background. I'm on Do not call, so Idon't know how this happens.
Jim 2011-12-22 00:53:27 Unknown
thanks - yeah, they keep calling me too. Three times today, no message.

This is a really lame telemarketing game. I got two calls from them today, answered the phone, and got dead air. So I called them back, first there was a recorded message saying that the call was made by "your local newspaper," then a few seconds later a live person picked up with an immediate statement that the call was placed by the Pioneer Press. Before I could even say a word, she then went into a quick sales pitch for a newspaper subscription.
