These people have been calling me at my work place!!! unbelievable! They've been calling for the last two days at least 4 to 5 times a day! I got no debts to collect, I know my credit report is fine, I checked it recently, it is a scam, don't give out any information. When they call, we just hang up immediately.

Called home phone wanted 2 speak 2 my husbands exwife of 15 yrs called her by her correct last name now! Strange thing is phone is listed in my name not my husbands. Said he must have old info! Told him we've only had this # 4 @ 6 months & they've been divorced 4 15 yrs. When I called back answered the phone with a simple hello! Wouldn't tell me who he was with or what he wanted! Who are these people?

I think they're a school of sharks. Remember: Don't cross the streams... it could be very bad.

These people are PHISHING for your information......HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. These scam artists tried calling me about debt that I NEVER had. I get my credit report and scores on a monthly basis, and know that none of my accounts have ever been in collections! The person was PHISHING for information. He went from calling about a Citi Card to a Discover card.....Wrong, try again! Then he was trying to get me to give out my cell phone number, address, and my full legal name, but unfortunately for him I gave out NO information and called him out on his phishing scam and hung up on him.
He asked the following questions. Sound familiar?:
"On February 11 I mailed you out a letter did you get our letter about an attempt to collect debt?"
"Funny, I called your cell phone and the person on the voicemail message sounds just like you. Does your phone number end in 1234?" Defensively people would want to give out their correct cell phone number BUT DON'T GIVE IT OUT!
"Is your name John D. Doe?" They may have your first and last name but they do not have your middle initial, and they will probably just make up one with the same letter as your last name.
