This number shows as C. Barsten.  I blocked one of the numbers from this place and today I got another call from a different number.  Someone with a southern accent started talking about the rough storms we've had recently (which we haven't in this area) and wanted to do a roof inspection.  We got a new roof last year so no need.  I hate these calls.  Whatever happened to "no call"????

why is someone able to call from a number that is disconnected or n longer in service

Called but left no message. When I called back, the recording said the number had been disconnected.

Caller I.D. said C. Barsten.  No message left.

Someone from this number keeps calling and not leaving messages and then when I actually answered it, the person hung up.

Someone called from that number asking if I needed any home repair following a storm the previous evening.  No name, no identifier on the caller ID..... obviously another STORM CHASER    

Beware

Received a call from this number to our place of business.  I answered, "Good Morning, [Business Name]." The caller said, "Well, hi!"  
I responded, "Hello."  
The caller replied, "Hi there!"  I said nothing, and the caller said, "Is this [Business Name]?"  
I said, "Yes, it is." And then he hung up.  Creeper.

Would like to know who this is as well.
