THis number keeps coming up, and no messages are ever left. I think it is the pioneer press.

I've answered this call three times and nothing.  Do they have slow "auto-dialer" so I'm not being connected to a person or is the person hanging up?  In either case. I won't be answering it again.  I might even consider a Sunday only subscription to the PP, but this daily call with nobody on the other end is very annoying.

Do you have a cell phone?  If so give that number to the school and turn off your land line while you are trying to sleep.  

If the pest is calling your cell phone block his number.  Your provider can tell you how.

I am so tired of this number calling me, everyday and all times of the day!  Even on Sundays and after 9pm!  I work nights and sleep during the days and keep my phone on in case of emergency with my son at school!  This is so irritating, they wont quit calling!  For two months straight, they haven't stopped!  STOP CALLING ME!  I don't want anything you have to offer, EVER!!!

Whoever this is you that keeps calling and then not responding when the call is answered, STOP IT!

I haven't received the Pioneer Press for over three years, and I haven't even lived in St Paul for just as long. But every now and then the PP gets some bug up their a** and tries to win me back (read: harass) by calling relentlessly in a week or so period. This just started again a few days ago. In the past I've tried calling them (rarely got through) and when I did the call recipient was extremely distant and aloof, almost as if they weren't supposed to reveal their motive. I've threatened legal action, but to no avail. My latest trick is simply blocking the number they've been calling from.

Basically, the Pioneer Press is run by complete morons who think they can harass former customers into resubscribing. I can't really fathom how that strategy could ever work, but they use it. My advice is to boycott the PP entirely. Tell your family/friends, nobody wants to be harassed.

I've been dealing with the PP and their telemarketing for months.  I get calls - first from the St Paul number, then from numbers all over the country.  It's as if they don't get a response when calling locally, so they farm it out to a telemarketing firm.  No messages.  I've asked them, in no uncertain terms, to please remove me from their lists, and to never call me unless it is to say that they won't call again.  Nothing.  I don't answer that number, or any other number I don't recognize.  I will be sending another email to them, letting them know that they had best take me off their list.  

I used to still pick up the paper from time to time on my own; I won't even do that much now.

Thanks for all this info. I don't respond to people who don't leave a message.  We've been getting the PP for a year now for free.  Unlimited trial offer perhaps?  But now I know not to answer the calls or worry about who they are coming from.

Please remove us from you call list.  952-891-5609.  And if you feel the need to call other people, please leave a message.  It is very annoying to keep receiving a call from this number and not know who it is.  From other posts, I believe you are the Pioneer Press.  Thank you.

I've gotten phone calls from this number plus a several other numbers, and every time I Google the number, it ends up being Pioneer Press. It's ridiculous. I let my subscription lapse because I had too many delivery problems, and they've been calling me relentlessly ever since. Not a good strategy to win back business. So annoying.

I think this PH# is connected to tele-marketing for Pioner Press.

It took awhile to look up who keeps calling our home phone and doesn't leave a message.  
Weekly calls from this number???
