No message but did come to a do not call cell phone that has never been list.

they were calling me to subscribe and I kept saying no.  Suddenly the paper started being delivered.  Now I have to call and make sure they don't try and bill me for it!  grrrr

The exact same thing happened to me!   When I called the paper to question the bill, they acted like it was a mistake, obviously it sounds like a common practice!   At that time, I also got put on their do not call list-that really worked! Must be some law against just sending paper and then getting billed for it! I filed a complaint.

It's a pioneer press telemarketer. Very annoying. They call constantly, and never leave a message.

Got the same call today. When I called back I actually got a live person who gave me the whole sales pitch and I finally just had to say NO THANKS! We will see if they call back. Same thing happened a few months back!

I just cancelled my subscription to the Pioneer Press this weekend. Today, I have received numerous calls from this number. Coincidence?

We are getting an average of 10 calls a day from them right now.  Pissing me off.  Enough already.

3 calls within 4 hours....really??!! Called back and says "thanks for calling your local newspaper, please hold...bla bla bla".

It's not illegal to call people. " a little pull", wow, look out everyone! We have a big shot! Sad.

I checked other websites, and apparently it's Pioneer Press trying to sell newspapers. I plan on ripping them a new one the next time they call my mobile phone.

I bet it is the Pioneer Press, we had a newspaper delivered and then cancelled. They have tried ever since to get us to subscribe.....

Ohers have reported this phone # as representing the Pioneer Press. I have an unpublished number and am on all the do not call lists. However, 15+ years ago I did do business with them so it's conceivable they have my phone number.

I have had no end of issues with the Pioneer Press and their multiple irritating approaches to marketing. I have told them directly many times to NEVER contact me again and NEVER start throwing unwanted papers in my driveway. This is just another example to convince me to NEVER buy their paper much less subscribe to it.

I got a call from them this morning.  I googled to find out who it was.  I can't absolutely verify that it was the Pioneer Press, but I did cancel my subscription to the Pioneer Press yesterday, and now I'm getting these calls, and everyone above says it's the Pioneer Press.  I'm taking their word for it.

If you have a smart phone, I highly recommend getting the app "Call Control".  I don't know it's availability on other phones but I have it for Android.  I've blocked this number and will never receive it again, and it has been added to the blacklist so others who have this app will not recieve it either.  *disclosure: I do not work for Call Control, just a happy customer.

I have received 3 calls on my cell from this number in the past 3 hours.  Annoying!  I do not give out my cell number, so I have no idea how they got it.

I have gotten multiple calls while at work. I had to start shutting my phone off. No voicemails are ever left. When I answer they don't say anything.

I have received at least 5 phone calls a day for the past 5 days from this number.  The first call a guys says hello or something to my answering machine and then hangs up.  All the other calls are hang ups.  I called the number back and got the recording that the number is disconnected.  They have selected the wrong person to mess with, I have little bit of pull in this state.  I will contact the pioneer press on Monday.

This number just called my home land line and hung up on me....so annoying...I didn't bother calling back.

Called and got a live person, they are representing the Pioneer Press. Told them to take me off the list and also told them I was reporting them to the National Do not Call list.

They've called me three times today but never left a message.

I have received many calls. When I said that I read to news via the internet they said "it is people like you who are making post offices close." I have continued getting calls a couple times a day. Would love to know who to call to make this stop.

This is a company that calls on behalf of the St Paul Pioneer Press. They called offering special promotions with special low prices on paper delivery. This may be their outgoing number as they gave me a number to call when I want to order the paper at a special low price that isn't offered by the paper itself. That number if you wish to call them is 800-456-7009 as given to me only about a week or two ago. Today is 7-6-12.  Maybe you can get their attention calling this number.  I was looking this up tonight as I had this appear on my other line and I didn't recognize it right away.

I got the same message when I called back "This is your local newspaper...." I held the line and it was the St. Paul Pioneer Press, which I have told several times to take my number off their list!

I have also received at least 5 calls from this number in the last week. It leaves a voicemail of nothing every time - I've never answered. When I call back, it says the number is not in service.

get numerous calls and figured out it was local paper calling.  Never answered or talked to anyone then the calls stopped.  Then the paper started showing up on my front step.  got a bill and sent it back with note:Never ordered paper, please stop delivering it.  Now the calls start again.  Here we go!
