Caller ID showed this number and it was someone I know - using a cell phone and not from the TC metro area. Could this number be a phone co. relay number?

Strange - got this number on caller ID, and it was the cell phone of someone that I knew -- but not at all in a TC metro area code. My hunch is that it's a Mediacom realay number.

Been receiving calls but no messages and no one picks up when called back

Several calls from this number without messages, I finally answered and the person answered with an Indian accent advising me I qualified for an auto loan (American General?!)  I advised him that I already purchased a vehicle.  He repeated the offer again or something and I again stated I already purchased a vehicle...  He yelled "Go to Hell"  This is the second call from this "company" where it appears to be routed through a U.S. phone number and the people are horrible!  The last guy had made a sexual solicitation!
