keeps calling but doesnt answer

Answered call from CFM 651-967-0338 this evening.  It was for the Pioneer Press which, by chance[?], I had just cancelled last week.  They offered Thu-Sun for $1.30 or something like that, which was considerably less than what the Pioneer Press was billing us.  I said yes, they took down info and then asked for credit card.  I asked to be billed instead.  She then asked me to wait for the manager to verify info.  He did and gave me the same pitch about their Easy-Pay "offer" on credit card.  I once again asked to be billed.  I heard a faint "thanks" and then click.

Not sure if I'm getting a paper or not, but will certainly let the PP know that this outfit stinks.

Keeps calling, even late in the evening

I am so tired of my phone ringing late in the evening from this number. After about the first hundred times of no one answering, why wouldn't you take that number off your list? The Pioneer Press has sent several offers advising me that I would get a free paper. When the paper never showed up, I decided that reflected their customer service...no thanks!

Pioneer Press subscription services. They've called here three times today alone!

This number called my moms home number, and she is not listed. They didn't leave a message, and I'm sure that shes on the do not call list.

Keeps calling my cell phone. Told me last week that they were going to deliver a free Pioneer Press newspaper to my office to celebrate the state fair and 3 days after the paper started I received a bill from Pioneer Press. I called them and canceled yesterday and today I started getting calls from these jerks again with the same line

I have completely lost all respect for the Pioneer Press and just got off the phone canceling my home delivery where I have been a subscriber for as long as I can remember (20 years?)

Call the number back and I get music I say a few words and it hangs up. Very strange.

CFM is the St. Paul Pioneer Press.  They are hunting for subscribers and have called my monther up to 3 times a day for the last month, even though they have been told not to call again and remove her from their list

Looking at the caller ID, they continue to contact me several times a day. I have actually picked up and spoken to a person 5 times since 6/14/08 and after each one, I have asked them to put me on the Do Not Call list.

I have also reviewed that I am on the National Do Not Call registry - so by calling and repeatedly doing so after I requested to be removed - they are breaking federal law.

They are CFM Marketing, I believe in MN, calling on behalf of the Pioneer Press newspaper.

Numerous unsolicited calls at all hours.  Rude people replied when I did answer the phone.  Loud laughing, as if it was a teenager's joke.  I called them back and left vm saying to stop the harrassment.

Saw ten calls on Caller ID. Called back and asked a nice fellow who answered from the Pioneer Press to take me off the call list since I had already turned them down a few days earlier. He said it should be effective within 24 hours.

I am in Kuwait and keep getting calls from this number on my internet phone.

this number keeps calling me numerous times during the day and evening.  They don't leave a message or answer when you pick up.  I called the number back and only got a musical song.

Just started getting calls from this number a couple days ago. Why would I get Pioneer Press anyway? Star Tribune kicks its a** up and down the Mississippi.

Both my wife's and my cell phones get calls from these numbers sometimes several times a day on speratic days throughout the week. It is almost always someone offering my pioneer press. I ask them to remove me from the list and they say "You'll be removed in 24 hours" then they hang up. I must have been removed a dozen times now. It's starting to really irritate us.

Has been calling for past 2 days, leaves no msg. Call back, either busy or does not pick up. When answered, no one there.
REALLY annoying...

i get calls from this and a number of other nonsence calls. every time i look them up, they are phoney calls. but!!! i do want to warn everyone that if anyone you do not know calls and you find it suspisious, DO NOT PRESS THE # (POUND) OR ANY OTHER NUMBERS IF THEY TELL YOU TO DO!!! THIS CAN ALLOW THEM TO USE YOUR ACCOUNT AND CALL ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! NOT JUST THE U.S.!!!AND YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT BILL!!!

Got a phone call from a guy who said his name was eric from the pioneer press newspaper & he was selling subscriptions. Caller id said cfm 6519670338

Answered, and no one was there... it eventually hung up on its own.  Call was at 10:16 am CDT on 10/19/2007
