They are harrassing me as we speak.  Leaving voicemails telling me they have docket #'s and that I need to be served but I'm out of their jurisdiction.  WTF.  They pulled my credit report and it lowered my score by 4 points.  These people need to be stopped!!!!

Whe I called they did not answer also, but my caller id ph number showed up on their phone system and they returned my call saying that they are returning my caal. The deal from them from whjat i asked is:

WE ARE LIKE GROUPON BUT BETTER.

Anybody who got this call, do you subscribe to GROUPON?
It's just funny that I joined groupon 2 months ago. So what are the chances of them just picking phone numbers and saying that. Think about it maybe your phone info is being bought? who knows BUT it makes you wonder.

They call my cell phone and I get a computer generated voice that says 8 and it's disconnected. My nephew called it back and said something about not being a subscriber number.

I'd like to put a bullet in the brain of whoever is behind these calls. They come in four or five times in a business day, always from Garden Grove, CA and always with the same number. They are not alone, however. This seems to be the newest form of teleharassment from several companies.

There has to be a way of tracking down where these calls are originating from. With all the technology that's out there? Business owners should not have to put up with these cretins.

I blocked my number and called them back. I got a message that "??" (unintelligible) was not available and to please leave a message. I left a message, alright!

Oh my gosh Jeff, you made me laugh out loud!!! That's what I'm gonna do the next time that a-hole calls here...  Yesterday I picked up the receiver but said nothing and waited to see if anyone was on the line, then when they started saying "Hello? John? Bonnie? Hello?" I turned up my internet radio as loud as it would go!  And wouldn't you know, I just happened to be listening to Sean Hannity.  The caller sat on the phone a few seconds, and then hung up.  Scummiest of the scummy!

I told them that my number is on the federal do not call list. They said that it is not illegal to call numbers on this list if a business is operated out of your home.

They then said that they supply information to google. The failed to say that google wants to receive this information and does not black list their email address. In ethics this is called a "lie of omission."

This is very much like scams for new authors. They say that for $500 they will send descriptions of your book to reviewers. The reviewers are smart enough to know that this is a paid service and very likely blacklist the email address of these agencies.

Called around 8:30 a.m. I didn't pick up and the call did not last long enough to even go into voicemail. Caller ID showed Garden Grove, CA. When I looked up the area code, it showed Southern California. The prefix 205 is assigned to T-mobile.

It isn't a scam it is a crapy telemarkiting firm local splash has hired. File complaints with local spash here: http://www.localsplash.com/contact   , maybe they will fire their contractor.

I have been geeting calls from "Local splash" about 3-5 times a week for the past 4 months. Out off all the times I have answered I have actualy spoken to someone twice. Both times after letting them finish their speal I let them know we are not interested and to remove us from their list, but the calls continiue.

Anyway I am happy to report that Local splash is no longer a Google partner as they violated their partnership/program terms. I'm trying to find other ways to report thier harrasment. In the mean time you can also file complaints with the FCC here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?id=d1e37

This # called the company my wife works for at 9 pm while she was closing. The company is a childrens indoor rec business (inflatable bounces). When she answered, he asked to speak to the owner, my wife told him she wasn't available and asked who was calling, he answered Timothy Jarvis. He asked her to leave a message that he called and she told him 'I can do that but you're better off just calling back, she's bad about returning messages.' To which he replied 'Oh, shell return my call, I'm special.' At that point my wife asked what the call was in reference to, and he said 'Dont you worry about that, why don't you just get yourself pretty'd up a bit, I'll be there in a few minutes and we can have some fun on those bounces.' She called me right away and gave me this number. I tried to call it several times (this just happened last night) and much like many of you get the Google voice subscriber is not available message.

Some girl named "Andrea" called saying that she was from "Local Splash" in Santa Ana.  Being that I already have an account with them, and they are not in Santa Ana, I asked her who she really was.  Then she hung up.  She is connected with some kind of scam.

Yes, you can tell them you wish to receive no more calls.  They are bound by law to stop calling.  They will still report your delinquency to the credit bureaus, but the calls should stop.

No buddy, I'm not busy at all. I have plenty of time. Please talk my ear off about a something I don't give a sh*t about.

Telemarketer
Marketing / SEO company - called to tell me I could rank better.... I rank #1 for my keywords.

Dude asked me "How has business been lately?"

I said "It's been slow"

Dude asked me "For how long?"

I said "Since Obama took office"

Dude said "So is that what you do, go around all day complaining about Obama?" and hung up.

Stupid liberal scammers, doesn't surprise me that they are from California.

I do pray for a 20.0 earthquake on our west coast with a corresponding 300ft tsunami - the whole place needs to just be washed away along with the people out there...

You inform them in writing (get a fax number from them, if you don't already have it) to "cease and desist." Unless you do it in writing, they won't pay any attention. You are not alone, so don't despair. The pigs on Wall Street and in D.C. really trashed The American Dream for the Middle Class. We had better take our country back before it's too late.

Think about the billions of dollars we supposedly sent to Iraq for rebuilding what we smashed, and nobody can account for it. Think about the people in Haiti still eating on the ground and living in tents when we supposedly have sent millions for relief.

Ever think about how many pockets our taxpayer dollars are being stuffed into?

You have PLENTY of company, Jonah. Tell them to bug off, but do it in writing. Good luck.

I got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago.  Only rang 3 times, by the time I answered they had hung up.  Glad I didn't answer.  We are a business also.  So glad I didn't get to the phone on time.  We all could start a log for calls on a daily basis and probably have about half of them to report,
it is ridiculous to say the least.  These scammers, phoney telemarketers, phoney debt collectors, I am so very sick of it.  Maybe we should no matter how long it takes, but, no one is doing anything about it, yet......  that we know of, but then we are still getting the calls, so...... to verify the call was from 657-206-5077.  Thanks

I must correct myself. The first phonebook I looked in didn't list a '657' area code. Just now I checked another book and see it as 'California'.
