This guy sent me a text about a pool table I have on craigslist. Said he would set up shipping and use PayPal for "secure payment". I assumed it was a scan because who would pay all that money to ship a $1800 pool table? I found this site that confirmed the suspicion. I sent him the link to the site and told him to stop wasting my time and get a F**king job! I hate people sometimes....

received a text from #657-210-0014 about a car I have listed on Craigslist if "it's" still available.  
Scam so don't waste your time.  Love that you can put in these a.. h.... # and find out this kind of stuff.   It's horrible on C/L you might get a real person interested 1 out of 15 scams.

contacted me about a car i have on craigs list and stated that they could not make or receive calls.... than asked a million questions about the vehicle....... really.

 I have an ad on Craigslist, this guy texted me this ---(1/2) 1962 Class D 3 Point Hydroplane - $3300 (Nashua) i am interested in buying it, please get back to me if its still available for sale. ----so what they do to personalize their message a bit is they copy the tie of the Craigslist ad and paste it in the text. I can't stand these scammers, I used to make a pretty decent profit buying and selling on CL but now when you place an ad all you get is these crappy con artists.1 out of 5 times you might have a legit person trying to contact you.

I'm getting a text from this number for a pickup truck I'm trying to sell on Craig's List.  BEWARE!!!!!  It is a scammer!!!!

He's messaging me right now.  He sent 2 and i've responded to both but thought i'd look the number up.  Glad this site is here.  Thanks guy's.  I may try to have a little fun with this guy for a while.  :)

This guy used fake Paypal emails to try and get me to send money regarding a post I made on Craigslist.  watch out.

I am selling a boat on Craigslist and I got a text claiming that the person can not make or receive telephone calls so I have to text them back. You want to buy my boat but you can't make or receive telephone calls??? I'm not certain that this is a scam but ... ummmm ... lol.

Thanks for the website.  This number texted me in regards to an item. Referred to the mower as "it".  "I am interested in buying it."  They are never specific.

Received the same type of text from 657 210 0014.....SCAM

This idiot will bombard you with stupid texts asking ridiculous questions about craigslist posted items.Sometimes if I have time for a joke,I will call these fools back and say hey what are you doing?When they finally ask who is this,I reply "with" well you text and call me so I just figured I would kill some free time calling you.

Same MO as everyone else... advertised a vehicle for sale on Craigslist and got the following a few hours later.

i got exact email as 2 posts above from someone called hadley.  then i received another email from the "boss".  i googled the number and found this so kept discussion open.  then i received a call from bosd from florida number.  when i actually called the number above it is for a man named mark, not hafley, not andy.

I have the number and never involve in any scam s***...

Sounded good, but when they refer to the "item" or "it" you know it ain't rel.

Received several messages concerning a vehicle I was selling on craigslist. Was not able to see vehicle but offered to make payment and stated was going to send $650 extra for shipping and $100 extra for western union. I then realized I had been scammed and googled the number.

Then when told "sorry the item has been sold to someone else" he replied with "thats ok, I still want to get to know you."....ummm

what did he want?  he sent a phoney sounding email re something i was selling too but i googled the number and got this so i won't call him.

Got a text from this number about a car i'm selling on Craigslist. Dude can't come to see it, asks questions that i've answer on the ad, and refer's to the car as "it".

Same thing happened to me with that phone number.  Email was automatically sent to my spam box.

sent a tex from Fl with his Calif prefix phone # --!!!!!!   on my classic car
had a gmail email address -- usually scammers use that and hotmail too
