Nigerian scammer.

This number is from a nigerian!!!  Avoid! Also uses this # to text (702) 829-4422. These guys are great liars and will take everything you have; including your identity.

They just tried doing the exact same thing to me.

i got a text from 657-210-1148 they asked me how low would i go on price and did it come with the box. i responded, they texted back and asked me to send a paypal money request to moniquehouston753@yahoo.com before i sent it i wanted to do a check on the email. thank god i did. scam scam scam scam scam

After they started calling from another number, I told them I was uncover FBI on craigslist trying to catch scammers that go by their numbers and email address. I gave them their info before they could tell me their name or other numbers. Then they just told me I am risking my life and will be dead in a  few minutes.

I got the same yahoo email address but they are using a new number

They called me using this number: 385-202-5385, then began texting me from 657-210-0594. They want me to send a paypal invoice asap. That lit up a red flag. They are a craigslist scammer.

Got a text from this number +1 (646) 926-7679 with the email moniquehouston753@yahoo.com wanting me to send an invoice to him threw PayPal for something I posted on Craigslist. I'm glad I looked at this site. Thanks and beware.

The same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago but I fell for it and lost a nice bracelet. I threatened them in a text message to this number and they told me to get the FBI involved if I wanted. Whoever it is is obviously doing well because they seem to be scamming a lot of people, myself included.

Just curious but did anything else happen after they threatened your life? It makes me nervous because I listed my parent!s address.

I have a watch for sale on Craigslist.  Who ever this is gave me a death threat too.  Demanding I use Paypal.  After specifically stating cash only.  He/she said "you will die in a few" After I told them to "get a life and a real job"  They actually had the nerve to say "this is how I make a living"  WOW!!!  how could this kind of thing happen?  Don't trust anyone.  Be careful!!

I just got a text message from this number regarding a pair of 600 dollar antique earrings I have listed on CL. They asked me to send them an invoice for the earrings, which I actually did. It was afterwards that things started to look weird. I live in NJ, but I'm originally from Indiana, and the address they provided me is in Indiana, but the area code 657 I knew wasn't Indiana. They are fairly aggressive in texts about sending the item FedEx next day delivery. I got the same email from "PayPalService". The email looked strange, too. A lot of little grammar errors and superfluous commas and periods that didn't look mildly professional. I knew something was up and thankfully I found this website before I actually sent the earrings out. I'm closing my PayPal account now, and maybe will start fresh later on, but for now, I just want to distance myself from the whole thing. Be careful!

This is still an active scam artist. We received an offer on a grandfather clock for sale today with the same request to send a paypal invoice and that they would have a "shipping company" pick it up. I sent the request but quickly googled to be sure and located this page. Thank you all for your input you saved my mother and I a lot of trouble.

Whoever is doing this needs to give it up.

Wow. I recieved an email last night about a ring I posted last month. The person asked if I would lower the price then asked if I could send them a paypal request or give them my paypal ID so they could transfer the money.

I texted them a pic of these goggle complains against their number n now they disconnected that number

It is a scam...i even asked them to call me to verify and she did...accent...and wanted me to mail my diamond on CL immediately...Glad I googled the number and the email/paypal acct!  BEWARE and thank you for sharing!  They are now cussing at me via text messages because I told them I am not interested in dealing with "thieves" ...Sad world they are in...they now claim their phone was lost and they dont know what its been used for...grrrr

People just be smart and deal with cash only on Craigslist. If anyone ever try's to get you to use PayPal or wire funds, just ignore them.

Posted item on craigslist. Gave me the email moniquehouston753@yahoo.com and told met to send invoice via paypal so that they could pay that way. I did a quick search first, and saw this site. So I decided to play along, saying that I would do a security check first. They quickly replied, I have just risked my life! Very sneaky. I may play with this a bit more haha. Of course,  not using my real phone number

Craigslist & Kijiji are NOT eBay. "Local only - Cash only - In Person - No text messages". There is NO reason to accept Paypal for a Craigslist ad. Not what they were designed for. Tell any caller who is "at sea", "on a boat", "working in a remote location" to call you when they get home. If it's still for sale, come on over, & bring your cash.

Today (June 1, 2013) I received text messages from this phone number (657.210.0594) asking me to send them a paypal invoice for an item I listed locally on CL. The person claimed to be away on business and I was to send the item to their "cousin". I almost sent them a paypal invoice but I thought why not google the phone number listed first as this sounded almost too good to be true. Good thing I did as I can see many others have been scammed or almost scammed by this person/these people. The person text messaging me used the email address kystrofkay@yahoo.com and requested I mail the item to 8 Broad Street Apogbon Marina Lagos Nigeria (another Nigerian scam, I know)...suffice to say I am not doing business with this person/these people.

They obviously can not read too. I specifically stated DO NOT TEXT ME! NO SCAMMERS! NO JIVE! NO MESS!!!

I had the same idiot try to get me to sell a ring and ship it to Ca to a house that is vacant and listed with a realtor. He said I'd be dead in a few and that he was coming for my life. Wth is wrong with people????

I just posted a ring on craigslist too and got the same name requesting I send her a paypal money request and asked for my phone number.  is this is scam?
