They are at it again person called named john Perry claiming to have a stop order. Claiming to have a debit from 5 years ago for crescent jewelers for 14k. They threatened a court date etc. Calling from 214-483-1616, 855-264-9136. Beware they are at it again. Almost got my friend to send them money .

My advice to anyone who has dealt with these frauds is to blow them off.  They won't do a god damn thing.  They try to scare you by lying about a lawsuit they have supposedly filed against you.  They haven't.  They never will file a lawsuit.  When Alexis Cruz told me that they were trying to serve me with papers I asked them why the lawsuit did not appear on the OC court system website.  She sat there silent for a beat and then hung up.

That's all it takes.  Just call them out on it.

I have received a few threatening calls from this number with a lady claiming to be Jeana Morgan. She said they were going to have my husband served at work for an old debt. I talked it over with my husband and he said to go ahead and give her my card info to clear up the debt that following monday morning. I did. Later that evening, I was talking to my mother in law and she asked me about the company she works with so I went on line to do a reverse look up of the number and found pages of this being a scam by Alexis Cruz. I called the number back and got a voicemail box for Alexis Cruz. Sickened to my stomach and in a complete panic, I called my bank and cancelled the card. Thankfully she wasn't able to get any money from us. It's been a few weeks since this happened and I haven't heard a word, until today. She called again from a blocked number and stated in the voicemail that she must have gotten the card number mixed up because the one she has says it's been declined and to call back today or this will be forwarded to the District Prosecuting Attorney.

I received a call yesterday from a Gina Morgan claiming an outstanding balance from about 5 yrs ago.From a previous marriage  were the credit limit was only 500 dollars, now stating that I owe 14,000, and will accept 1500 by the end of this month, would not except payment.
After being told if I give my acct. number, that they would court procedures on hold and not file papers, was also told that a sheriff would out to my house and serve papers, after letting alexis know that my husband is a sheriff deputy that she will not answer any calls

She called today at work telling me that I owed $15k on an old credit card and would settle for $4k. Otherwise she already has the sheriffs dept on their way to serve me and take me to court. Gives the name OFC. They are linked to a company WPG who called my credit union impersonating my father in law to try and get personal information which I only found out by accident when my credit union called me thinking they had been disconnected.

Called their company "OFC". Gave a call back number of 657-859-4703. Called up at work saying that they had already attempted to serve us and were sending someone to serve again unless we paid $4K on a 6 year old debt (Original debt I wanna say was $1500?) that with interest and fees is now $15,000.00! And they would take us to court, garnish wages and put a lien on my car. These people really are scum of the earth.

I too rec.'d a phone call from Alexis Cruz 657-859-4703 stating a civil action had been filed against me, when I tried returning the call a woman answered "legal department" please hold after 6 mins. I hung up and tried again this time she answered "please hold" and before I could say anything I was back on hold, that's when I googled the number. Everyone please call your phone company and Better Business Bureau and report this person, lets turn the tables on Alexis Cruz!

Alexis Cruz called my cell # leaving a dirty message saying Me & my husband we being sued in a cival case concerning my property financed by Chase Bank.  If we did not respond immediatly to her she would take further actions against us.

What do I do to get them to stop calling my work. I have asked them several times to not call my work to call my cell. Its a little embarrasing when my boss calls me in to tell me someone called and is going to send the sheriff here and then have to explain to him what its actually about. They have done this twice now, first it was a guy named Alex now its a girl named Alexis. I have also gotten an email from them sending me a letter they sent me from "2007" when they said they've only had my case for 2 weeks and will have to send it off somewhere in 2 weeks. The email cannot be replied to either. I also had stupidly given them a payment once but my bank didnt let it clear because they were flagged as fraudulent activity thankfully.

She says it doesnt matter now we are married so the debt is hers to. I keep on telling her inever took out that credit card talk to my mom but she never even called her keeps calling me or my wife. So i preceeded to do research and i found at this website all you guys going through the same issue so i decided to call hsbc and metris to see if me or my mom had any outstanding balances and they said they cant find anything on us.Oh and forgot to say that alexis cruz gave me a credit card number from which is the one i supossedly owed gave that number to hsbc and metris and nothing popped up credit card number doesnt exist, Would like to let you know that they also use another number it's (813)273-7802. When you call back its a machine saying thatyou call direct merchants and if your calling to pay press 1 otherwise stay on the line for the next rep. I am still dealing with her as we speak i have reported her number as a scam and if she keeps bothering me i will record our conversations and proceed to sue them. So dont let this person scare you, she is a worthless piece of scum that is useless to this world and does not belong in it

Received call from 657-859-4703 wanting me or my attorney to return call to gina morgan, this is a time sensitive matter.  I do not have any money owed and when I checked my credit report today I see that there is an inquiry from WPG 1801 Park Ct in Santa Ana which is tying tall of the other comments I have seen.  BEWARE.

I received a phone call from this "Alexis Cruz", the number showed up as a private number so I didnt answer it.  They left a very rude message stating that either me or my ex husband needs to return their call, that a civil complaint has been filed against us and that this was a time sensitive matter and they will proceed if we do not call them back. At the end the lady said "good luck" thought that was a little strange.  I called back and didn't get an answer just a voice mail, saying I have reached Alexis Cruz, to leave my name and case number.  A few hours passed and I didnt receive a call back so I called again.  This time a woman answered the phone, but when she answered all she said was hello.  I asked to speak with Alexis Cruz, and she asked me "well who is this?"  Very hateful.  She told me that my husband had a Kays Credit Card that is deliquent and that we passed a bad check in 2009.  My husband and I have been divorced since 2008, and the checking account is closed.  Also, my name wasnt on the account.  She argued with me that I was responsible for the debt.  She told me that she was going to have both of our drivers license suspended, and arrested for passing a bad check.  She also said she was sending a sheriff to my job to serve me papers.  We continued to argue, and finally I said I am contacting my attorney and I hung up.  I was so upset and freaked out by this call.  I called my attorneys office, and of course he wasnt in the office.  I then called the prosecuting attorneys office, and they checked to see if anything has been filed against me, and there wasnt.  I then googled her name and number and found out this was all a scam.  I called her back several times going off on her, but she eventually wouldnt answer the phone.  I called the police department to see if I needed to file any kind of report and they advised me to call the attorney generals office.  I did this, and they were well aware of this scam, they claimed they are based out of the country, and they are using some kind of spoofing device, so the number is untrackable.  Then the next day she called again, not even knowing she was calling me again.  She said she was returning a call she received...LOL  I again went off on her, she told me she has my social security number, my home address, and she gave me detailed information that is on my credit report.  I am a little scared that they could possilbly hurt my credit somehow.  Has anyone that has had contact with this scum had any issues like that???

When its not even he fault it debt to begin with. Telling him to pay 1000 sounds fishy to me. He googled this number and found out we weren't the only one. BE AWARE !

On January 19, I received a call from Alexis 657-859-4703 at OFC claiming that a sheriff was on his way to serve me with a summons on a fallatious credit card debt.  She threatened to bypass my work security, put a hold on all of my credit cards - which she named in detail, put a lien on my car, and crowed that she always won in court and that I should pay $3500 (and put it on my credit car right then) to avoid losing in court and paying @$15,000.  She knew all of my financial information and was nasty and threatening.

Alexis then called my ex-husband and harassed him in the same manner.

These tactics are illegal and fraudulent.  Hang up on them and report them to the Federal Trade Commissions.

My daughter received a call from Alexis Cruz, 657-859-4703 at her place of employment.  Fortunately, she left a message on the wrong person's voice mail and it was forwarded to the HR Department who heard the message wherein Alexis stated that she was from the legal department and she was sending over someone to pick up my daughter unless she returned the call to work something out.  My daughter called Alexis back and she told her she was trying to collect on a debt from 2002 and she must pay $2000 that day or that she was going to have her served with papers.  Previoulsy Alexis contacted my daughter and left a message on her voice mail that she sent document with her Social Security number and birthdate on it to an address and that she needed to call her back for information.  When my daughter called her back to find out where did she send the letter to, Alexis never provided her with a response, but attempted to get her to send money.  

These tactics are absolutely illiegal and fraudulent.  I had a friend, who is a private investigator, trace down the number and it leads to 1801 Park Court Place, Santa Ana, CA  92701 - Asset Capital Management.  I think they also go by a fraudulent name Western Performance as well.  

In any event, any legitimate creditor will either sue you in court for the debt or call and try to negotiate the debt with you, if in fact it is a legitimate debt.  

If you are getting calls from alleged creditors and they are threatening to have you thrown in jail or serve you with papers or being down right nasty with you, immediately hang up and report them to the Federal Trade Commissions.

This Alexis Cruz just called our cell phone demanding our lawyer call back that we  were being taken to court. I started researching to see who this was and found out about the scam.

I got a phone call from these frauds.  Don't let them scare you.  They will not file a suit.  Just ignore them.

Jaja this Alexis Cruz is and idiot, she called me and my husband today and left a message say its very inportant that we return her call, but the funny thing is that my daughter SR told me her sister had called her at work stating a Alexis Cruz called her looking for her saying the sherifs was on the way to summen her. Jaja.. I don't have any debts past do this Alexis need to do her homework and realize my husband and I dont have bad credit..Please everyone we need to work together and stop this crazy woman...

I recieved a message from her  Alexis Cruz about three hours ago. I wish I would have Googled this 657-859-4703 before I returned the call so I could've read some of these msgs to her, that would've been a riot lol! Its ashamed that people like that are out there praying on peoples' ignorance like that but reality is, they are out there and now I know that next time I recieve some crazy msg like that I will do my research first and save myself from having a heart episode. I do not want this person/company Alexis Cruz who supposively works for Western Performance Group calling my home or cell phone with harrassment and threats.  Supposively Alexis Cruz is represented a company who Initial are OFC, or something similiar to that.

Got one today, but this time it was from Gina and it came up as private caller on the caller id.  Just said she wanted to know what attorney was representing us.

Emily Gray called me and threatened me with the same words you've described above.  Also gave me the number for Alexis and I haven't called. I'm trying to find a way to get back at them at the same time.  Perhaps, I'm going to create my own case number and a fake attorney's office as well.
