We received a call from this number last night. Kinda funny if it's in any way regarding a mortgage as we scrimped & saved & paid off our mortgage years ago. We hold our deed free & clear. :-\

I don't understand why I would get a call from this company.

I've never defaulted on a loan. I've not declared bankruptsy.

I've refinanced a few times, most recently this summer, but my payments are being made on time.

Why would my mortgage company hire this company to "audit" me after the refinance has been closed and i've made payments for 6 months? just curious.

if this wasn't some type of marketing/phishing company, then you would leave a message.  give it up - no one wants to be bothered by you and you're company

Your company are there to pick at the bones of defaulted home buyers. They misrepresent their true purpose, which is only to dig up dirt on borrowers. They make millions by going after people who have lost their homes. There is a special place in hell for people like you.

Before I start, allow me to briefly explain to some of you of how this works. A person have a mortgage through a bank, the bank requires that person to have PMI insurance in the event the person defaults on the mortgage. If this happens the PMI company has to reimburse the bank on the amount lost. The PMI company sends in IMARC to see if the loan should have been issued. If IMARC can find that there was some wrong doing by the bank or by the borrower then they can get out of paying the bank for defaulted mortgage. If IMARC can prove that wrong doing occured by the borrower, or by the bank, IMARC denies the bank their claim for reimbursement and reports it to the FBI as mortgage fraud.  With that said..

I defaulted on my home loan filed bankruptcy and move to a different house. A year after the home sold at a foreclosure auction, I get a call from this IMARC company. Their pitch from them was that they wanted to go through my original loan documents to see if the bank treated me fairly. He pretended it was something that was in my best interest, and became pushy when I refuse to answer any questions. Don't answer any questions from this company, they are trying to dig up dirt and box either you or your bank in. Even if the error was created by the bank, they will try to tie you in to it and pretend that somehow you were in on it.

Hi - I understand your concern, but the calls anyone would receive from us are not collections.  You'll never be asked for any type of payment.  We are not a collection agency.

Feel free to contact us if you would like a further explanation of our business.

Are you blinded by greed or just need a reality check?

You work for a collection agency called IMARC (investors mortgage asset recovery
company)...Duh?

BTW, nobody here likes collection agencies!

Hi all - these calls aren't fraud.  I work for the company, we're an auditing firm.  If you get a call from someone spoofing our number, that would be a problem, but the company itself is not a fraud.  For more info, visit our website: www.imarcaudits.com.  Our executives range from a former chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association to people who have owned mortgage lending businesses.  If you receive a call, it is most likely because you've taken out a mortgage loan in the past and that loan is part of a quality control audit.
