I just got  a call today but all they said was hello and then hung up? What do they say to you

I just got the same thing - hello - then bad connection

Received a call with a "hello" then hung up.  Strange called on a govt. phone.

I just got a call that a man said hello and hung up. It lasted 15 seconds.

I got a voicemail - on my cell phone - from this number, which tried to make it look like I had been trying to lower my interest rate on my credit cards.  "And since you were only making the minimum payment, this is just a great opportunity...."

Same story - message on my cell.  Talked to me last week, just getting back to me regarding my inquiry on lowering my credit card rates.  As low as 1.5%!  I can't wait to call them back and get scammed!  I suppose this tactic must have worked at least once in the past if they are still trying it.

Got a message from this number also about lowering my interest rate on a CC. I called back and got someone who said they must have dialed wrong.

OR they could hope you come to sites like this and click on the 'reverse phone number' ads imbeded in most of them and in that way they are making money.

I got this message too, about credit card debt reduction only I don't even have a credit card! Just wanting to know how they got my cell phone number-- this REALLY bothers me.

I just got a call at work from this guy and he left me a voicemail. It was cut in the beginning so I didn't catch his name or who the call was actually intended for, but like others on here he was from Cole Camp, MO and was talking about a credit card interest rate reduction??? There was no way this was intended for me. I googled the number and it led me here. He called about 12pm eastern time.

I got a call from this number last night and didn't answer...a man left a voicemail (his name was either 'doug' or 'brian' *can't remember) saying he could help me reduce my interest rate on my student loans - and that this was the last courtesy call he would make...i deleted after that.

My wife receive this call, it was like some kind of voice machine,  He said to her this is Chase Bank and we need your Credit card number.  She told him I don't have that bank, and hang up.. I think it a scam that get your Cellphone number, and then they call you.  be careful, not give out any info.  Alway ask for their name and tell them,  you will call them at your bank.  
It shame what theft are doing these day to make a fast buck, and clean out your checking or saving account.

Im from Pa, i got a call from this number aronnd 5:30 , i answered it , it sounded like a guy but i couldnt understand him so i hung up.

I just got a call from this number and answered it to a man saying what I thought was "Uh...hello?" and I said hello back and then he hung up on me. I searched the internet and it said it was  Connie Stafford in Cole Camp, MO?! I've never been to MO...is it some company using this persons id to make calls??? Weird...dont answer! Its a WASTE OF MINUTES! :)

Same here as above.  Call came in 1245 EST, unintelligible voice then nothing.

Got just a 'hello....?' and I answered back 'hello?' hoping to know who it was...but they just hung up...

I got a call from this number about an hour ago but i didnt answer because i was in class. Googled it and found this. Glad I know it wasnt important apparently.

Just got the call awhile ago from this strange number.  I didn't answer it, but of course googled it instead!  Some people have nothing better to do than make prank phone calls...gee I wish I could have that interesting life!

Just got the uhhhh hello call!!!!!!

I just got this number 660-668-4783 and I called this number back as there is no dial tone ! What a crock...

Just received a call from this number, didn't answer because I was on another call.  Didn't know the number so I googled it, as you all did, and now I know.  SCAM.  ugh

got the same thing. person say "uh Hiiii" drawn out like they didnt expect me to answer my phone. then silence.

Yeah, just happened to me too. Sounded like an electronic voice.

Great. They got a hold of my cell phone #. Hopefully I can block this #. I didn't answer the call thank goodness.
