I had the same thing happen to me just this week .They called me yesterday  telling me i had a lawsuit aganist me for a pay day loan since 2012.I was going to have a criminal suit aganist me.i hung up then they called me right back this time it was a female on the phone telling me i suggest you get a defense lawyer..I huge up ..they were calling my cell phone had that number changed know thnere calling my work phone..OMG these people are getting on my nerves.HELP...

I received the same call from the same lady.  It is a scam.  They even called my job.

This guy from Henson Law firm called me and said that I would be arrested for a loan I never took out. I asked to have a case number and the name of the suing company. I was told there was no case number generated yet and the name of the company was "American Cash". Never heard of them! I asked him what was the amount of the loan owed and he was unable to tell me. I was tranfered to the paralegal in charge(him unaware that Im a senior paralegal). I was told that the cops would pick me up tomorrow for this loan I never recieved, nor did I apply for it. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! If a company has your social they typically dont call it out to you, nor do law firms call in that manner. They 1st contact in MOST LIKELY A LETTER, asking you to call. BE AWARE!!!

got the same call.  If I don't call back or hear from my lawyer, they will call my job.  Some complaint against me.   Litigation proceedings.  Next call.  I have 4 hours to respond.  I don't answer the phone.  I put my name on,  no call. gov.  They are trying to get money.  All a scam.  His name is Michael Andrews.  Sounds Indian.

honey, these people are scam artists. i dont even think they have your whole ss #, just last 4. if you applied on any random online search sites-ours was loan sites-they get your info that way. they try to scare you into giving them permission to withdraw $ from your account in order to keep the 'law' off you. even if you did owe money, you cant go to federal or any other type of prison\jail for a debt. they are trying to tell people that its a fraud investigation for not paying a payday loan that was obtained with a check and checking account. even if THAT were true, it takes alot to prove that kind of criminal fraud, and most dont bother with payday loans. they sue in claims court and garnish your wages. a legitimate company would know that its illegal to threaten with police or arrest in a collection call. if there was a real criminal case, they wouldnt be saying you are being charged 'in the courthouse' as if our country has only 1, and you would be recieving legal court documentation before anything else was done. so next time they call, tell them to shove it...better yet, dont answer the phone, and erase their messages without listening. they'll move on to their next 'mark' quickly enough.

Man froma law firm in Missouri called me said I had an outstanding payday online loanthat I was being sued about. Said if I didn't pay them they would issue a warrant for my arrest. I am having all calls forwarded to a dectective at the local police department. The dectective had the same contact a few weeks earlier. They can not prosecute you.

same thing happenned to my husband yesterday, he said he was jack luis benson law bond. He said he owed money and that if he didn't pay over the phone with a credit card he was going to be arrested.
his number was 660-956-0133 my husband cursed him out we tried calling back the number it's busy all the time. Be ware do not believe these people they are scammers. Don't ever give out your bank information or credit cards.

Wow I received this call on the 12th witch was yesterday. They told me a police would be at my house tomorrow and I would get arrested. I was so scared, I have no loan at all. They told me if I interrupted him or hung up I'll be in more trouble. And I owed 8, 000$. How to report this. He said I'll do 15days then he said 30days.

I received this same called. They said I would be picked up tomorrow from my home. I owed tha same company american cash. 8, 000$. I told my boyfriend he was like baby that's a scam. I was so scared. I don't even have a loan. Tha man told me I had to listen to him talk and not interrupt him or hang up that I would be in trouble.

I got the same to call and I'm researching this because when I asked when the deposit was made and for how much they couldn't tell me unless they opened my file which would send someone to my work to have me  arrested and held for 5 days then court hearing then a $ 5000.00 dollar court fee. The lady on the phone had all my personal information and refused to tell me anything and kept saying that the company I had the loan out with emailed me. It was some Indian speaking lady. She until tomorrow go get a greendot money pack, I don't even know what that is and I thought that it was a little odd that I couldn't pay with a credit card. I have never heard of American Cash Advance and have never taken out a loan with them. She stated that I could pay $100.00 to keep me out of jail and no further criminal charges would be brought up. I asked her several times for the amount of the loan and when it was deposited all she did was threaten me to be arrested tomorrow at my work.

These people called me today I was so scared. I don't even have a loan. I applied for one, but didn't get it. They told me if I hung up I would be in trouble. And the police and sheriff would be at my house. They told me I had 3 different charges filed against me. I had to do 16 days in jail, then he told me 30 days. He said he was calling for (America loan or Ameria loan). And they don't even do loans in my state. I even called my police department.

I recieved a call from benson law firm from a lady named jenny anderson and she told me I had a case against me and told me if I didn't pay i would face 3 to 6 months in jail of course I freaked out until I googled the number and found your post thank you all so much I can live happily now with confidence.

I already submitted my information in an earlier report to you.  I got a call from a Jason Brown from Benson Law firm.  He told me that I owed $652 and that a U.S. Marshall would be coming to my house to arrest me and take me to Federal Prison if I didn't pay the money.  I told him that I didn't owe the money.  He said "tell it to the judge." When I tried to call the number back it kept ringing busy.  I don't know what to do.  He said they have my SSN and all of this information on me.  Please help me.  I have a mental illness and am under a psychiatrist's care.  Jason Brown informed me that I would be in Federal Prison for 16 months.  I take medication for bipolar disorder and severe depression.  Please help.  What can I do?

This number has been calling for a week! I looked up the number, reported it to ic3.gov and Consumer Protection Agency. I called this Ron Person back & was told he was from Benson Law Firm. Then I told him I knew this was a scam and that I reported him. He hung up on me. So, I called him back again. When he answered "Benson Law Firm," I asked for this Ron Person. He said, "Why are you calling me, you f'ing b*tch?!" And he hung up again. I tried calling again, but he must have took the phone off the hook. Report this hacker/scam artist! The more who report him, the better chance they'll have to catch him.

This place is def a fraud!!!! They called my husband while I was out of town and told him the same thing. I called them back and told him he can't take anyone to jail for something they never agreed too and didn't sign any type of paperwork.  Lets just say by the end of the conversation he ended up cussing me out and I told him if he was a real atty that he would not be talking to me this way and that I'll make sure not to hold my breath on the sheriff showing up at our house.  It's been 5 days now and he called my husband today saying the same thing and when I called him back he knew exactly who I was when I said my husband's name and he hung up on me immediately.  I tried to call back and he took his phone off the hook.  Don't feel threated or give them any type of money.

Call a real law firm Benson law in missouri 660-627-0111 tell them someone is posing as thete law.firm and trying to committ fraud which ever number called you give them the number when you get these calls check what state number coming from and report it to state attorney general report to your state attorney general and if you have personal attorney report to them also contact me at kgwsw@inbox.com and well gather evidence get these companies.and individuals charged.with fraud and.do a class action lawsiut against them

These guys just called me. My girlfriend was worried and felt we should leave our place of residence because they said there would be a sheriff coming to take me into custody in approximately thirty minutes. I looked this number p on Google and found what you all have posted, thank you so much. I called them back and told them to lose my number and the person that answered told me to s*** his***** and hung up lol.

I just got the same call today about 5 minutes ago, and it was an Indin accent man said that there is an warrant for my arrest and that I will be arrest at home or at work by tomorrow morning.

I received a call from these same nut balls today I knew from the start of the call this was going to be some BS The man on the phone barely spoke English and kept telling me that I was going to be arrested and taking downtown because I owe some online payday loan called advance payday land ???? and I should have already received a email with an Affidavit telling me about the law suit .WHO IN THE HELL sends an legal Affidavit through email...The man told me since I did not receive an email he will transfer me to someone who can better explain the law suit. This lady comes on the line she also did not speak good English she tried to tell me the same BS about how I owe money and they will be prosecuting me. I then had to BUST HER BUBBLE. I advised lady that I do not owe anybody and I will be contacting my cousin who is an Attorney and my Brother in Law who is a FBI agent The lady quickly hung up the phone..

person kept calling, I never gave any info. His name was Jack Willis. He said that the call was important and that If I ignored the call , I would have to talk to an attorney. I don't know who or what this company is all about. It iis fraud. Don't give out any info.

Who do I Report these a***oles to. They got me worked up talking abt jail and I never gotten a loan from no USA payday loan. How did they even get my information? When I asked for their information the keep hanging up on me so I keep calling back and finally the information they gave me was incorrect.  I looked it up online and that lawfirm doesn't exist....

I just received a call from them as well, it prompted me to look up the number. They said the same thing I will.be arrested at my home or job in the morning.

Benson Law Firm from South Baltimore MO is where Michelle Jones said she worked... wanted to read an affadavit for my arrest.I could not understand half of what she said. I asked her if she wanted me to pay her money? She said yes. Said I owed several thousand dollars to "America Cash Advance" that was online. I asked for her name address phone number, etc. She hung up on me finally.

Just received a call from this number 660 956 0133 also called my cell phone under 866 378 0792 he said he had my last four social security # and I told him that was incorrect he also called my place of employment told him he was not able to call my place of employment and he said all right all right and hung

keep calling my job name of the representative is Jack at 660-956-0133. The E-Consumer.gov site indicates that this company is a scam. Report them on IC3.gov site for follow up
