Some states do not allow recorded messages without informing the other party the conversation is being recorded. So in saying, check your states laws first in regards to recorded messages.

Start recording the calls without their knowledge. Save them however you can. It take two years to investigate these bums. when you file your complaint inform them you have recorded documentation. They can distinguish the voice which strengthens the case for local prosecutions. Much of this is coming from overseas unfortunately.

THIS TIME THEY CALLED FROM A NUMBER LISTED IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA 904 - 619 - 0866 .. BE AWARE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION AS IT IS A BIG SCAM. NUMBER IS LISTED TO A RAYMOND DONOVAN ON ETHANS GLEN TERRACE IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA. I TOLD THEM I WOULD CONTACT MY ATTORNEY AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME RIGHT AWAY.

this is so frustrating!!!!!! i keep getting the same calls, only he always ends his message with all i can do is wish you the best and have a blessed day. really???? keep an eye out for this # as well (510)256-0351. i dont answer when he calls, but the voicemails are annoying as well as the calls. how can people get away with this stuff? already talked to my local sherriff and all i can do is ignore the call :(

They have been very active lately, it seems. My cousin got a call from them not log ago. They claimed to be affiliated with the local police. However, my cousin called them back and got a name from the person speaking. The person who called went by the name of Valerie Miller, who claimed to be based in Connecticut. My cousin got the call from 888-267-6980, another known scam number. Although many people think they are in India, they are at least partially not. If you did a TON of research, like I did, (I'm sort of a self taught cyber tracker) you will fin that they are based partially in Connecticut, Danbury to be exact. She is associated, a you will see, with Robert, Frank, and Joseph, who are some of the names mentioned in other reports from this number and other numbers used by this group. If you get a call from any of these people, it would be in your best interest to hang up. They are known scammers, and have not been stopped, as far as I can see. When suspicion is raised by the target, the scammer gets angry and begins being very rude. Report them to the authorities. They also go by an organisation that calls themselves things such as USC Litigations, or anything that has to do with the law and the prefix "USC".

ive been getting calls like these ones also and they been saying they are going to put me behind bars and my familoy is going to lose everything we have and it needs to stop. and when i try to call them back the number has been change. i dnt know what it is.  i have no debts at at in my name or anyones

He's a scam artist who calls people up threatening them about money they don't even owe him, then pockets it instead of sending it to the creditors he claims to represent. He has been very active-I have read a lot of complaints about him on whocallsme.com.
BTW, being in debt is a civil matter, not criminal, so he can't have you arrested for that.
The best thing you can do is report and block him.

The number that called me was (347)377-7684. Called me all week talking he was Jack Smith or Robert Jackson from the state investigation department. They were investigating my ssn and he told me the last four digits. Said they were going to put a warrant out for my arrest, they were pick me up from my job and if I lose my job then I'm responsible. And its a time sensitive matter. Keeps leaving messages on my voicemail. Had me scared. I called the actually people that I owe and they told me that it wasn't them and that my account was in good standing. I want to know who this t**** head guy is!!

I keep getting calls from this number is there any way to make them stop??? They know my social security number and they keep threating me there going to block it and allot of other bs.

I applied for a payday loan last month ONLINE and received the loan and paid it back.  After $30 being charged to my account for no reason and the payday loan place I borrowed from had no idea who it was from, I closed that account and opened a new one.  Ever since then I have been receiving a phone call from these people.  They called my cell phone about every day and have recently started calling me at work.  I very patiently listened to them because I wanted to get to the bottom of this.  After about a 3 minute phone call, I said "this is a scam.  Do not call me again" and the guy with the foreign accent started screaming at me as I was hanging up.

He is now using the name Officer Stanley McQuon. He is still using the same thing about saying he has an affidavit with my name on it. He also said something about protecting my social security number and credit rating. In a  couple of the voicemails he left, he even went on to say something about me ending up "behind the bars" and something terrible happening. He was calling from one number and leaving another number that was supposed to be his department's number. I called my local police office when I got home and he pointed me in the direction of google after he looked it up himself and told me it was a scam

i just got a call from these people saying i owe a payday loan and they said i was going to jail if i didn't pay them $600 dollars. Same as everyone else below I spoek with a certain "Officer" Alex Flemming (strong indian accent!) saying that my SSN is under investigation for bank fraud etc. etc.
He stated he's from the "State Investigating Department. Pleaee look into this they had all my bank account info and my ss# ??

This guy called me and asked for the guy that had my number two years ago. He was so rude and mean and told me I was lying when I told him I was not said person. These people need to be stopped!

These guys are GOOD.  They had my cell number, my work number, last 4 digits of my SS#.  "Officer Michael Thomas" from "State Investigation Department" said I had taken out a cash advance that was due within 21 days and I didn't pay it and that now I was being sued.  He even gave me a case number.  BULLS##T.  I think I would remember that.  What he didn't know was that I work for a law firm that handles these collection bozos all the time.  I reviewed PACER online and the case number he gave me was bunk.  I also did a records search while on the phone with him under my SS and my name. Neither turned up anything.  They are hustlers, simple as that.  When I told this joker to stop calling, he even pretended to get on the phone on the other line to talk to his supervisor(of course where I can still hear) and tell him to send an officer to pick me up at my office because I'm not cooperating.  I couldn't stop laughing.  Finally got bored with him and hung up in his face, then blocked his number on my cell.

My caller was David Jones from Bureau of Investigations.  He tried last week and the number came thru as 911 emergency number on my phone.  Told him to call someone who was a complete idiot.  Called me today on cell and house phone, threatening to get me fired from my previous employer.  I've been calling him back to see how that was working out for him, and demanding to be taken off of the calling list.  The guy is so flustered because he doesn't know what to do.  Guess his boss never prepared him for someone like me.  lol

They have been doing the same thing to me and my family.Its so irrating.So I played their game right back and called them back 20 times today and they cussed me out and said the worst most vulgar thing's.Sayin  F me,and I'm going to jail!Weirdos!!What should I do?They have all my personal info!

These jerks call here all the time for an employee.  It's a total scam.  Have fun with them. Ask them specific questions about which state, what court, what statute are you being charged under, etc. They hate it.  Be sure to call your bank and the credit agencies for a fraud alert.

Claimes to have a investigation against my name and ssn.. Said state police had him call. Requested my personal information which then I hung up. If I was under investigation for who the hell knows they would have my information already. Such a scam. If the harrassment continues I'll report them for sure.

These people got a hold of me yesterday and had me so upset I had to pull my car over. It took me a minute to realize something wasn't right with them and reverse the number they were calling from. They had all my correct information(social,job,phone number). Even after I told them they were a scam, they called and called. These people just won't give up.

They called me and woke me up out my sleep, with the same harassing phone calls. Strong Indian accents with American names. Dead a** give away. I google payday fraud  calls and got several sites about people complaining. I cursed them out and blocked them. By my understanding, there is nothing anyone can do because they are in India.

i keep getting these calls too.back in february i answered when they called.all they want is your banking info to rob you blind.he told me i would be arrested in 30 minutes and i'm still not in jail because it's a scam.don't give any info or confirm what info they have.

Hi I just had a message and two missed calls on my cell from this person as well claiming to be a police officer and he called my job and threatened to call my job again claiming to get me fired but I had one of these calls before and looked the number up online and what do you know other people were going through the exact same thing but I will not fret I don't care who he is but he isn't a officer of the law that much I do know and I asked him questions that he obviously didn't want to answer so he Hung up on me and I don't feel to great today and he's harassing me I just want this person to not call me again

contact your local Better Business Bureau, They are always looking for information into scams and looking for situations to inform the public about.

SOB called and left a msg on my cell saing he was an officer, again same story with an American name and the strongest Middle Eastern accent you could imagine!  Said I need an attorney to represent me and contact them.  Then called my work 3x, after picking up and hanging up receiver each and everythime without saying a word to them!  F' n A-holes!

This guy has called here again three times in a row. He was saying he was going to call my work. I told him to go ahead that I don't work. I just hung up and he kept calling back. He is very bold and rude. I get really nervous over these calls this man needs to be stopped. He has been calling my house for over two weeks now. What a loser.
