I have received several calls from this number and they left a mesage saying to call them immediately or they could not be responsable for the legal matter that is about to come down upon me. They say have your attorney or yourself call back. I dont know what this is for exactly but It seems really really fishy because it is a Arabic person calling and I know for a fact the only debt I have out there is an old cell phone bill. I have never taken out any payday loans or etc. I think this is a scam to try to freak people out so they call and release their ersonal INFO.....DONT DO IT people. When you get sued there has to be a judgement filed in the state you accumulated the debt so yeah collecting from India doesnt fit HUH!!!!!!

Guy named Khalil Jordan called me to say he is suing my social security number.  I asked him why and he said because I took a pay day loan out.  Told him I paid it,and he told me good luck and hung up.  I called the number back just to see what would happen and he answered it, Khalil Jordan.

They called me and I told them if they call again I will knock their dot off. Then they muttered something and hung up

I have received a number of phone calls from this number within the last 2 weeks or so. At first, the guy with a heavy african sounding accent was accusing me of having unpaid payday loans, I said no and hung up. About a week later they started calling again leaving irate messages saying that my time was running out and that I would be taken to court for check fraud and theft from the company they represent which they could never tell me what company that was..just that he was an officer at some firm. It sounded like he said Tanzania or Cantonese...but they all had american names like Sam Taylor, William Bennett and Marcus Howard or Howell. When I demanded them to send me an official letter ( because at this point I knew it was fraudulent), they refused. I was even transferred to about 4 different men, all with even more confusing accents than the last and they all said the same things and never completely answered my questions. They had all my information already..my social, my bank info, my address. I had not given them any of this information. I've already closed that account...Im not sure what to do  about them having my social...but I am reporting this to the police and whoever else needs to know.

To everyone that reads this page. All these calls are coming from mid-eastern people that are just trying to scam us hard working americans. You can either ignore the calls (they will eventually get tired and move on) or you can change your number. And REPORT all the calls and numbers to your local authorities, FBI, Homeland security and other bureau that will listen. Also, be mindful that these calls are coming from more than one number. I have gotten them from (303)732-3697 and 9 other different numbers.

I received the same exact call. I have been for the last week. I just laugh at each message. scam!!

These Foreigners have been calling me for months from so many different numbers there is not room to list them all. Yes it is a scam and they will tell you that you took out a loan and it was turned in for collection. I just hang up now whenever they call. I keep reporting the numbers on the FBI website. From what I understand these non-americans have been caught in the past and fined many times.
They cannot provide any info about the so called loan-nor can they provide a mailing address for their company-or should I say for whichever company they are TODAY.

I get a call from this number every week day @ the same time.  Guy with thick accent saying his name,  my last 4 social and I am going to be taken to court. HOWEVER, he never states what company he is with or "collecting from".  I also get random calls from the 0ed out number.

I have the same story as everybody else and have had to turn my phone off to make the calls end. They said my ssn # and  my email address ! Not impressed  thats s*** anybody can get . DO NOT let these idiots convince you of anything. They are scammers!! For every 5 people who blow them off, there's one person who gets scared and believes their lies. They are NOT LEGIT. I have stopped arguing with them about some payday loan they say I received. I DID NOT EVER take out any sort of loan, at all, ever. Please don't believe them.

Received 7 calls from (710-000-02) before 8 am this morning - from some person that I could not understand who obviously was reading from a script and got upset when I interrupted him and told him that I don't know who he is but that if they don't quit calling I would report them to the FTC.

They called yesterday as well and left 3 voicemails and the phone number to return the call was 661-240-9162.  Did not call them back.

At 7:53 AM this morning (UT Time) I received a message with a person saying "hello, hello" then hung up. Then at 7:55 AM (UT Time) received a call from the same number 661-240-9162. This time the idiot left a message. He said his name is Danny Moore he is with a Law Firm etc etc and wanted me or my Attorney to call him back. I call back of course because 4/11/11 I filed BK 7 and obtained a case number from my Attorney then. I wanted to make sure who ever this idiot is he had my BK information.
Well my story is basically the same as everyone elses on this situation. Then I got thinking about 3 weeks ago I received a phone call from 704-969-0044. A person with a middle eastern accent and same situation. When I called that number nobody answered. And that is a North Carolina Area Code. And that person said I had a payday loan way back when. This person indicated they was able to obtain my bank information and rattled off some numbers.
This is B.S. It needs to stop. Not only needs to stop for me but for everyone else this is happening to.

The same thing has happened to me yesterday. I asked them for the date for when the funds were posted into my account and the guy said he couldn't give it to me. He told me his name was Mason Peterson. Left a message saying that he was taking me to court because I refused to pay off a Cash Advance loan for $456. When I called the number back, no one says the name of the company or law firm that he claims to be calling from and he calls me unknown. A real creditor or collection agency will not call someone unknown. I told them I was reporting them to the police and I also checked my credit reports.

I recieved a call from this number about three times in the matter of 15 minutes. Telling me that I took out a Cash Advance for $456 and refused to pay it back and told me that I would be taken to court. I told them that it was a scam and they hung up. Then they called back again and I asked them for the date that the money was posted in my account and they started yelling and saying that I did take out a loan and I will be taken to court.

I keep getting calls from the following numbers.  +052664012 or +0000000000. They have called me about 10 times. However they have only left one message telling me to call them back  at number 661-240-9162 He said his name is Samue I highly doubt that I could hardly understand him  he has a very thick middle eastern accient. His message said that he is an officer and that I have a lein on my credit and SS# for a loan and not to ignore this matter.    I have never taken a payday loan out in my life and he is telling me he is going to take me to court.  Not sure what to do with this because when I looked the number there is no company listed.  Only loans I ever had were for my car and house which both have been paid off for the past 3 years and through local banks in my town.   Does anyone know who this could be  and what or how to report this?  I beleive this is a huge scam you could here people talking in the background like it was a call center or something.

It's been happening to me for a year now and it hasn't worked so I don't know why they keep trying. A Local Detective already told him to stop calling me. I had this message waiting for me when I got to work this morning. Have no fear of these people and for God's sake, do not send them any money.

I received the same call.  I called them back at the 661-240-9162 number.  They can't receive calls to that number so they called me back immediately.  I told them that this was a scam and I was going to contact the FTC.  He said oh no it is not a scam in broken english and that he represents a law agency.  I said if you know the law, then you know you can't take me to court in the state I live in for this this type of thing.  He said it is not a scam.  I replied to him that I do nothing over the phone, that he will have to mail me all documents, he said it is not a scam we will take you to court.

They have called several time and have sed the same thing and each time it is from a foregn  numer like +052664012 or +0000000000. They will these two call back numbers 661-240-9162 or 718-764-068. I have called the PA State Attorney Generals office, The Federal Trade Commission and my local police. They say there is nothing they can do about it because it is an overseas scam. Their phone numbers seem to orginate from Florida and California althought I did receive a call with a Levittown exchange.

A male with a heavy foreign accent says he with United Nations Law Firm or  Dept of Justice, threatens me about paying back a pay day loan. I contacted the pay day loan company and they apologized and sent me an email saying they are working with agencies trying to stop the fraudulent ring of debt collectors but they too believe it is outside the country.

They called and stated that I had a payday loan that I owed for and I never even applied for a payday loan. This is the 2nd time that I have received a call from these people. I just told them to never call my phone again.
