Unfortunately, our tax-paid: Don't Call List, proved to be of no help against unwanted callers. I am considering a call-blocker device that I have seen being sold on the internet. There are a few different versions costing about $60-$100. Again, costly government programs fail while inexpensive private industry devices work (according to the many positive call-blocker device reviews that I have read).

I have been receiving weird phone calls like this lately

I have been getting calls from this number too.  They do not leave a message. The number is listed to Edies German Deli & Restaurant in  Fazier Park, CA..   I have never been there and I have no idea why they would call me.  Maybe a telemarketer is spoofing their number so people will answer.   I have blocked the number.

This phone # has called me everyday around the same time in the morning.  I see it on my caller ID but I don't pick up and no message is left.

Called again today!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea who or where this call is comming from. They never stop and I never answer. Someday I'll find out.

The person who calls from this number is a serial rapist. Do not let your children answer the phone if this person calls. Please report the call immediately to the FBI and your local police so that they can trace the number.

Someone called, nobody there and spouse hung up on them.

Caller ID: OUT OF AREA". Leaves no mssg.

The caller called us again @11.02,02/11/2013, I just returned home. I returned the call by clicking on : talk. Message" You have reached the number not in services: It called us daily in last 4 days.

The caller, 661-242-7282,  called us @14:11, 02/07/2013. We were out. I returned the call 20:52, 02/09/2012. " You have dialed the not working number.".

"number was "disconnected."" means the number is spoofed  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing  and your caller should be treated as hostile.

Number 661-242-7282 keeps calling and when I call it back it says it's 'disconnected'.

31 Jan 2013 -- 3:59 pm -- multiple calls from this number.  Caller ID said "unknown".  No message was left.

Same thing happened to me except they asked for someone who was not home and when I stated they weren't here, the jerk asked me if I was sure and then hung up.  I want to call them and give them a piece of my mind.

Someone from this number called and asked for me when I said it was me they hung up

Someone called and didn't leave a message. i called back and number was "disconnected."  I'm sure it was a computer and now that I called back- they know when to call me. don't pick up.
