Keeps calling on my cell phone, never leaves a message- 5 calls this morning alone.  Called after 9pm on 8/6/13. This is a government and student loan debt collection agency.

The also call people on your Facebook Contact list as well as LinkedIn and somehow from my Outlook contacts to badger them if they know an individual. They never identify themselves to the person being called and say tell the person they were recently used as a reference. They do not identify what the reference was fo and trap people into divulging private information they have no business knowing.

This "company" operates outside the law and is government backed by Sallie Mae.

Called several friends and acquaintances asking for private information without identifying themselves to the person being called. This is illegal as it is required by law they identify themselves, the company they work for, and why they are calling.

They mislead the person being called into thinking it is about a job interview, or some other thing they were used as a reference for.

Alert family and friends about this fraudulent and deceitful company who operates outside the law.

Has been callng my cell phone every day - no message.  This is a collection agency for student loans and government agencies.  I have neither but they will chase after relatives and acquaintances.

My brother in law received a call from 661-328-6669, claiming to be a job that i applied for, Girls name on vcml Patti Jacobs.  Called that # back and it is a collection agency claiming if i don't pay some debt thats not mine that they will come and put me in jail.

"Pat Vega"  called me from ACT informing me that i was a refene for my uncle.  She also asked about the relationship between my uncle and one of his friends.  My uncle is in his late sixties and has had several health issues lately.  "Pat" did not want to share with me the nature of her call.  She did, however, ask me if my uincle had been gainfully employed during the last year.

Received a call from this number at my parents house and on my cell phone.  The caller told lies stating that they received my application and that I put my mother and an old (no longer friends) friend down as refrences???? interesting!
