I got this call on 6/19/2014 at 2:24PM...it was an appointment reminder for someone I have scheduled to see in a few days.  It was an automated message.

661-380-3000 is a recorded message that was confirming a doctor's appointment that I have coming up. it shows up as unavailable on the caller ID. I almost didn't answer it. I guess it is a service that doctors can buy.

I got a call this morning and it was only one ring and no one there.  Got another call this afternoon and it was a recording from my doctor's office reminding me of an appointment on Monday.  The area code is California but I live in Maryland.

This is a generic Google voice or Skype (not sure which one) number that my doctor uses to send appointment reminders. I usually let it go to voice mail and a generic message is left on my phone. I'm thinking that this can be used by anyone when using online phone via Google or Skype. I haven't had any debt collectors or telemarketers call me from this number.

I recived a call from 661-380-3000 and then some person with the number from Skype 661-748-0241 calls me after I don't pick up the recent 661-380-3000 number. I pick up the phone, That person says he's Slendy and he wants his $20 from me.
And I just hung up. Scammer no pay for you.

My boss receives calls from that number.  When he answers, it's a recording identifying itself as a doctor's office calling to remind someone of an appointment.  When I called to call the doctor's office to advise that they had a wrong number, the recording told me that that "phone number is associated with a call that originated form a voice service provider and is not associated with any specific users and that the subscriber who originated the call cannot be reached at this number.  Any information regarding the nature of this call will be provided only upon a request through the approrpiate law enforcement agency."  

I got a call from this number. It was my doctor office automated caller reminding me about an appointment.

I just got a call from this number too and everyone is right - it is a Skype account. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number (been getting telemarketing calls all day even though my number is on the Do Not Call list...) but a message was left. Turns out it was my doctor's office reminding me of an appointment that I next week. I found it odd but it was a legitimate call.

I received a call from this number today and I let it go to voicemail figuring it was bs of some sort.  A voicemail was left.  It was a reminder for a doctor appointment I have tomorrow.

Just another "hang up" call, regardless of the service it's on.

Message turned out to be an automated reminded of a doctor's appointment.  Very bad programming - voice is very automated sounding and the doctor's name was totally slaughtered.  In the past I have received a human voice reminder - this appears to be a new system.

Recieved same call.  Traced.  Redialed and received recorded message saying caller does not wish to be identified.   Still investigating 4/22/13.  Thanks for posting.  It has helped me narrow my search.  Will post if I find something.

Another call where no one is at the other end.  I called this one back and got some long message about the number is not assigned to anyone in particular and the party that used it can not be reached.

They constantly call to inform me my house is discounted for remodelling.  I have constantly informed the middleeastern gentleman that i am reporting the to the better business bureau for harrassment.  I work midnight shift and constant doubles.  I dont need these calls when im trying to sleep.

Got a call from a 70 year old man screaming at me and threatening to slit my throat.the number came up as 661-380-3000. He said stop calling him, he said he had hundreds of call from my number. I asked him if he was calling from the nuber on the caller id and he said no. I tried calling it back an the same guy answered but the number came up as 661-748-0240. If this Is (and I assume it is) skype, how did it redirect the number? I am confused.

I have been gettin harrasing sexualy rude phone calls from a Skype number 661 748 0240.. I do not even have Skype and I do not know who this person is and I am trying to find a way to report it..I NEED HELP..

My company's voicemail system was hacked over the weekend and hundreds of calls from this number were routed through our curcuits to Afghanistan.   (over 900 calls in ~24 hours)
These are serious Hackers.

I got a call from this number from past six months. He said he's a famous rapper apparently and  he said he's my ex but I don't even know him. I am only fifeteen and I don't know how he got my number I changed it twice!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it was Pajama Gal.

Was a call reminding me of a doctor's appointment. It's a Computer.

When you call this number back it is not assigned to a scubscriber.  My phone is not eligible for Google Voice to block or monitor unknown numbers.

I just got a call from 661-380-3000.  The guy said he was from Toshiba Electronics.  He said that I and my partner had shopped at a mall recently and submitted an entry in a contest.  None of that was true.  I told him I was on the do not call list and that he should never call my number again.  He started out saying "is your number 703-###-###.  I said yes and then he started in.  I hung up on him.
