I called them back. The person answering said "Thank you for calling PC Trackers. How may I direct you call." I simply remained on mute until they hung up but now I know who they are.

I returned a call to 661-453-1611. Answered by a person speaking poor English who could barely articulate why I had received a call. Did get across that his concern related to my computer being used in some unauthorized connection. I deep-sixed the call and Googled the number. BTW, who the hell runs 800notes.com?

This guy with thick accent called me that I sent malicious malware on my computer. Caller ID showed VoiP caller. I heard that accent before while watching Caught on Camera, who scammed people that you won a million dollars. He wanted me to go to computer to show me how to fix it. I told him that my internet is not working. He said that I don't have to be online. I asked him who he was and told me that he is a computer technician. I told him again that my internet is not working for weeks and did not use my computer, so there is no way that I sent out a virus. :-) I hang up on him. I hope he won't back but I doubt it.

To all who is saying these people are not dangerous, you are part of the company trying to steal peoples Identity. For one Windows is through Microsoft, and they do not call nor do they have any idea what your computer is doing unless you have opened your computer up to them. For two the things you want people to open and do with their companies like give you access to their computer remotely is the way you steal everything off their computer because if people are not aware of what you are doing, it can be very dangerous.
People once you allow these kinds of phone calls and people into your computer, your world is going to be turned upside down. Not only can they steal everything about you, they also then have access of your pictures, where you live, and your children. WINDOWS is an operating system, not a company!!!!! Microsoft is the developer of windows. Be very cautious about what is going on, and if you have virus protection, then it is going to tell you what is wrong with your computer. The people that are calling will make you a victim, and they are too lazy to get a job so they steal from you. Hacking and scamming is an easy way to get money from people who work hard for their money. The list goes on and on and on. Don't fall victim to such slim bags that want something for nothing. Here is a website for consumers that is updated everyday with the new scams out there http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/scam-alerts I have gotten these calls too, they get your phone number and just start calling you. If they don't have all your information don't give it too them for they are out to take everything from you.

These guys have called multiple times. They say they have received error reports from my computer and want to help me fix them. I asked how they got my number (cell)? They said thier research team uncovered it. I asked which version of Windows is creating this error as I had several computers with different OS? They said ALL versions of Windows. I asked, from which IP address did the error come from? They could not answer. I asked what name is assosiated with this number? They could not answer. I asked them NOT to call again but they continue to call. They want me to go to my computer and do something. It's probably to disable some protective function.

You're so full of ish! You're such a liar. And you're dumb. When do you give up? How many times do you need the same person at the same number to hang up on you before you stop calling them?
| Soldier Girl 2014-04-02 22:33:56 Unknown |
Do you work for them? Because the ONLY time I answered one of their calls the first information they wanted was my banking info so I gave it them, from a closed account to see what would happen. Guess what happened? Then they tried to charge me for the returned virtual check that t hey tried to draw on a CLOSED account. I know it is not legal but neither what they are doing.

They call and say they are from Microsoft technologies or other computer company. Then they tell you that they are receiving error messages from your computer(LIE) then they offered to help fix the nonexistent problem for a price or ask for access to your system(DON'T DO IT). I Use Ubuntu(Linux) but mess with them and just start making stuff up for a laugh but these people are truly scrum that lives under a gas station toilet ,worst of the worst.

Sir you were scammed they have control over your computer, and they are a NOT a real company , hope you did not give them CC# or let them have any computer access or details if so cancel Credit Card or get help with your computer by a real technician never by phone
| cl 2014-02-05 23:00:46 Telemarketer |
I too received this call out of the blue. They said they recieved information that my computer was having errors. Did not add up. For those of you that think they may have helped you. I would urge you to read this : http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/20 ... uirty-scam.html
Check your credit reports, monitor bank accounts, better yet change everything. You have now allowed them access to all of your information, which nothing may happen right away, but when it does.... it will suck!
