same information, i knew something was funny, I DONT EVEN WORK! LOL I am on the east coast! for other readers, it is just a scam, DO NOT WORRY. I received the same calls a couple years ago, numerous times, over and over again, and so did my daughter about me, she turned the number into a website, and never received another call from them or the number again!

The information is being hacked/illegally obtained somehow..

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Said I would be arrested at my workplace and had my address said officers would be at my door soon I've applied for online loans recently I assume my information was sold

I receives the same message I see others below have received. No mention of my name just an angry yelled message, "A complaint has been filed against you! You will be arrested by police officers at your home or at your work! See you in court!" This was an angry husky voiced African American woman to my ears.
After being harassed on the phone by an ex boyfriend last night this scared the sh-- out of me! Thank you to all posters below for calming my nerves.

Just got a call too..didn't even listen to it. It's stupid. There would have to be a warrent out for your arrest  and usually when there is a warrent that means you missed some kind of court date, etc. I wish they would pass a bill (besides the Do Not Call List) to stop these people.

Here's what we can do to stop these vermin condom accidents in their tracks.  All it takes is a computer and a phone line for unlimited domestic calling, a computer modem and set it for repeat dial. Windows XP and above comes with a built in scanner/Fax app.  If these turds just let it ring it goes to voicemail and then it constantly gets filled up with nothing.  Set your phone so the number is blocked.

Its a bunch of crap and against all consumer collection laws! I get these calls at work and on my cell.I just ignore them because they aren't even worth my time. Ive asked them to stop and they dont its ridiculous wish there was a way to prosecute them

Yes, I just got the same phone call followed by the same exact message!  I can not believe the audacity of these people!!

I received the same threatening voice message.  I am happy to see I am not the only one because I nearly had a heart attack.  I hope law enforcement sees this and does something.  Telemarketing is one thing but threatening a person should not be tolerated.

I received this call to n they were very mean to me n threaten me abt seein me in court,sending law enforcement to my hm n job. I have a new email,hm address n they were using all old addresses n wouldnt send me proof thru fax that I owe so I didnt worry abt it anymore. All of this frm 16615056751 number. That was a good idea. I called the number back and an Indian woman answered the phone saying they were some atty office. I told her that I need an address and name because my husband is a DA and will take care of it. Then I told her "by the way this is being recorded" she hung up. So I called her back and left her a message because I knew she was not going to answer. I told her that I will be passing the number on to the DA office and that she need to call me back with an address and name. So seeing that they want to harass people, I am calling her every single day and harass and scare her like she has done each and everyone of you.

I received a VM for the same thing I called back and asked what it was regarding and what it was for and they started yelling after I said I was recording this phone called and too see me in court and hungup iI called back and went straight to VM.

I just received the same call can did not answer the phone because I did not know the number. He left a message saying I will be arrested and asked me to call them back to take care of the matter. I am not calling him back and cant' wait for him to call me back so I can ask him for their address and tell him my husband is a DA and will take care of it for me.
I received a call like that before and answered it and when I asked the guy to tell me what account the money went into he called me the B word and hung up.
They need to get a real job because what goes around comes around so too bad for them.

Received this call. Didn't leave a message. Called several times before. Figured it was a scam.

I received a voicemail from a India guy stating I have a lawsuit and will be arrest at home or work.

Lol called me saying i was getting sued by state of california
I knew it was a scam so I asked to call them back
i talked to someone and they canged it to theres been a complaint against me and i will face jail time for it.
they couldnt even keep their story straight.

Same exact thing happened to me! They had left me a pretty threatening voice mail about arresting me blah blah blah..They refused to tell me who they were when I called them back and they hung up on me several times. One guy answered and told me to stop calling them! LOL anyways, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau we'll see what happens next..

I told the person on the phone he was being recorded, after he told me I would be arrested at my house. He hung up immediately. I then called him back, and he gave me a completely different story, when I told him he was still being recorded he hung up again, and now will not answer the phone

I got the same call and I they had my home address. I tried to call back and now it will not take my call. I and they used an old email.

Got the same freaking message today and Let me tell ya I am deaf and hard of hearing and he even hung up on me telling me that I should know what this is all about.  Ha just a scam!

When i called them back i was plaved on hold fpr a long time after o refused to give them my name and said you called me , if you have my number you should know who I am . When someone finally came back on the line i told them that i did not appreciate the scam phone calls and if i received another call from tjem that i would be the one filing a report and sending them to jail ! I was then hung up on. Hopefully tjat will be the end of them calling me .
