I really would like to stop getting harassed by this phone number! Does posting on this site actually do anything to solve the problem? Is a formal complaint/report sent to Greenpeace?

Quit advertising for the keystone pipeline. I wouldn't doubt that you, who calls me, have something to do with these calls.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone, and it's starting to really aggravate me. I have my cell phone number on the Do-Not-Call list. Please do something about shutting these pests down.

It is not Greenpeace just someone posing as Greenpeace. Anyone can get the text in caller id to be what ever it is.
I use phone lookup to verify numbers.

They call everyday, no one talks.

I get a call from them everyday. Just dead sir on the one time I accidentally answered.

Typically the best thing to do if you get fundraising calls everyday is to pick up the phone and ask that the caller put you on their do not call list. If they call back the next day ask to speak with their supervisor and have them place you on their do not call list. The problem with the National Do Not Call List is that it only applies to for profit companies calling listed numbers.

I have receive no less than _14_ calls from this number over the last two and a half weeks.  I never answer, I never get a message.  I'm on the Do Not Call registry and have reported them - which I am convinced does absolutly nothing.

I receive so many robo/telemarketing/scam phone calls (and never answer) on my mobile I am seriously thinking about getting a new number.  Not sure if that would help (especially with the robo-calls) but it this is getting out of hand.

In the past 2 weeks have received many calls from this number. I answered once, no response, just dead air. Must be robo-dialing is my guess.

It's Greenpeace. If you answer the phone, they are silent until you say something. They won't leave voicemails. I asked them to take me off their call list, and the guy said that they were just wondering if they could count on me for a monthly donation. When I said they couldn't and repeated my request for them to stop all calls, he told me thank you and goodbye... I don't think I'm off the list... We shall see...

I hate this type of calls...you pick up and no one is on the other side....

Yeah, this is "Green Peace" alright... Soliciting money for some unknown environmental threat that you've never heard of. And they're never happy with a one time donation, they want you to sign up for a monthly payment... think again!

They called me almost every day for over a month and never left a message.  I screen my phone calls when I don't recognize the number so never found out who they were, just blocked them.  Somebody said it's Greenpeace which makes sense because I used to donate to them before becoming even more poor.

Hey Greenpeace, if you read this: identify yourself when you call people, I expect you'd have better luck than harassing people who might otherwise want to help.

If youve previously donated to them or they have had you on file. They are calling for more money.

Do the same rules apply if I'm on the official Do Not Call list for telemarketers?  There are applicable laws against such calls...

Just received a call.  They left a silent voicemail.

Called them back.  Held for about 10 seconds and then told the guy to remove my number.  He confirmed it and said he would get that done right away.  That's it.  No attempt at getting me to donate or anything.

As the other posts state, I am called daily and no messages are left.

get calls twice a day, every day.  no message, so annoying.

It's Greenpeace (amazing organization & entirely donation funded) calling and they are calling me probably because I changed by credit card number, because of fraud and didn't update my account with them for my monthly donation.  I will be doing that today. ;0)
Here's an idea if they are bothering you...answer the phone and ask them to take you off their list.  That's it...DONE!

It is Greenpeace donor services.  They call no message but when i called back....Greenpeace donor service outgoing message, no human though they just called seconds ago

GreenPeace donor services. They call just about every day, sometimes 2-3 times a day. I get a voicemail that has no info every time.
