Agreed, Gina. I'm in Oregon as well, just got this number two days ago, and received the same message as everyone else. And here I thought I was making a new friend. Lame. :((

I received a message from this number today - hi Gina..  I responded back hi who is this with no reply.  I came across this website and see that this number has been popping up a lot this week.  Looks like they have moved on to Oregon.   Whoever this number belongs to needs to learn etiquette. If they are using this number as a means of solicitation my guess is it is for ill purposes.

I got a text "hey (my  name) ???"  I'm not responding to it. Hate when this happens.

I text back and told them to get lost. It worked. It is someone wanting to charge to flirt. Sick, I have better things to do.

I received a text "Hola Sgt (my first name)" on my government phone. I am also living in Colorado as many of you are. The only way someone can get my number is from me giving to them for recruiting purposes OR through my FB which is public. The latter is how i believe they received it.

I'm also from Colorado.... Does anyone use or have used mocospace?

Same thing "hi Zack" Messaged back and no reply, called it and its for a texting service from California. Wtf peeps! Im also from Colorado. Must be something they are doing with people here.

Received a text msg similar  to what  others have reported  " Hola ( my name) ??"

Did not reply to the text. I happen to be from Colorado and it appears this number is associated with someone or a business in California.
