Did you guys see the news on the South Asia arrest of 800 people for doing smiliar scams.  I hope the FTC, FBI, and my local law enforcement get these payday loan scammers!!!  Still no responce on getting address or to whom to send this money back to that I never asked for!!

I got this same phone from a man with a accent saying have I ever got a payday loan in life. . WTF He said that he would send the police for me if I didn't pay the debt today. BS people will do anything for money !!!!

They are still calling.  I too was given a deposit into my account that I did not sign for or auth.  I have contacted them serveral times and faxed letters to SSM group asking them to tell me where to send back this money.  My checking was not opened at the time of the deposit so it went to my savings.  I didn't know I got anything until an email came about the deposit.  One of the police officers where I worked even tried to tell them to stop calling me.  The first phone call the hung up on him.  Second they started to tell him about a loan I owe.  He told them to go through the proper channels and they told him that he too would be sued and then hung up again.  I talked to my bank and they are going to wire the money back on Friday.  My fault for faxing a letter and giving SSM group, or whoever they are, til Friday to tell me where to mail money back to.  Ouch......will keep eveyone updated.

I've been getting calls from all these different numbers and different names all saying I owe money blah blah blah. Today it was from this number and for the first time it was a female.

I've known it was a scam from day one. Just tell them thier being recorded and your going to hand it over to the FBI lol.

Have the numbers blocked, the cops cant do anything.

Same here!!!!  Mr. Shawn told me that I owed 1823.60 which included court fees, filing fees, attorney fees...etc.  They had no interest of recovering the money (Client's money). That on Wednesday I would be served and or arrested if I didn't Western Union then 325.00 and pay 200.00 every other week til debit was paid.  I have no idea who they are collecting for.  Mr. Brown and Mr. Shawn refused to give me a Validation of Debit and only after I paid would I get all the information I needed.  I just called and spoke with someone and told them I reported them to the Florida Law Enforcement Hillsborough County Fraud/Scam Department and never to call me again.  He just said yes mama and hung up.  I have contacted my employer and had a fraud alert added and closed my bank account.  I have had such a bad weekend of this cramp!  PS, change you phone number as well!

I filled  my complaint with the Federal Trade Commission!  There is still more that needs to be done to protect myself from these types of calls.

I had this lady by the name of Lisa Jones calling from the 661-731-3186 and also a lady by the name of Sherry Washington calling from 814-324-2022. They both are saying the same thing about a lawsuit and they do not speak english as well. These people need to be stopped I actually turned them into the news station as well as the better business burial.

I RECIEVED A CALL AT WORK TODAY. THIS MIDDLE EASTERN GENTLEMEN STARTED TELLING ME I WAS NAMED IN A LAW SUIT FOR A PAYDAY LOAN. HE COULD NOT GIVE ME A DATE THE PAYDAY LOAN WAS OPEN, ORIGINAL AMOUNT, BUT HE COULD TELL ME I OWED 8000 INCLUDING THE MONEY FOR BAIL. THE GENTLEMEN SAID HE WAS FROM HOPKINS LAW FIRM AND GAVE THIS NUMBER ... HE ASKED HOW I WAS GOING TO HANDLE IT TODAY. I WAS ASKING QUESTIONS BUT ALL HE SAID WAS THAT IT WAS CHARGED OFF ON AUGUST 4, 2011 BUT HE COULD NOT EVEN SAY AUGUST CORRECTLY. I CALLED BACK AND ASKED FOR TOM AND HE SAID IF HE LEFT YOU A MESSAGE I WILL HELP YOU. I ASKED FOR THE LAWYER HIMSELF AND HE STATED THAT HE LEFT.

This number has been calling my cell off the hook. He left several voice mails. I couldnt really understand him due to his strong accent. He called himself Adam Jones. I did call him back and I knew everything that he was telling me was a lie.  So I played along with him. to make long sti=ory short, he wanted me to western union 665.00 dollars today before his office closes or else he would have no other choice but to go the court house tomorrow and have a warrant for my arrest. I started to laugh and he got mad and he said why are you laughing, I told him ill make a deal with you right now, he said what kind of a deal. I told to suck my *&%#@ and if he does a good job I'll think about sending him the money. After that he hung up and never called me back.

Got a bunch of calls from "Henry" over the last few days. Called him back today with a real police officer friend on the line and notified them they were being recorded which is legal in my state. I let "Henry" go through his chat and when I told him the line was possibly about to be traced he hung up. I called back several times with *67 and eventually he told me a supervisor would call me within 60 minutes. Doubtful. LOL He kept pushing buttons on his phone and acting like he couldn't hear me. I intend to do this to him for a few days, or until i get removed from their "list". :) I do intend to cause them as much trouble as i can, since I basically have them for slander, verbal abuse, and misrepresentation. Probably can't do anything legal to them yet... Good luck to all!

I have been getting calls for 2 months from Ron Baxter with Kroger Legal Assoc.  at one point wanting me to send money via western union to geraldine white in newark , nj.  He is supposedly in California via India I think.  He is very threatening and obnoxious.  I am done. This is obviously a scam, is there any government agency looking into this.  Newest number that I have is 8182754512.

I got 3 calls from this number (661) 731-3186. " Jolena" had a strong indian accent barely understood. Claims that i need to call her right away that i have money owed to her company and they are taking legal action against me. That i better call her or have my attorney call them right away or else. I have completely blocked their number which my phone still keeps records of their calls. In the space it took me to write this note 3 minutes tops they have called me 11 times! Bunch of scamers!

Well guys, now it Rory Jensen and Richard Murray.  These morons are effin idiots.  Don't they know that we all have access to the internet.  When they threatened me with jail, I told them not to bother.  I politely told them that I would save them the trouble and report to my local local police department and turn myself in.  Fools didn't know what to say.  Every time they demand money, I tell em to bite me!

same retards called me , started like a week ago, its been maybe 5 times overall, i called them back once and just told them they had the wrong person but they didnt want to mess with who they were trying to contact ... lol.  going to contact police and such this weekend.

I have been getting calls from this company back to back from international numbers, I finally called the number they provided, advised the person that speaks heavy Indian that I would like my number removed from their calling list immediately, the person started to snicker and said ok. I asked what was so funny and he said "nothing" I asked for his sup and he refused. I advised to him that I was contacting the FCC and the FBI for this scam that his company was doing and he started to laugh, and mock me "OH no don't call the FBI". I asked him was so funny about that, that this is harrassment and against the law, he kept on saying over and over while laughing "Oh no, don't call the FBI"  I hung up the phone with this jerk and immediately found the local FBI office in my area. The person that answered the phone, was nice at first, as I told her my story, she interrupted me and told me that I need to report this to their link on their website for internet scam. I asked her why this has nothing to do with the internet that this is on my cell phone from another country and that this is harrassement and could be considered Terriorism. She stated that there is nothing that they will do, that I need to contact my phone company to report it. I again asked her for what? This is coming from international lines, she asked me if they have scammed me yet. I said no, but I wanted to report it so that it can be taken care of by the appropriate people who I would think would be the government. She stated if they haven't done anything and since they are in Nigeria (of which I never mentioned where or what the accent was, because she never allowed me to) that there is nothing that can be done because there are no laws in Nigeria about this. I was dumbfounded, she didn't take any information, she didn't file a report, all she did was blow me off. I guess that's how they treat legit US citizens especially ones that have fought and defended for this country.  So I'm at my wits end now about doing something about this, but the government is not even concerned that we are being threatened and harressed by other countries. HELP ME!!!

Brandon Taylor called from 661-731-3186 stating I owed money, world would collapse if I didn't pay, same song and dance as everyone else. This company called me before and when I told them that I already alerted the local police and the FTC they became panicky and said they were a legit company. I did advise Mr. Taylor that if they were legit why would he then become panicky and upset?

What else can be done to stop phone calls from Mr. Taylor and his band of thieves?

This person has called me numerous times, I just let it go to voicemail, telling me I am a prime suspect out in California (never been to California and I live in PA!). This last time he basically threatened me telling me if I didn't respond then he wishes me luck because I'll need it. Really? I'm now reporting this phone number to the local authorities!

Wow, these guys are such tools. They can't speak a lick of English and have no concept of the Fair Debt Collection Act. Then again, THIS ISN'T A VALID DEBT AND IS A SCAM. What they did was hack a payday loan company so they have your information. They throw around a bunch of threats and of course people pay --- the sad part is, even if you do give them money, it won't pay your debt. It will go right into these crook's pockets and your credit report will still have a black mark. DO NOT GIVE THEM A CENT.
I got into it with a man named "Henry" (right...Habib is more like it) and he left a voicemail that said "a situation will unfold upon you." What is this Henry, a murder mystery? He also said he would send people to my employer and to my home and throw me in prison (debtors prisons haven't been around since the days of yore but ok Henry, you just keep believing that)
The number says "0000" on caller ID but the # he leaves as a call back is 661-731-3186. I have a call blocker app on my phone that dumbs these people into voicemail every time. He left a second message saying that he is upset he keeps getting my voicemail.

It has been about 6 months since the last time someone a**le called me.  This time is was a name of Brandon Taylor, I am tempted to call back and raise hell, it was the same stupid lame a** message he read the last time.  I still have the last recordings saved and it is the same guy just a different name.  They need to go back to their country.  Thought our tax dollars were used to protect and serve?  If so then why are we still being victimized????

Someone from this number called me this morning and said that I was being accused of theft and that I was a suspect and that I had to restitute $800.00 in chargers. Thank God I went in the internet, Iw as ready to give him a credit card number. I hope he doesn't call back, his name supposedly was Alex Young. He gave me an extension, # 2348. It really gave me a headache and I don't want him to start calling my job, How can I make sure this doesn't happen again?

OMG I thought it was just me.  These Idiots have been calling me since last year.  John Jackson, Brandon Taylor is the latest name.  The first time I actually called my bank to check the date that he said I got money by fraud, there was no record. Then he wanted to speak to my bank.  The bank officer said absolutely not and not to give him any information. After I cursed him out and told him I am going to sue him he didnt call me back till July and August of this year.   As of yesterday he is still calling me. He wishes me luck if me or my Attorney doesn't call him back.
If you have ever gotten an advance through one of the internet companies that give you $300.00 in your checking acct and you pay them back, which I had previously done.  This may be where they get your information. His number now shows up as 0000. he even calls me at night.

Here is another name from the same number, Brandon Taylor.  Gave me the same speech as above; me or my attorney of record call him right away or else he could only wish me good luck, etc.  The accent is very strong and very difficult to understand.  He keeps calling, calling, and calling.  I have contacted the attorney General's office of my state, the police department and the Fair Trade Commission.  The Attorney General office said to keep track of the calls, what they say and how many times they call.  I smiled and said I don't know if I can keep track of all of these calls, but I will try.

Just received another call from David Williams.  Different name and number but sam old thing.  Call me back right away because we need to send you documents to clear up a legal matter.  Do they think we are stupid.  How many time do they need to call before they realize we are on to their scam.

just received a message on my cell from a very phony John Miller from this number. Same bunch of E. Indian idiots who have been calling since the beginning of the year.  Two weeks ago he was Ryan Morris from 818-275-4539 reading the same stupid script of doom and gloom if you do not call back....I called them back 10 times in a row to harass them and tell them to remove my name and numbers from their scam call list.  
please report every name and number they use and file a complaint with the FTC with the info.
