Automated collection for University of Phoenix for a person who previously had our number.

I am on the do not call list and on my cell phone.  They should not call.  I did not recognize the number and so I did not answer.  The list is not effective to stop these calls.

I live in bakersfield and also recieve this call to my cell all the time, people who live on farms here are very wealthy and are not scamming people, 661 also is lancaster and palmdale..

Called me and left no vm.  Blacklisted their number on my phone.

Several telemarketing calls from 6617350150 on landline, cell, and Skype.  All numbers are registered with Do Not Call Federal and CA.

We're getting hang-up calls from this number.  Very rude.

I'm sorry I missed the call because my cell is set to silent during the day.  I received a "missed call" at 2:09pm.  No voicemail.  If you try to call back (I used a different phone to call) there is no ring.. just a silent hiss.. doesn't accept incoming calls.  Definitely some type of sales-cheese or marketing mess trying to get through.  I love harrassing these people back.. oh well.

I spoke with Progressive Insurance (got the real number online), since that is the name that was given in the pre-recorded message. They said they will remove me from the list and I let them know I would be reporting them, since I am on the do not call list and have not asked for their services. I also asked that she verify that was indeed their number and she confirmed it was.

Just got a phone call from this number. Didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

Me to rec'd call this morn .. filed complaint.. went to register do not call again and said I maxed out to reg my #'s.. wt heck does that mean am i on the list or not..

I just reported this number to the do not call registry .

Got a call from this number - someone should post it on craigs list for a free tv or something and see how he likes random calls about BS...and for the person that he told he didn't have time to mess around, seriously? It's ok for him to disturb everybody else but his time is important, huh? Lols

Wow. Almost the same exact thing happened to  me. Mumbled some alleged company name and said they work with a variety of insurance companies. Cheeseball telemarketing. When I asked if he thought I had auto insurance on California cars he asked if Im in California. I said no, and he said he didnt have time to mess around with ... something, and then hung up on me.

Received call from this number posing as some sort of auto insurance watchdog commission. Simply a cheesy way of selling auto insurance quotes.

I too received a pre-recorded message from this number. I called back and spoke to a "Tom" who asked how many vehicles he can insure for me today. I asked him his company name and he said it so fast I couldn't understand what he said, then he jumped right into his spiel. I interrupted him and told him that I'm on the do not call registry and to remove my number. He said "thank you" and hung up, without taking my phone number down. Complaint filed.

Received a call from above phone number; my number is registered as a do not call number and I do not want advertisers calling me!!!!

Bakersfield is the 9th largest city in California with a population of over 400,000.

I was called from this number and I am on the national do not call list.

Let it ring, no message. Checked here and found this wonderful sight thats lets us regular folks give each other info on these scammers.

Also it's a Bakersfield number figures probably somebody on a farm or in the middle of nowhere trying to scam ppl this is just not cool at all and I never heard an extension 800 lol but anyway hope my cOmments help you guys

Well they called me I didn't answer so I typed the number in google and read hundreds of complaints about this number so I called them back to give them a piece of my mind they didn't answer saying the person at ext 800 isn't available so I left a voicemail cursing and cursing there a** out letting them know they called the wrong f****ng phone and if they call again there a***s is grass,lol anyway I want them tO call me back I really wish somebody would have answered the phone though anyway 100% scam it's 2012 technology has came to far anybody that falls for this stuff now days is a fool. I know there not making any money so I told them to get a life and a real job and stop trying to scam ppl who work hard for there cash I'm waiting for that call back...

Press 1 to speak with a representative press 3 if you would no longer like to receive phone calls concerning this limited time offer." I pressed 3. HOWEVER...I shouldn't have received the call in the first place as I TOO AM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST!
