We are in KS and a salesman called our front desk, and we later received a toner we did not authorize, nor did it fit any of our machines. We were billed more than $600 for it. After weeks of waiting for a response from them, I contacted them through their web site and said:

Your company sent us a toner we did not order. We have no machines to
fit this item.

I have repeatedly attempted to contact you regarding its return. My
calls have not been returned.

Your company has since made collection calls to us regarding this item, however the "collections" person did not return my calls.

You may, at your choice mail us a UPS call tag within 7 days and I will return the item at your cost, otherwise we will consider your toner cartridge an unsolicited sample and will dispose of it.

I did receive a ups call tag. I also utilized the California Attorney General's link for business complaints.

Call them and tell them to pick up their overpriced, inferior toner since they were deceptive and did not disclose the real total to you.  It's like any other company - if you don't want the product, you are legally entitled to tell them to pick it up.  Yes, do not pay the bill - if you pay, they will keep sending you more overpriced toner without ordering and will expect you to pay for it.  They will claim that your verbal agreement is a binding contract - actually, it is not legal.  You would have to have a written agreement stating how much you'd buy and for how long, for it to be a legal contract.

I just received a call from these criminals earlier this morning.  Unfortunately we are a busy office and a call came in yesterday from them and a new employee was innocently manipulated into giving them our copier information. When they called this morning I was waiting for it.  They spoke about sending us new catalogs and I told them we have our own toner and copier company and you are not them!  They hung up!  Why can't someone stop them legally?

I started with a new company April 1 of this year.  One of the things I had to take care of immediately was nasty collection calls from this company.  I simply told the "gentleman" that the previous person in my position was not authorized to make this purchase, we were under contract with another company and would not pay this exorbitant amount for an item that we pay $50.00 for.  I informed them that they had two options, send a call tag through UPS, at their cost, and pick the toner up or chalk it up to a loss.  Two weeks later, UPS showed up.  Send it back, at their cost.

I was recently scammed by them this month. Sadly I was unaware at the time that it was a scam because they had already had our address and my name. They sent toner to the business that I work at and later we received a bill for $561.00.

What should I do? Send the toner back and just ignore the bill?

Yeah, it must take a really strong mind like yours to put up with a job where your entire scamming errr I mean "working" day is spent trying to trick people out of money on the phone.

What's truly amazing is that you can still find suckers who haven't heard of this tired old scam, but your visit tells us that sites like this are making your filthy scam more difficult to run on the phone. Glad to hear it.

This post is a joke. Obviously you are upset about being fired and I can see that we didn't let you go fast enough from the way you type. Use spell check and proof read you idiot. I'm sorry that people have nothing better to do then complain about a job they no longer have, also all of your info is wrong except our mailing address. Good job, I'm glad to know we are letting go the weak minded individuals that are not willing to work but stay on welfare.

Then send the stuff back and dispute the invoice - these people are scammers plain and simple.  They've misrepresented (fraud) the price of goods.  Report to the USPS for postal fraud.

If you are sent goods you did not order, you are under no obligation to send them back - it's on the sender's dime.  If you really want to, you can call them and tell them if it's not picked up by a certain time, you will consider it a gift.  They have no recourse under the USPS regulations.

If you didn't order the toner, then legally, they have no recourse to make you pay for it!  It was sent unsolicited and thus they can come pick it up or you keep it - do not pay for anything you never ordered!

Every time I see a call coming in from a blocked number, I know it's a scam...  My story is the same as eveyone else's!  "Todd" called asking if we received the invoice for the toners we "ordered", and I said we didn't, could he please fax it to me?  He did, I Googled his so-called company, found this site, and faxed him back with "Nice try Todd"

Central Direct USA contacted our Temporary Receptionist and confirmed that our shipment was ready.  She said okay, and they shipped us $600 worth of toner for a copy machine that is under contract.  Then they shipped another $500+ worth of toner less than a week later.  Then they called the Controller to "set up our account".

I have left them a message with two options, pick up their toner, or don't pick up their toner.  But either way, we're not paying this bill.

Unbelievable that people will spend so much time trying to rip other people off.  I wish they would use their time and effort for positive means.

I'm a receptionist and just got a call from them asking for the model number so that they could send over a new catalog. It was some lady who sounded really rude. I said that we don't do our business with them, that we do it with Konica and that I wasn't allowed to give out the model number. She said to transfer her to who would and I said that if she didn't know who she needed to be transferred to then she wasn't with Konica. She then said that she was with the toner supplies. I asked her to hold, googled the company, and found this page. In the 30 seconds it took me to do that, she hung up.

I actually don't mind when they call because I enjoy irritating them just as much as they THINK they're irritating me lol.

I received a call from Central Direct a few months ago and the guy on the line (Ryan) told me that "Jane" (not her real name for privacy reasons) ordered a toner cartridge from them and they were calling to verify our mailing address.  Being a new employee, I didn't know any better, so I said OK, and then they shipped the toner to us and sent us an invoice.  I received a call today from someone named Todd saying that the shipping warehouse felt bad about their mistake.  I asked what he meant, and he said they "forgot" to ship the other four toners that we ordered.  I told him not to ship them as we had enough.  I had my suspicions, and sure enough, they are what are called "toner pirates".   They are charging $650 for one toner cartridge when other vendors are charging $150.  I found out our machines are under contract with a local company and always have been, so there is no way Jane ordered toner from them.  Do not buy anything from Central Direct!!

A Teresa from Central Direct called and asked about our copiers, fishing for info. I asked her if they serviced our copiers (I know they don't, anyone who does KNOWS the equipment you have), she said "Yes", I asked again, "What is the name of your company?", she hung up as they always do.....

Don't be fool folks! Your company knows your equipment and make sure you are asking questions!!!!

Just got a call from "Vanessa" at this company. The number was blocked but I could tell it was a scam within the first three seconds. She asked if we had a copier with model number "1025," which doesn't match anything that we have (and even if it did, I was going to ask for more information). I strung her along a bit and she said she'd call me back. Doubt I'll hear from them again.

SCAM ARTISTS!!!  Received a call from Melissa at Central Direct, followed by a call the next day from Ryan.  Both speak very quickly and don't let you get a word in edgewise, immediately throwing you into their one-person conversation about a supposed "toner order" you have with them, and about the pricing changing soon.  As soon as the word "scam" left my mouth, I was hung up on.

Our accounting team received a call from someone named Todd at Central Direct USA who stated that the we have an invoice that was past due.  As we have a maintenance contract with our copier, we do not have a need to order toner. When I called Cental Direct USA, I spoke to Brittany and she said that "Todd" was away from his desk and she could help me.  I told her we did not order any toner as we have a maintenance contract that provides such things.  She wents as far as to tell me the kind of copier we had, when we ordered the toner, and who signed for the toner.  I told her that was impossible that we would oder any toner from them.  She said no problem, just pack the toner back up and she would send us a shipping label to return it and once received she would credit the invoice.  I checked once more with our front desk to make sure she did not sign for anything and called Brittany back to tell her I would like a copy of the signature page from UPS that shows we received anything from them.  She asked for our fax # and said she would fax it to us.  We received nothing from this company!  BEWARE!!

A man called back in april and left me a message graphically stating that he had sodomized and my mother and received oral sex. I listened to it several times over and I can hear someone saying central direct and something about a copier number clearly in the background. I've been on extended medical leave since March and just recieved the message. My mother has been dead for 6 years.
